    2 Asada Tacos

Hmm.. I'm sad to say that their carne asada tacos were really dry :/ The meat was a little overcooked this time perhaps? I had to drown the tacos in lime juice and with their salsas to swallow *but* honestly, kudos to their salsa!! The red and green were really classic and had great flavor. The complimentary chips weren't the best but they were just fine as a vehicle for the salsa. Ambiance is casual & service is quick/efficient. Probably will stick with my usual order of their quesabirrias with consome next time I go!

A Reliable Go-To for Mexican Favorites If you've ever been to a Super Taco, you already know -- the food is consistent. And that's what keeps me coming back. It's one of those spots where you can grab a taco, burrito, enchilada, soup, or even dessert and know exactly what you're going to get. My go-to is the super burrito -- hard to beat at a place like this. But I've also tried the salad, and I'll say this... don't sleep on it. It's actually really good and worth trying for yourself. The service is always solid. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps things moving. It's a great place to meet up with friends for lunch without overthinking it. Now, let me be clear -- it can get a little noisy. There are usually a lot of people, and that energy comes with it. But if you catch a game while you're there, sitting at the bar or grabbing a booth can actually make that part of the experience enjoyable. Overall, it's a lively, family-friendly environment with people of all ages just enjoying good food and good company. If you're looking for something consistent and dependable, this is a solid choice.

Our go to! Another great experience! My recommendation: get the quesabirra (3) with everything, EXTRA crunchy and add the pickled onions/habanero (if you like spicy). I can literally eat this weekly for the rest of my life. My 10 year old even likes it but plan (no onion/cilantro). My kids also enjoy getting their own soda...they will absolutely serve you... but they request to fill their own cups and they always allow it! (They like to mix sodas ). Great vibe, decent prices, good food!

We came to Supper Taco for dinner without any previous plans or research about the place, so we had no idea what we were going to get. Once we entered, the first thing that struck me positively was the size and appearance of the dining area. On the right side, there is a bar where one can eat, drink, and watch sports, and on the other side is a quieter dining area; all areas are connected and nicely set up and decorated. We were greeted at the door and led to our table. Our server was a wonderful young woman who greeted us with a smiling face and answered a couple of questions we had. We started with guacamole, which was freshly made, and three Agua de Jamaica or hibiscus teas. For the main dish, I ordered a Ceviche Tostada, which was chopped shrimp, pico de gallo, diced cucumber, and lime juice all tossed together on a tostada, and topped with avocado. It was delicious. My companions each ordered a Beef Soup or Caldo de Res, which is a traditional beef stew served with fresh vegetables, a side of fresh Mexican rice, savory Chile-Limon, and diced jalapeños. It came in a big bowl, and there was so much in it that they had to take half home for the next day. They were both satisfied with their choice. We all enjoyed our meals and were very happy with the service.

Taco Salad with ground beef. The beef was soupy that it drenched the bottom of the shell.

This is close to home and it is one that I would go to for Mexican food. I've had different kinds of other kinds of food in the past and it is very good. Today, I ordered Taco salad with ground beef. I will NEVER order ground anything again. When I got home and started eating it, I found the bottom was drenched almost looking like soup! Very disappointed. I gave this review 4 stars because I have had great Taco salad in the past with grilled steak/chicken or fish. I do not recommend Taco salad with ground beef.

Rocío is the best server!!!!! I am a regular at super taco and she's always making sure my order is neat. I have never had any issues. Totally recommend to get a table in her section.

Sometimes you just want to go to sit in a Mexican restaurant with good chips and salsa and this place just does that for me. I love their chips and salsa. When they bring you the habanero with onions, it makes it more of a treat for me. The ambiance is nice and perfect for watching sports games. They have a full bar, and the service is spectacular. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Everything is so good and filling. So, if you're looking for a nice sit in Mexican restaurant with good chips and salsa, come here!

At the edge of the Safeway plaza, this establishment has been here for years! And as it should stand the test of time, this place not only has wonderful customer service but great food to all go with it. I came in on a lazy Tuesday morning opting for some Mexican breakfast and lunch that I could not decide on, fortunately this place offers both! I got the steak super taco was fully loaded with the works on freshly cooked chopped steak, fresh salsa, perfectly toasted flour tortilla and a kiss of Parmesan cheese on it to add extra depth. It was amazing! The bacon and eggs breakfast was super filling, enough to make you go into food coma for the entire day. The bacon was cooked all the way but kept its nice chewy texture. The eggs were scrambled with it and not needed any extra salt since the bacon was salty already, great way to balance each other out. The beans, although I'm not a particular fan of beans myself, I ate the beans here! It was fresh and had some aromatics blended in it that I just absolutely enjoyed!

