First of all, you have to actually serve food when your "open". Having someone in the kitchen who can't or won't cook anything is not conducive to having a "restaurant". Stopped in at 9:30am this morning and left 10 seconds after opening the door and the "help" said no one was there to cook any food. read more

The Tacos were cold and for 12 plus dollars for 2 and a fountain drink I was expecting lunch but nope I got snacks that just were not very good served on a sticky table. The house Salsa is exquisite that is a definite 100% thoroughly absolutely amazing thing to experience without a doubt. I wouldn't come back and advise going elsewhere. The prelude to the storm; The first time we tried Super Taco Express we were absolutely thrilled with the menu, as well as the outstanding customer service. However that was most definitely short lived. We placed a large order online last week the Saturday before Father's Day, as a special dinner for the Dad of our house whom is an essential worker and works weekends and had taken the night off. The annoyance; After spending 30 min online trying to figure out the menu we placed an order. Some items had customizations for the kids, others were combos, some items very straight forward. We arrive at our designated pick up time (mind you $124 later) to pick up our order and upon getting back to my vehicle can see not all of the items are in the bags. My husband walked back inside and attempted to correct the order. Keep in mind he is ALWAYS overly nice... to a fault. The greater annoyance; We get home and start going through the bag and out of 11 items 4 were made correctly. FOUR. That's not even half. So, I tried calling, no answer. So again, my husband drives to the location and attempts to get the items corrected... and he said the girls inside this time around were so rude he not only would he never go back, he was cautious to even eat the food. It's really unfortunate because living in a rural area we don't have many choices... but this isn't ok. read more

My boyfriend is a Decorated Chef w cullinary degrees and used to be Arnold Swartzeneggers personal Chef and also Grey Davis... we both were amazed! I would even give them 1 star- This place is the worse in customer service. They make so many mistakes on the food order. When I told the manager about the mistake he was accusing me of lying, this is 3rd time they have messed up on my order. The manager Martin didn't want to even listen to me on what I had to say. I will never ever go to this place again. I hope the owners see my message. I do eat spicy food. I get a lawyer and sue them for giving me the wrong order. read more

I was very happy that the neighborhood has a New Mexican restaurant! I stopped by after filling up my truck to check it out. First observation is that it is very clean, employees always washed hands as they entered the kitchen area. They were obviously cooking refried beans from scratch which is always a good sign. The salsa bar was nice and the one had was fantastic with great flavor and some heat but not too much. They had the hot stuff too. I had the regular chorizo breakfast burrito and it was perfect size and they also offer a large size too. The burrito had that traditional homemade taste with great flavor. I will be back again for sure, I even grabbed some menus for the neighbors. If you live near Sheldon Inn, give this place a try, You won't be disappointed. read more

Yep - a Little Pricey... Had hope for the Mini Tacos @ $1.85 each, however, while it was not indicated, choosing Shrimp made the price $3.50 -- the grilled chicken was chunk-cut, tasted like it was several days old & tough as beef jerky, while the shrimp had no flavor and seemed just ordinary. The Taco Salad @ $9.95 with carnitas had a lot of big pieces of lettuce, some sour cream, ONE SLICE of Black Olive (ridiculous!), had to separately order a minuscule portion of store-bought, not homemade, guacamole. The Burrito Chile verde @ $8.95 - was informed it was good & could have been grilled more. On more of a positive note, the restaurant is clean and nice inside with metal & wood tables and chairs, and also outside high tables & metal stools - there is a note in the door indicating no alcohol is allowed outside on the patio when you eat there, which seems odd. read more

I felt this was a little on the pricey side, compared with the taco place inside Dillard Store. It tasted fresh though, and the cafeteria/Farmhouse style decor is cute. There is no soda machine yet, $3.50 for a small bottle of soda. (We all got water) I ended up paying $17.51 for two small tacos, a quesadilla, a burrito and no drinks. (When we left my kids said they were hungry lol) It was loud though, the metal chairs scrape on the concrete and we had a hard time talking even though the music wasn't loud (it was a busy rush hour lunch on a weekend). Customer service was good, they were extremely kind and working fast to handle the crowd, although we had to wait awhile. I will probably try it again to see if it has improved, it's a great location and we love fresh Mex food. read more

I am so annoyed that I got food to go and didn't look at it until I got home. I ordered crispy tacos. $3.5 each. Not that bad. The shells were manufactured in a factory. Maybe out of one of those boxes you pick up at your local grocery. I can't believe they don't make their own shells. My advice is skip this place and just got to Taco Bell. The name is Super Taco. Honest answer Iam no Mexican food snob but I lived next to the Mexican boarder for 20 years so yes I was spoiled when I tried super taco for the first time when I moved up here to Sacramento I vowed to never eat there again I threw up for a day after eating there food and it started within 2 hours after eating there taco. Secondly it was so greasy I thought I was gonna die of a heart attack while eating this place thinks it's a Mexican restaurant. It just has poor standards and poor food and the people that eat there think it's good because they have never really had Mexican before there one step up from Taco Bell at the most. So my honest opinion you can decide but I would recommend passing by and avoiding this place or any super taco. read more

I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw this location pop up. Food and customer service were excellent. I personally enjoyed the Carne Asada Tacos. They were definitely a good size for what you got. I would say that the menu is pretty on par in the price department with any other Mexican Restaurant. The only downside I would give to this place is that aesthetically inside it's not super pleasing, but it is very clean. On that note, I really don't care what I'm looking at as long as I'm eating good food. Will definitely be going back to this location read more

So I ordered online an order of a taco combo and an enchilada combo. For the enchiladas it asks what color sauce, I chose green and I get home and there's red sauce on them. I call and the manager says it doesn't say on the receipt what color, and proceeds to say I can place another order. Why would I pay for another enchilada combo when I already paid for the one that should've been what I ordered. She didn't care that it was really her computers fault for not telling her that I ordered green sauce, but could give me 20% off, what a joke. I won't be back. The person who answered the phone was pleasant. When I arrived, social distancing was being practiced. They were busy and did not make me feel rushed.
