My daughter bought me a $35 Amazon gift card from Woodman's for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the card was accidentally thrown away because it was still inside the envelope. The very next day, when I went to add the gift card to my Amazon account, we realized the envelope was gone. My daughter contacted Woodman's and was told to contact Amazon. Amazon said they could not help without the gift card serial number, which was not printed on the receipt, and told us to go back to Woodman's. I then called Woodman's with the original receipt and asked if they could help locate the serial number or provide any assistance. They refused to help, even after the issue was escalated to the corporate level. Update: After writing the review, someone from Woodman's did help us out. We appreciate the help. If the people at the store and corporate were as nice, I would have given an excellent experience. I enjoy the variety that Woodman's carries. The past year or so it has been a lucky guess of how things are done. This past Tuesday 10/21 I went to get some lunch meat and cheeses and there was a sign that said on break will be back at 220 pm. While 3 other customers waited for the girl to come back. It's now 235 pm and the other 3 customers just left. A cashier who use to work Deli came back to see why everyone was leaving thanks to her I got what I wanted. About 245 pm the Deli girl came back and I said your late and her response was JEP FOLLOWED BY A SMILE AND A LAFF. From 220 pm until and 235 pm 3 out 4 customers left there remaking groceries and left the store. Things in this deli need to get fixed if you want to keep customers.
