Parking can be a bit tricky, but if you manage, you're in for a treat with delicious classic Chinese dishes. Depending on your spend, you may even get freebies.

Pretty decent HK style restaurant (diner?) tucked away behind Leslie. Parking here is pretty atrocious. There are maybe 30 spots in the parking lot. Nowhere near enough for the number of customers. Something to keep in mind. The inside is mostly dark trim. Square booths with some short glass partitions. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints. Word on the street is that the head chef is from Specialty Chicken nearby which closed down a few months ago, and is known for his signature soy chicken, so this is the dish to have here. It was definitely a good choice. The meat was nice and smooth and slippery. Super delicious. Special mention. Served with a dish of garlic and ginger. I also tried the fish hot pot. Decent sized portion for 1 person if desired, but probably better shared among 2-3 people. Nice chunks of fish. Soup has a nice kick but isn't crazy spicy. Served wiht some pickled vegetables and cliantro. Hit the spot. The only thing stopping me from coming back is the parking lot issue. Carpooling may be a good idea.

Small HK style cafe on near the intersection of Leslie Rd and No. 3 Rd. In a two story building with other restaurants and businesses. Has some parking spots but fills up during dinner time. Pretty busy for weekend dinner. The menu is mostly rice, noodle, pasta meals that are ordered for each person rather than dishes to share. Mostly of their meals include a hot drink and you can pay extra for a cold drink. We got almond milks and hot chocolate. They serve them without much sugar, so you can add sugar on your own. The almond drink with sugar tastes much better. For food, we got the Singapore style noodles, which was decent. Also got the shrimp and chicken baked pasta with red and white sauce, and that was pretty good. Got a combo meal with beef short ribs, fried shrimp and fries, that was decent as well. The combo comes with a choice of soup + garlic bread. We got the cream of mushroom soup which was not very creamy. Finally, we ordered a chicken hotpot soup to share. The soup was good, with strong dong quai (当归) flavor. Bill was $80 before tip, which is on the inexpensive side these days. Good portions for food as we couldn't finish the noodles.

Came here for tea time special at around 5pm on a Wednesday. Came here specifically for the 2$ french toast because where else can you get a price like that for HK style french toast. Everything else on their tea time menu was very well priced. We got the fish rice soup, scallop curry and baked bolognese noodles. We felt the fish rice soup was mediocre but they are very generous with the amount of seafood in there. The scallop curry rice was not bad. Pretty good curry flavours and fragrance. They give you a lot of curry compared to the amount of rice. The baked bolognese pasta was mediocre in flavour and the sauce was pretty boring. Would recommend you skip this dish and order something else. The French toast was definitely worth 2$. Although not an exceptional french toast it was definitely the highlight of our meal. The service here is quite friendly and as it was pretty empty as it wasn't during peak hours, everything came really quickly. I looked at what other tables were ordering and it seems like everybody gets their stir fried dishes. Next time I would come back during tea time 3-6 or 9pm till closing and try their stir fried noodles and rice. Overall the portions here are quite big, flavours are mediocre but definitely reminds you of Hong Kong. Tip: they charge for takeout boxes here. Please either bring your own (to help the environment), be prepared to pay, or don't pack anything away

We feel like super stars dining here... Super stars of savings that is! One of the better value and tasting HK-style café in Richmond, it serves up everything from combo meals to fried rice/noodle dishes to personal-sized hotpots served on portable tabletop gas stoves- perfect for cold weather. Also hands down one of the best soya chicken around town and they often sell out by mid-day. Parking can be tough at peak hours but the Arcade1Up setup by the entrance is fun while you wait for a table. $2.99 Happy Hour French toast a must try la ^_^

Great food, no frills, a bit of a wait at 11:30am. Wish I came for happy hour as many people rave about the French toast. I had the pork chop on rice with black bean sauce (13-14$) and family had a pan fried noodle with black bean sauce.

