We had lunch here and it was really good! The service was really fast and the food was really tasty. The restaurant was very clean and authentic.

This is the SUSHI SPOT! If you are in Savannah go to this place! The sushi is always fresh, the chicken teriyaki is amazing! The food is always super quick and the beautiful family that owns this place is always so welcoming to me and my Dad! Our favorite spot for dinner is here and we always spend birthday dinners at Super Tastes!!!

Family GO TO take out Japanese on Wilmington island. Food is ready quick, isn't too pricy, is always very fresh. Staff is also super friendly and accommodating for menu suggestions and substitutions. My go to is the spicy tuna Poké bowl and I add spicy crab salad. But honestly anything is great. I LOVE their teriyaki tofu and any of their sushi rolls.

A friend and I were craving some sushi so we came here, despite it being half an hour away from where we were staying in Savannah. But man, we were so glad we made the trek here. I ordered the sushi sashimi combo, and my friend ordered the sashimi dinner. The presentation was incredible, they both came in boats which was a nice surprise! The portions were generous, each order was definitely more than enough to fill us both up. Both came with a soup (either miso or mushroom) and a small ginger salad. They also gave us two egg rolls for free before we ordered. Fish was fresh and yummy! An absolute treat, and prices are extremely reasonable. Service was fast and very nice. If I'm ever back in the Savannah area, I'd love to come back!

My long awaited, gate-kept secret! I love love love super taste, I've been going here for years, before they had even moved from downtown to the islands! Their food is consistently good, fresh fish and large quantities decently priced. They also give you complimentary spring rolls, which always starts my dinner right. Their Takoyaki is perfectly made with the right amount of crunch and sauce. The place is run by a tight family who always provides my friends, family, and I with the best service, making me feel at ease. The restaurant is a bit small, but that's what makes it a local gem. I love this place and will always speak highly of their quality and their consistency.

Amazing dinner! Served hot & fresh. Huge amounts of food for the price. Tempura served a wide variety of veggies. chicken katsu had 2 large patties. Will definitely return!

We were traveling with a big group and they were happy to take us. If you are looking for something outside of downtown Savannah and you want seafood this is the place to go! The Poke Bowl is a huge portion for about $15 and the Katsu is HUGE. The service is so nice and some of the people I was traveling with said the steak was phenomenal as well. The restaurant itself is quite small so I recommend calling in advance, but they do takeout as well. Overall, its is a TOTAL recommend, and it is better than a lot of the really expensive restaurants on the beach and riverfront!

Love the free spring roll appetizer! Very fast service, and best sushi we have tried in the greater Savannah area!

My boyfriend and I tried this place for lunch today . They have a small dinning room not great for parties more than 4. We were greeted quickly and given spring rolls (2) for free as a little appetizer. My boyfriend liked their house salad but I would try their miso next time. We both tried different lunch hibachi specials. I loved their chicken and he loved their steak . It was perfect amount of food for lunch at a great price point.

I always get the Spicy Lemongrass Noodles (baseline usually not very spicy- you can add table side spices to your liking). They vary a little year to year but I always enjoy them. Cold air inside, waters stayed full, but it can be fairly noisy depending who you're sat next to and how busy the place is. Tables can be a bit tight for a couple as you'll only get a 2 top (they get busy and need to save the larger tables for bigger parties). We were able to order before the 10 top next to us, so our food came out super fast! (Yay!!) Could use two bathrooms though, the one they have is large but when they are packed it can be quite a wait. Lots of metered street parking on Broughton and nearby streets. We'll be back again!

Pad Thai 2.5/5 could have had way more flavor and had zero spice, and they didn't ask if we wanted a spice level at all. Flavor came out once chili sauce was added. Red spicy noodles were spicy and yummy! 5 spice BBQ pork plate was super flavorful, loved this dish! Lychee sake martini just tasted like lychee juice which was great. They also add in 2 lychees to eat/garnish! A good spot, nothing to write home about. Probably wouldn't come back, there was nothing wrong with the place, just nothing exceptional.

You get to customize your soup options with everything from broth, noodles, protein and toppings. And they had something for everyone and were able to accommodate my very specific food preferences and my boyfriend who eats anything. Anthia took the time to add all my allergy concerns into the ticket and helped us through the ordering process as it was my first time here. She was great, and at the ready with refills for our soft drink. The food itself was delicious. We did the edamame and two build your own ramen bowls. My fried tofu was the perfect texture and didn't get soggy sitting in the broth. The flavors were good and they had extra spices available if you wanted to amp up the flavor a little more. Would definitely go again. They do have a bit of a "nerdy" atmosphere with anime on the TVs and some trading cards available. And it gives the street market kind of vibe with the seating. They are an order at the counter establishment, so nice and casual.

Saigon Cafe on Waters Ave. closed, and that was the last place I knew in Savannah that served that exquisite, clear soup. I always get chicken soup (pho ga). The new owners are doing good work, but I'd been spoiled. The broth doesn't have the depth, and it isn't hot enough. It's gotta come smoking, fogging glasses, clearing sinuses. But Boomy's brings the broth. I've been there two or three times, and it's my new pho go-to. The noodles are wider than At Saigon Cafe, but that's fine; they hold their bite longer without getting mushy. Please note: Boomy's is a bar on Congress Street in Downtown Savannah. It's wheelchair accessible and laid back. A Dad out with his two young boys asked if one kid could use the bathroom and was welcomed ... no purchase, no hesitation. And a lady in a wheelchair with her companion and her dog ducked in for a soft drink and a rest. Everyone's welcome. Nothing about its façade or dive-bar vibe suggests it serves bangin' Vietnamese food. Waitstaff is quick to show you the burger menu on the back, in case pho isn't your jam. Because they serve Thai food as well, they're careful to have you choose your heat level. They're happy to give you pepper flakes on the side and Sriracha at the table. But my pho didn't need it. My lunch companion got the rare beef pho. The hot soup came with thin slices of beef wrapping in foil on the side. Drop it in and it cooks. Looked delicious. My pho ga was amazing. I rarely can eat it all, but I did that day. My only minor complaint is that the bean sprouts looked a little less than fresh, but I'm not a big fan of them in soup anyway. Didn't slow me up one bit. But I AM a big fan of their cucumber and tomato salad. Cukes, chopped tomatoes, grated carrots, and maybe grated radish were all dressed with fish sauce, maybe rice vinegar, and a little sugar. If I'd had some cilantro I would have added it; cilantro is expensive these days. Can't blame them for not including it. It may be available by request. Oh, and try the cocktails. I had the tequila cooler and subbed watermelon vodka for cucumber vodka. So refreshing. Go to Boomy's. Get there on one of the few remaining cool days of spring. Or if you come down with a spring cold. Or if you work downtown in an office meat locker, go to warm up from the inside out. It's worth the hunt for parking.
