Came in on a Tuesday afternoon. The sun was hot and blazing. We entered the room and it was cool and refreshing. We were seated by nice lady with big smile. As we sat the server dropped off some chips and salsa. It was the best chip and dip I ever had. The seasoning was just on point. As we sat the waiter approached us and took our order and gave us a few recommendations. We ended up ordering a few street tacos, burrito, enchiladas, and a ceviche de Camaron. All the food came out in an orderly fashion. At the end of lunch we all left happily and full. With no regrets. Not a single bit. HIGHLY recommend the ceviche de camaron. read more

Hmm.. I'm sad to say that their carne asada tacos were really dry :/ The meat was a little overcooked this time perhaps? I had to drown the tacos in lime juice and with their salsas to swallow *but* honestly, kudos to their salsa!! The red and green were really classic and had great flavor. Our go to! Another great experience! My recommendation: get the quesabirra (3) with everything, EXTRA crunchy and add the pickled onions/habanero (if you like spicy). I can literally eat this weekly for the rest of my life. My 10 year old even likes it but plan (no onion/cilantro). My kids also enjoy getting their own soda...they will absolutely serve you... but they request to fill their own cups and they always allow it! (They like to mix sodas ). We came to Supper Taco for dinner without any previous plans or research about the place, so we had no idea what we were going to get. Once we entered, the first thing that struck me positively was the size and appearance of the dining area. On the right side, there is a bar where one can eat, drink, and watch sports, and on the other side is a quieter dining area; all areas are connected and nicely set up and decorated. We were greeted at the door and led to our table. Our server was a wonderful young woman who greeted us with a smiling face and answered a couple of questions we had. We started with guacamole, which was freshly made, and three Agua de Jamaica or hibiscus teas. For the main dish, I ordered a Ceviche Tostada, which was chopped shrimp, pico de gallo, diced cucumber, and lime juice all tossed together on a tostada, and topped with avocado. It was delicious. My companions each ordered a Beef Soup or Caldo de Res, which is a traditional beef stew served with fresh vegetables, a side of fresh Mexican rice, savory Chile-Limon, and diced jalapeños. It came in a big bowl, and there was so much in it that they had to take half home for the next day. They were both satisfied with their choice. This is close to home and it is one that I would go to for Mexican food. I've had different kinds of other kinds of food in the past and it is very good. Today, I ordered Taco salad with ground beef. I will NEVER order ground anything again. When I got home and started eating it, I found the bottom was drenched almost looking like soup! Very disappointed. The waitress, Karen provided great service! Karen was genuine checking in on me & my family, and was proactive in bringing items we would need before the meal arrived. If I was only rating the staff on here, I would rate a perfect 5! But unfortunately, the food wasn't great. I had the asada Super Taco. I only took a few bites. We arrived shortly before seven on Cinco de Mayo and encountered the worst service I've ever had at this particular location. They were woefully understaffed in spite of it being the holiday and simultaneously running several specials that would naturally attract a larger than ordinary crowd. If there was a manager on-site that evening, they did absolutely nothing to make themselves known. We should only added insult to injury. Many patrons round up having to bus their own tables and refill their own chips and salsa. It took 25 minutes to get our order taken, although there were several tables that were seated after us who had already received their drinks and entrees by the time the bartender was able to get away and take our order. No one came to check on us after the food was delivered and no one really seemed to care. Overall, the night felt like an epic failure. read more

I got the steak super taco was fully loaded with the works on freshly cooked chopped steak, fresh salsa, perfectly toasted flour tortilla and a kiss of Parmesan cheese on it to add extra depth. It was amazing! The bacon and eggs breakfast was super filling, enough to make you go into food coma for the entire day. The bacon was cooked all the way but kept its nice chewy texture. The eggs were scrambled with it and not needed any extra salt since the bacon was salty already, great way to balance each other out. Today I went into Super Taco and placed an order for food for 4 people. We were celebrating Father's Day early with my family. When I got to the house after I picked up my to go order, I noticed we were missing a whole plate of tacos. I called Super Taco and explained the situation. They put me on hold to fix the situation and never came back on the phone before hanging up on me. I called back and the girl said "let me talk to my team lead, we will get the food remade." I said I'm not driving 20 minutes back to get the food, just please take it off my bill. She said she would ask her team lead, only to hang up on me again. I proceeded to call back 8 times and they hung up on me each time. Super Taco has not been the same since the crew changed. I'm beyond frustrated and I was incredibly kind just asking for it to be taken off and that it was an honest mistake. But ignoring a problem and hanging up multiple times is not an honest mistake. read more

Stopped by Super Taco on Elk Grove Florin and had a great experience! I ordered the Albondigas soup and their $12.50 weekly special both hit the spot and were packed with flavor. I also tried a Cadillac margarita and a Red Ruby Paloma, and both drinks were well-balanced and refreshing and presentation was on POINT!!!! My girlfriend got the birria tacos, and they were loaded and juicy definitely a must!!! What really stood out, though, was the outstanding service from Mariam. She was friendly, and made me feel rite at home and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. My husband went to order pick-up for us during dinner time on a Sunday night. He said the restaurant was not busy, so he was confused why the staff did not acknowledge him for at least a minute when he arrived. Cleanliness was not their top priority either, since he noticed the sticky floors while waiting for service. Food quality was lackluster, given the general space being mostly empty during dinner time. I ordered an $18 shrimp burrito that had 1/3 filled with shrimp and the rest with "filler" ingredients (plenty of refried beans, iceberg lettuce, rice, and pico de gallo). I was upset since most of the shrimp were distributed towards the bottom half of the burrito, and the amount of it was less than expected for its price point. My husband had a similar problem with his carne asada wet burrito, though his portion of pico de gallo was primarily raw onion. We will take our business elsewhere in the future with the major discrepancies between the prices, quality and effort given to the food, employees there, and to the customers. read more