Food is not wow. Nothing too special here. I would say experience, taste, quality and service are about average compared to all other HK cafes in Richmond. My mom and I ordered the two meat options with rice or noodles for $13.99. It also came with a hot drink and a choice of creme soup or Hong Kong Russian borscht soup. I picked the Russian Borscht Soup. Overall, I do like the soup and the kick that is in it. My dad had the beef curry. He liked the flavor but the quality of the beef was so bad that it was not really edible. The restaurant was about half full on a Sunday. Also one thing to note about this restaurant is that it is not very airy inside. There are hardly any exposure to outside sunlight. All the windows are covered in black black curtains or paper. The seats are somewhat crammed (especially in the booth seats). Maybe its made for tiny people. Note that they do have specials/happy hours starting at 3pm to 6pm. Not sure about the portion size on the food during their happy hours.

Food is decent! Portions are big! This is a Hong Kong Style Cafe that has experienced several changes in their name, the kitchen seems to be the same tho! The Curry Beef Brisket I ordered had just the right amount of spice without being over powering. The other dish we ordered: Baked Fish Fillet with Spinach in Cream Sauce on Rice, was done the classic Hong Kong style and was delicious! Add $1 for a cold drink and $1.50 for soup, the meal comes with a hot drink with no cost.

Once again back here at this gem! This is a semi hidden hk style cafe with amazing portions and amazing prices! The menu has a wide range variety but so far the things I've tried has been super delicious and outstanding. * Curry beef brisket ($14.95) ~ sooo good! It was creamy and yummy with the rice. The brisket was tender too. Not much of a kick but it sure is delicious here! I usually get this here especially when I'm craving curry! * Combination set ($19.95) ~ this comes with a 3 meat portions, spaghetti and a drink. We got the pork chop, sole cutlet (+$3), and the rib eye steak (+$1). The cutlet was sooo crispy and good! Tender and juicy. The rib eye steak was cooked nicely medium rare and tender and nicely seasoned. The pork chop was juicy too! Also you get a choice of sauce we got a garlic sauce. Also comes with soup. * Also got hot Lemon tea, hot chocolate. * 8/10 ~ really highly recommend trying this place! A smaller place but it's delicious and has a lot of variation. * 9/10 ~ probably one of the cheapest with good portion for hk style cafe in Richmond! It was tasty too! Total bill before tip: $36.65. * swipe for menu (it's only some photos as I couldn't include them all. Check out my yell review for all menu photos).

I passed by Leslie Road at Richmond few weeks ago and saw Super Stars cafe there. I tried to search on yelp but no review of it. Well... My hubby likes to eat at cha chann teng as simple and quick dinner so I persuaded him to make food adventure trip for HK style café. I found the interior was cool and clean, service also pretty good too. My hubby ordered beef fried rice which good but the curry fish balls was disappointed coz it served in Portuguese sauce instead of curry sauce. My pork chop with onion spaghetti was mediocre. Red bean drink was ok. I rather trade quality to quantity, the food was average with reasonable price. It's probably nice to eat here every once in a while since it's pretty cheap but I can't see it as a place that I would return often.

There's nothing I love more than Hong Kong Cafe food and I was happy with the food I had at Super Stars Cafe. The restaurant has a nice theme, is very clean, and had very good service. One thing that did throw me off during my meal was the strange TV show that was playing on the big screen TV, but I was just there at the wrong time. Overall, the food was really tasty. We all ordered the $13.99 meal where we pick two meats, on rice or noodles, the sauce (I paid extra for the creamy corn sauce), a hot drink (I also paid extra for a cold lemon tea), and either the cream soup or tomato soup AND garlic bread. It was a lot of food for what we paid and I would definitely go back!

bad service / I asked for half Noodle in my soup they said it is not possible. How's it not possible??? All they say is "no".. / don't expect personalization decent food family friendly lots of options on menu price was reasonable if I had to choose 1 dish: their custom grill menu would I go back? Maybe

Nice dining experience when we came there. Surprisingly, their combo was a good deal. Based on what you get with that prices were very filling and quality was not bad.

Pork chops and ribeye steak with spaghetti and carrots... the rice is what my Dad didn't want to eat, LOL..,
