The blister I got when sauce container broke spilling boiling hot liquid all over my hand
Leah G.

Not the place to eat. Not only was sauce taste less, the rice hard and the chicken soaked in Grease. Thee sauce top was sealed to the styrofoam container. When I tried to open it and it didn't open the bottom of the container broke open spilled scalding hot sauce all over my hand. I now have a blister on my ring finger. Seriously not impressed with this place. The egg rolls were good

New to Nashville area and exploring the Chinese delivery options. I'm originally from the San Francisco area, so I'm fairly picky and haven't been satisfied with other locations. This was a very affordable option with large portions, easy online ordering, and delivery available. This could easily feed four for only about $40. Received my food within 40 minutes and tipped generously because restaurant workers deserve it! I will definitely order again.

Steamboys isn't exactly 3 stars but it's definitely not a 4, it's more like a 3.5…read more My husband was wanting soup dumplings really bad and most places don't offer this food item because of how long it takes to make. He was really excited to go so we made a 30 minute drive to load up on some dumplings. My first impression was that the place was clean and bright with lots of seating. We were greeted nicely and we sat down to discuss what we wanted before ordering at the register. Disney music played on the speakers the entire time and even me, a Disney-adult, I was over it after having to hear Let it Go twice in a row. We ordered quite the spread: one beef gua bao, one order of chicken & cabbage handcrafted dumplings, one pork belly rice, one chicken gua bao, one zha jiang noodles, soup dumplings, and Thai iced tea, and one jasmine milk tea. In total, with tax and tip, we spent nearly $75. Now, we wouldn't stick our nose up to spending our hard-earned money to get our grub on, however, we felt like we didn't get our money's worth here. The food was just okay. My favorite thing was the beef gua bao and I would absolutely get that one again. The Thai tea was delicious, and the chicken and cabbage dumplings were decent. My husband surprisingly loved the chicken gua bao the most and I really enjoyed it, too. But for the more expensive items like the noodles and rice bowl, they were *fine.* My rice barely had any sauce on them and minimal pieces of pork belly. The soup dumplings, though prepared nicely, were not very flavorful at all. The jasmine milk tea? Probably the worst I've ever had. My husband liked his noodles but I was not crazy about them, they had a very greasy texture to them and the mouth feel was like I was so thirsty at the mechanic that I took a swig of their synthetic motor oil. Now I will say that the employees here are very nice and they bring the food out to you as the dishes are made. Overall, I wasn't impressed with Steamboys except for their beef gua bao and Thai tea. The price didn't match the flavor for the entire meal, so we won't be going back. Service: 10/10 Food: 5/10 (the gua baos and Thai tea are the best) Drinks: 7/10

The inside goes beyond your typical neighborhood Chinese spot, with grand décor that sets the mood. The staff is always friendly and even brings out complimentary kimchi and peanuts to start. Their combo prices are incredibly fair (around $20), and each one comes loaded with fresh veggies, ramen noodles, and fish balls. The sauce bar is next level too, with fresh cilantro and green onion, sesame sauce, and chili oil, all ready to be mixed to your taste. Whenever soup season hits (and it's coming up), I instantly start craving their spicy hot pot beef combo!!

I loved this place and got quite inebriated while I was loving it so much…read more Good news is that I walked here from my hotel room and could just walk back. Now... if only I could remember where I am staying. LOL. Just kidding! I made it. I got so lit in Japanese whiskey flights that I ordered enough food for two people. The "Flight to Tokyo" lived up to its namesake tremendously. That dang whiskey is wicked man. Combined with the beers that go down like water and you may be like me.... Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! I had some here and they were sure tasty!! I also had some killer crispy fried pork belly and some kick ass twice fried Korean wings!! Pork belly had tremendous umami flavors and was sticky sweet and yummy all at once! Loved it! But then came the Star.... I love chicken wings as much as I love life! That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. I walked through downtown Nashville alone, on a random weeknight, just to eat these wings because I saw them on Yelp. I had already eaten dinner at Eddie V's earlier in the evening, but these wings called me from more than a mile away... Come eat me, Adam.... Is all I could hear after I saw others pictures of the wings.... Shhhh. Wings. I can't. But you must, said the wings.... I can't, I have no transportation.... You have two feet still, the wings said... Guess who won that argument? '26 - 23

Hawkers was such a great experience from start to finish! I came in on a Wednesday evening around…read more7:30 p.m., and even though the restaurant was busy, my party was seated right away. The ambience is bright and energetic, with fun neon signs and decor. The space feels open and spacious with plenty of seating. We started our night with the Pork Belly Bao Buns, but since they were out of pork belly, we tried the Chinese BBQ Pork instead. I wasn't upset because they were phenomenal. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)
