Was in Savannah for the day as a day trip and we ended up at this restaurant after the original one we wanted was fully booked out. Honestly worked out since we were all super hungry at this point and the food came out so fast. The servers were very attentive and took our orders quick as well. I got the tarot boba milk tea and it was frozen which I was not expecting - but it was a refreshing sweet treat. I would definitely recommend getting a boba. I got the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and it was pretty average! Honestly no complaints, it came with veggies and a good portion of chicken. The chicken did taste a little greasy though would be my only note. We also went at 5pm so it wasn't that busy, but as we were leaving around an hour and a half later, the place had filled up. Yummy! Came here on a Friday evening and was seated right away. I was so happy to see vegetarian sushi and food options on the menu. I ordered the Oglethorpe roll and edamame salad (no almonds). Both were really delicious and filling. The sushi was definitely my favorite. They did a great job with the ingredient combo. My friend for the seaweed salad and it was much bigger than we expected. She also got a sushi roll, not pictured. I lucked up on parking on a nearby street around the corner. We were so excited to try this restaurant! We were able to find street parking so close to the restaurant. We were shocked since it was a Saturday night! As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us and we requested a booth and she sat us down in one! Our waitress was so kind and attentive! Stumbled upon this place with my husband, two other couples & one 18 month old on a Wednesday night after attending an event downtown. Lots of seating, with an open kitchen concept. I thought the food was average, as I think there are better, similar locations downtown, but the rest of the group raved about their choices! Less puréed edamame and more large edamame pieces. I'd definitely recommend them. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki. The portion size is large. The steamed rice was nice and a sticky! Lots of chicken and veggies. The sauce was good, but not a sweet teriyaki. It didn't have a soy based taste, but kind of a curry spice to it. My favorite part of the meal was the iced kiwi green tea. This is a relatively quick place to stop for food, and it wasn't that busy when we went, but I wasn't super impressed with the food. The dumplings were probably the best thing I had here. I also tried the spring rolls, but they tasted too fried to me and had a greasy taste to them. So, I loved the vibe in this restaurant. I sat facing the window on a solo date and my waitress (whose also the host) was kind and attentive. I ordered the veggie Pad Thai but with only broccoli and bean sprouts extra spicy and the flavor was good for me, but, they just didn't understand I wanted my bean sprouts cooked with the pad Thai. I like to pair textures and tastes so I'm always adding the fried dumplings for the crunch and the sushi for the coolness with the bite. The dumplings were so burnt that it changed the taste of the meat because the inside was burnt as well. I took her advice and got the Ellis Roll and only had one piece then I realized it was a bad idea. I didn't like anything about it and the flavor was non existent. After the tip I spent a little over $40 and even though I took it to go I didn't eat any of it afterwards so I feel like I wasted my money. In my humble opinion when you have a restaurant named Fire Street Food then you touch the best of the Asian Culture. I didn't see that here with the menu and I didn't taste it either. read more

Fire is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. It is easy and casual fare. But most importantly the food is delicious! It is located on Bull street directly on a square. So yes, you will need to pay for parking depending on the day and time you decide to visit. When you park check the parking meter! It will tell you the days and hours for which you will need to pay. The restaurant itself is right across from McDonough's another Savannah favorite. It's also a right around the corner from Gallery Espresso. The food at Fire is always consistent. I love the yellow curry with chicken. It is flavorful and filling! You get a lot of food with the dish. Their pad thai is a classic as well. The sushi and fresh rolls are yummy too! There is a nay unfortunately. The bubble teas I can not suggest. I have tried them on multiple occasions. I have found them to be very icy(chunks of ice) and incredibly sweet. This is even after me asking for less sweetener and for the drink to be double blended. Also I love taro. But the taro they seem to use it very sparsely. Because every time I've ordered the bubble tea it has barely tasted of taro. The service has always been friendly. I generally do to go orders. But every once and a while I will eat in. I have always found the staff to be kind. Your food comes out quickly. The restaurant itself is spacious. There is not much seating outside. But they do have some. Inside the restaurant there is a variety of seating from regular tables, banquets, and hightops. There are two bathrooms inside of Fire, one in the front, and the other in the back. My wife and I are staying at Perry Lane Hotel for a pre-St. Patrick's Day celebration and decided to walk across Drayton Street to Fire Street Food for dinner earlier this evening. The TL;DR version is that we both had fantastic meals and may even return for lunch tomorrow. As we walked in the front door, we were immediately met by the hostess who then escorted us to a nice table along the wall. (I point this out because when we tried to have lunch at a different restaurant earlier today, there was no one at the host/hostess stand, but no less than five people walked by to tell us that someone would be with us "shortly." After the fifth time this happened, we turned around and left.) Shortly after being seated, our server stopped by to ask if we were ready to order. My wife ordered the Gang Leuring (Yellow curry) for $13.95, which consisted of chicken, curry, potatoes, carrots, squash, onions, bamboo shoots, lime leaf, fresh basil, and rice. I ordered the Teriyaki Tofu ($10.95), which in addition to tofu, included carrots, broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, squash, and a choice of steamed or fried rice. (I chose steamed rice.) We also decided to share the Edamame appetizer for $6.95. The Edamame appetizer was brought out to us almost immediately and was delicious covered in garlic salt. A few minutes later we both received our main courses, freshly cooked and delivered still steaming to our table. Everything tasted wonderful.
