The recent change to not allowing the customer to opt out of a service at the drive in kiosk, but rather put the loader in charge was a very unsafe idea. I cancelled my membership. Why? When the loader/Prep person is loading and prepping the front of the car ANDdriver becomes distracted when the customer rolls the window down to talk to the attendant. My wife, left her car in drive too long as result and nearly hit the car in front of her. The attendant sprayed water into the driver's face as she rolled down the window. Not good. Stopped to wash my car, (I have a monthly membership) and it was a bad experience. The vacuums were not working, none of them. I had to search through 7 stations to find a clean towel. I visited Superstar Car Wash today and paid $32 total ($27 for the wash and $5 for a tip), but unfortunately, my vehicle on the inside looked virtually as unchanged as when I arrived. The outside of the car, which I drove through the exterior portion of the wash myself, looked fine. When I left my keys to wait inside for them to complete the interior portion of the wash, I returned after about 30 minutes and the interior still had visible dust, dirt, and debris throughout -- including the floor mats, seats, cupholders, and storage areas. The photos I've attached were taken after the wash was completed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately returned to the location to express my concerns, but the experience only became more disappointing. The manager was dismissive, rude and unprofessional, stating that they were "not responsible for washing the mats or seats" and that I should "read the sign better."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I requested a refund, he refused, claiming that their services had already been completed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was one very helpful worker that was exceedingly apologetic. He stated that he was new and that I was the fourth customer to come back that day and complain about the quality of service received that day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish I had gotten his name, because he did his job well and I appreciated that very much. I very rarely go to these lengths to complain about services, but I feel that it is warranted due to such poor service. Very disappointed. I've been here before with my Mercedes and had a great experience, but this time with my Bronco was terrible. The interior was rushed, still dirty after re-vacuuming, and had residue left behind. I also noticed a chip and scratches. read more

I can't believe the maintenance of this car wash. I last left the review that said the spray nozzles were not moving with a solid high pressure flow onto the top of my car causing a leak. I thought maybe after a couple months Andy response from a company representative they would've fixed this but to my surprise and maybe not surprise, it's still not fixed it's still not oscillating, it still has high-pressure water onto my car and I could almost hear the metal creasing from the pressure of these nozzles on the roof of my vehicle. I came here for a full interior detail after five years of kid messes, food, and everyday wear--and I was so impressed. Andrew greeted me right away and was incredibly kind. He noticed it was my first time and gave me a great deal by throwing in an extra service. While I waited, I relaxed in their comfy lounge area inside the gas station--plenty of snacks, TVs, and seating. After about three hours, my car looked and smelled brand new. They restored my rubber floor mats (I thought I'd have to toss them!), removed sticky residue from the exterior I thought was permanent, and left everything shining like I just drove it off the lot. I signed up for a monthly membership around January 2025. However, every time I visited, I was told I didn't have an account--despite showing proof of charges from my bank. The manager would let me in, but the issue was never resolved. On May 1st, I was told to contact Superstar online for help. Their website claims they'll respond within 3 days, but over the next two months, I received eight vague responses saying they were still "looking into it"--all while continuing to charge me monthly. I asked to cancel on May 1st. Maritza Espinoza replied asking for screenshots of the charges, which I provided immediately. I never heard back. On June 9th, I followed up again requesting a refund for May and cancellation. Still no response. Now it's June, and they've charged me again. I've had to contact my bank to stop future payments. This has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily difficult. I expected better service and communication. read more

On the 21st of this month, I had my car at the 99th and McDowell well location. The car wash roller knocked the spoiler off my car. The manager turned in a report to have my car repaired, but it has been impossible to get anything done with the superstore car wash claim department. Customer service is seriously lacking in this location, the employee (20280) has zero. Why can't you just communicate to pull forward or that my "full service" carwash involves me actually driving my car into the washing station itself? When the police truck that pulled up behind me for a wash, this employee was more than happy to approach them versus asking them to pull forward. Where is the double standard? This guy seriously tried to upsell me as well- not interested in the $150 detail special for the day. Also: the staff "detailing" never signaled to anyone that their car was ready when it was done- it was left up to your own interpretation to find out if it was ready or not. Even then, it was barely clean- both the exterior and interior were left dirty. If this was the service at $27, imagine the $150 detail? I went to the Super Star location on Signal Butte in Mesa at their 7:00AM opening time. I waited for them to open, but by 7:15, they still hadn't removed the cones. I knocked on their shop door, and I yelled for someone at the entrance to the tunnel, but received no response. I've also had problems at this location with the kiosks, and with the conveyor stopping numerous times in the middle of a wash. Super Star is just more trouble than it's worth. I will not be returning, and I have used them for several years. Too many other less hassle free options. read more

This location pulled a bait & switch on us. Took our vehicle in, cashier says we are having a special, if you pay $7.00 more you can bring your car in within 30 days and get another wash. When we took our vehicle in for the 2nd wash there was no money exchanged. A few days later I see a 35.95 charge on my bank account. They set us up for a membership without even asking if we wanted it. Lost us as customers, I refuse to deal with companies like this. read more
