This is my second favorite place we have tried in Savannah. Chill vibe with easy esthetic. Not too cold either! The service was exceptional too! The rolls were great and the garlic salt on edamame was amazing. Looking for a quick stop for Linner and this is it

Generally a nice establishment with excellent customer service and modern decor. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the french fries and chicken wing were flavorful and fried enough for a nice crisp but still not over cooked. Fried rice was ok and spring roles were a little over done.

The food and the service were great! The menu isn't overwhelming they keep it simple! The prices are reasonable! Definitely recommend this establishment!

Yummy! Came here on a Friday evening and was seated right away. I was so happy to see vegetarian sushi and food options on the menu. I ordered the Oglethorpe roll and edamame salad (no almonds). Both were really delicious and filling. The sushi was definitely my favorite. They did a great job with the ingredient combo. My friend for the seaweed salad and it was much bigger than we expected. She also got a sushi roll, not pictured. I lucked up on parking on a nearby street around the corner. Also the ambiance was lacking a bit - it's very bright with interesting music and basketball on the screen (interesting). I'll be back, and probably get the same things (lol)

We were so excited to try this restaurant! We were able to find street parking so close to the restaurant. We were shocked since it was a Saturday night! As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us and we requested a booth and she sat us down in one! Our waitress was so kind and attentive! For drinks, I ordered the Taro Bubble Tea and my husband ordered a mango smoothie, we both enjoyed our drinks because they felt like a little sweet treat! My husband ordered the teriyaki shrimp and it was delicious and tasty! I ordered the fire house spicy wrap and it was good, but I had to eat it as a bowl because my wrap fell apart on me! It also came with a great sauce! They have many different tables and TVs all around. If you are looking for a quick bite, I would suggest coming here!

Stumbled upon this place with my husband, two other couples & one 18 month old on a Wednesday night after attending an event downtown. Lots of seating, with an open kitchen concept. I thought the food was average, as I think there are better, similar locations downtown, but the rest of the group raved about their choices! Amongst the crowd favorites were: Pad Thai w Shrimp, Yellow Curry, Savannah Roll and Edamame. Close seconds were: Pad Thai w Chicken, Telfair Roll & Prime Burger. Portions were generous & the menu provided options for all palates. Staff was friendly - although they started deep cleaning with bleach as we were paying, so that quickly moved us out the door towards the end. Would be back if ever with others who wanted to dine again.

I typically get the crispy chicken sandwich (because it's so delicious) but today I switched it up! I started with the edamame dumplings. They come fried, the filling is delicious. Less puréed edamame and more large edamame pieces. I'd definitely recommend them. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki. The portion size is large. The steamed rice was nice and a sticky! Lots of chicken and veggies. The sauce was good, but not a sweet teriyaki. It didn't have a soy based taste, but kind of a curry spice to it. My favorite part of the meal was the iced kiwi green tea. O.M.G. I could drink buckets of it! A mild green tea exploding with a sweet kiwi flavor. It was so delicious! Overall the service is quick & the place has a c friendly vibe.

Fast service, friendly staff and very low music. Food was good , the pad Thai was a little drowned in sauce but overall flavor was ok. Gyozas were delicious

Seared Salmon - Salmon tossed in a lemon curry sauce with thin egg noodles, mixed veggies

Four stars for getting a wide variety of foods right. Service is friendly and quick, but the real winner here is the menu selection. Soup, noodles, salads, sandwiches (that include one of the best burgers ever), "street eats", sushi rolls, and more. For dinner one night I had the Seared Salmon - Salmon tossed in a lemon curry sauce with thin egg noodles, mixed veggies. It was very satisfying and the Philly Roll - Smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, sesame seeds, I ordered on the "side" was the perfect end to a long hot day. I tried the Fig Bliss - sake, plum, fig - as well and though it was enjoyable I probably would not have it again. The place isn't that big. It isn't that fancy. The presentation is close to that of a diner. In the end it is kind of a strange mix of feel that somehow comes together for a great experience.

This is a relatively quick place to stop for food, and it wasn't that busy when we went, but I wasn't super impressed with the food. The dumplings were probably the best thing I had here. I also tried the spring rolls, but they tasted too fried to me and had a greasy taste to them. I also had the chicken teriyaki, which was a large portion, but I didn't really like the flavor of it; it didn't taste like what I'm used to with teriyaki. Maybe I ordered wrong but I probably wouldn't stop by here again.

I would've never thought that the best pad Thai that I would have in the United States of America would be in Savannah, Georgia. We stumbled upon a fire street food from a recommendation from a friend while we are in town. It was 10 out of 10. I got the pad Thai and the spider roll and it was delicious. A friend of mine had the snapper. He said it was delicious someone else had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki also delicious my husband got a fish sandwich. Also delicious everything on the menu that we ordered 10 out of 10 would recommend I'd go back. The service was not as good as the food, but luckily the food outweighed that .

The best-priced out of the eel and the chef family of restaurants. It's not a fancy spot or even a cool looking spot but it works. Everything was GREAT. Service was not too bad. Telfair roll which was delicious. I wanted to order another one but had to resist. The tuna Tataki was a great starter. Fresh and flavorful and my hubby enjoyed the curry shrimp so much he forgot to save me a bite. If you like asian food this is a great spot. My only downfall is that the menu is limiting. Not many options but everything I tried was delicious.

Worst Teriyaki Chicken I have ever eaten. Chicken in Tuk Tuk noodles also had terrible flavor. Waste of money.

Bad service. Uncooked potatoes in curry dish. Hole in the wall with no ambience. Were extremely hungry and found dish inedible.

10/10 - A Must-Stop Every Time I've been coming here ever…read moresince I was little, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

This place has gone from amazing local food with a South African twist to complete commercialized…read moregarbage. Local Savannah foodie pages have been saying the same thing for years. Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.