I found Rosa Madera when searching for "queso" in Yelp...(I really was wanting some queso)…read more Anyways, funnily enough, I read through the menu when I got here and ended up getting nachos in place of the queso...that's fine though, it gave me an excuse to come back another day. It's a nice looking place inside, especially considering its general location. They were busy even at an off hour mid-week, but I can see why because the food is great and so is the atmosphere. My first visit, I tried the following: Enchilada Verde (Lunch Menu), Mini Birria Tacos (Lunch Menu), and Nachos de la Casa (with asada). They also brought out complimentary chicharrones de harina, which was especially nice because I was super hungry! My second visit I had the following: Queso Con Rajás Dip, Los Favoritos, and the Burrito de Carnitas (Lunch Menu). I ended up liking the nachos way more than the queso. I wasn't expecting the queso to just be the consistency of slightly melted cheese. I also wish they were a bit more generous with the chips since I ran out of chips way sooner than the dips. No complaints on my main dish portions though! Really loved most things I've tried. The presentation of my dishes I've ordered here, the Enchilada Verde and the Burrito de Carnitas, was great too. The chicken was just slightly too dry for the Enchilada, but the flavor made up for it. Only complaint is while the service was nice, it was SO slow both times I've been here. It took forever to get the check and when they did bring out the card reader you can't see the receipt, only a total. Then their lowest automatic tipping button is set at over 22% (with two higher percent options), which is honestly crazy to me since most places start at around 18%. I way overtipped on accident the first time I came. I think it's highly likely they get overtipped for this reason, which is nice for them but kind of not fair to the customer. I'll continue to return!

The consomme was made from the broth used to slow cook the beef used in the quesabirrias. The quesabirrias were delicious when dipped in the consomme. The nachos contained tomato, onion, cilantro, guacamole, jalapenos, radishes, carne asada, and cheese under fresh tortilla chips. All the ingredients were of high quality and tasted delicious together. Complimentary chicharrones de harina were served with hot sauce. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant that served complimentary chicharrones de harina. Chicharrones de harina are a Mexican snack that are made from fried wheat flour. Service was good as the workers were friendly and polite. They were short staffed so service was slower than if they were properly staffed. It was surprisingly busy around 2pm on a weekday.

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food! They didn't just walk by like frazzled, hurried workers like most restaurants pushing through the crowds. They actually gave me a nice smile and said welcome, and then walked by. And then I got to the reception area found that there was already a pretty big crowd at around the 5:30 PM or so I guess a lot of early birds come to eat there on Sunday. The receptionist asked for how many and said you'd be like a 20 minute wait and there was chairs where people were waiting but it was only like a 15 minute wait. The server was fast with the chips and salsa and ice water and then soon the waiter came and took my order. He was really quick and witty, fun to talk to. What I really enjoyed was as the noise of the table Near quieted down and they left. I saw a young man cleaning up the table and getting it ready for the next group of people. He was dressed really nice and had a tie on. Having been in restaurants most of my life I said to myself, I bet you he works with the owners or something. And I said to him, are your related to people that own the place ? he said my parents own this place. He was very friendly and polite. He told me a tiny bit about the restaurant and how everything had been since 1970, much older than he was, he was only a sophomore in high school I think. I never really got his name, but I was kind of proud of him because he was working hard at his family's restaurant. I ordered probably something bigger than I could eat because I had to take leftovers home, but it was really a tasty meal, and they're coming out with more chips and salsa without being asked, probably didn't help as well as a second lemonade. It's really impressive when you have a well oiled machine and it appeared to me that the people that worked there seem to be happy so that's always a good sign of good management. Several years back, I worked in the restaurant industry doing maintenance and repairs so I went to a lot of different restaurants and saw a lot of things so I know what to look for. I'm definitely gonna come back when my brother and his wife come up from the Bay Area my friend Ivan he'll wanna go there for lunch or dinner I know. I arrived here somewhat late with a party of three on a weekday evening and quickly realized that…read morethere was only about 30 minutes left before closing, so we decided to order our food to go rather than dine in. From what I could see, the restaurant looked really inviting and I appreciated that they have a dog friendly patio. I always have my pup with me and that is the main reason we chose this location. I liked the style and design of the interior of the restaurant and overall it had a very nice vibrant feel. The staff was also warm and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. The Torta Gorda was the biggest disappointment. The meat was very bland and seemed barely seasoned while the bread had become soggy by the time we got it home. There just wasn't much to it. The mole also missed the mark for me. The sauce lacked the rich complex flavors I expect from a good mole and the chicken was noticeably dry. The rice, beans and esquites were ok. The nachos on the other hand were quite good. They were flavorful and satisfying and although I thought they were a little heavy-handed with the radishes, I mostly enjoyed the flavors. For for three people the bill came to around $100 after tip which felt a bit steep, especially considering the overall quality of the meal. While this visit didn't live up to my expectations, I'm willing to give Polanco Cantina another shot and probably dine in next time. I have a much better idea now of which dishes to steer clear of and the restaurant itself seemed promising so I'm hoping the experience is improved when the food is enjoyed fresh from the kitchen.
