It's just a little food stand with a limited menu but I thought since the Superba restaurant was good, I'd grab something to go. Guy at the food window was nice and they have a little charity system that is cool, so I gave an extra star but omg this dish was so bad. This rating is only for the grain bowl bc I didn't try anything else, but should have checked the reviews for it prior. The rice tasted old, the avocado was nasty, a barely cooked egg...it was like they put everything that they were going to toss out later that day into a bowl. The dressing was good but honestly the dish was so bad I ate a few bites and just tossed it in the green bin. :(

    $7.07 iced coffee
    Persis R.

Stopped by this afternoon to grab a large iced coffee from this tiny shack next to Pitfire Pizza. When I got my drink, I had to double-check if I accidentally ordered a thimble of coffee--it was the size of a small, but I was charged $7.07. For that price, I expected either a full-size drink or at least a personal TED Talk with my caffeine. The coffee itself? Just alright. Nothing bad, but definitely not worth a $7+ hit to the wallet. Honestly, I could've walked into 7-11, paid half the price, and left with more coffee and change for a scratcher. (7-11, 7-11, seven, even--back door Little Joe, you know the vibe.) Final thought: this place is literally a hole in the wall, and unfortunately, the prices feel like they're trying to tunnel through your bank account. Wouldn't go back.

Almond Butter & Coco Nibs with honey

Only reason why this place doesn't get 5 stars from me is because of the location. Otherwise I liked the signature toast that I chose. It was almond butter, coconut nibs, and honey. That combination on a slice of freshly baked crispy bread was a treat to start the morning. Service is fast. Ambiance is sitting on a busy street corner in North Hollywood with limited parking options available. Overall great on the go snack or breakfast stop.

    Ricotta+Jam Toast

I stopped by the Hollywood branch today to grab a quick bite and it was good! The place was off the corner of a street with only a few tables and seats which is convenient. I got ricotta+jam toast (which was 7.5) and the matcha latte. I really loved the toast that I got as it had slices of pear on it, which I absolutely love. The service took around 15 minutes to make a slice of toast and a small matcha (with one person in line in front of me), and the lady who took my order was a little snappy. However, the food was amazing and made up for the okay service.

    Kouign Amann

Ayo!!! Once again on the hunt for the best Kouign Amann in LA. This review is strictly for the KA. I'm giving Superba a 3 out if 5 stars for them. It was Mid for me, bottom was not crisp but just sticky like a sticky bun. Other than that i'll give them an overall rating 4/5. Wait staff was friendly. Street Parking, Accepts Cards. Too go type of place only.

I've been wanting to try this place since I see many people buy from this place. I got the breakfast sandwich and caramel milkshake. From the price of the menu, I thought I was getting a great deal because things seemed "cheaper". But the portion size of the items are small! So after being hungry and ordering and receiving small items, I felt disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was just okay, didn't have too much flavor to it. I also think the egg is not a proper egg, and very very little bacon. The milkshake was good but super strong caramel flavor. Sad to say, but I went and got more food elsewhere.

    Breakfast Burrito

Always pass by this place so decided to try it out got the breakfast burrito! The customer service was pretty poor and the lady didn't even ask if I wanted a receipt before finish our transaction but the food was tasty so would return just for that. Will maybe check out dining in next time since I did pick up at the window.

I have been passing by this place for months now and finally got a chance to stop by. Parking was-hard to find but I managed. I got a plain croissant which was pretty good and a cup of cappuccino. They have a good selection of pastries and coffee. Outdoor seating only, few tables and chairs. Not a place where you can sit for a while to study or work more like a quick break kind of place. It's on the corner of a very busy and loud intersection. Customer service needs improvement. ....

Ask the Community - Superba Snacks + Coffee

    Is outside seating currently available?

I believe it is. The hours are only until 3pm, but it seems that you can sit and eat. I've waited for food to go and watched another group eat so yes is my answer.

Do you have a your own parking lot or only street parking?

Hi there! We do not have our own lot but there is a public lot behind us on Magnolia that has 2 hour and all day parking. There is street parking as well. I hope this helps!… Read more

The croissant was even flakier and the inside layers were still slightly soft and just perfect, even the day after! Deeelicious! HAM & GRUYÈRE CROISSANT (Butter croissant rolled with slices of ham and Gruyère cheese) It was good, wish there was there was more ham & gruyère inside. Nonetheless, the croissant was the star! It was flaky, buttery, crispy perfection! Having said that, get the butter croissant instead! TRIPLE PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Deliciously dark chocolatey! Flaky, buttery, crispy croissant, what more could you want? Loved it with a cup of coffee! Better when you toast in the oven! ORANGE BLOSSOM ALMOND CROISSANT (Crispy twice baked croissant filled with light and silky almond cream studded with bright candied orange pieces, and a smooth, floral orange blossom pastry cream) Flaky, crispy croissant with beautifully floral, full orange blossom flavor! This croissant was beautifully done! I haven't had a pastry that honored orange blossom like this! The almond cream comes through alongside the orange blossom, which complemented each other wonderfully! I love elevated croissants like this! It makes me happy to come to Fondry, knowing they can deliver on all their baked goods! PASSIONFRUIT CROIFFIN (Croissant x Muffin; filled with bright, tangy passionfruit curd, and tart, bouncy passionfruit jelly, topped with a very vanilla chantilly cream) They did not hold back! This was a passionfruit flavor bomb! Sooo good! They did not hold back! The croffin was crispy outside and flaky soft inside. The passionfruit curd was flowing out of the croiffin as you cut it open! Passionfruit heaven! The vanilla chantilly cream was also excellent in flavor! It was so good, I went back to get another! TOFU CLOUD CROISSANT TOAST (Crisp and sweet miso honey butter toasted croissant topped with a cloud-like sweet tofu cream) Crispy, crunchy, deliciously toasted croissant. Can taste the miso and the croissant tasted like burnt caramel. The tofu cream was fluffy and sweet, like whipped cream, but fluffier! The bottom layer tasted like almond frangipane. Such a delight to eat! I regretted not getting a second one! Beautifully done! BLACK SESAME PARISIAN FLAN Not good. Tart was crispy on the outer layers, but underside was soft. The black sesame flavor was there, but it was a muddled flavor, not a clean toasted black sesame flavor. The flan texture was a bit gummy and a bit dense too. FYI: There were some brunch items you can order in person before 11:00am. ONLINE ORDER Encouraged to order online and order in advance if you want specific pastries. I went in person to order on Wednesday morning. There was no line. CUSTOMER SERVICE Smiling and friendly, helpful and welcoming! Staff was amazing and it felt as though you were walking into your neighborhood bakery! My second visit at Fondry has been even better than the first time! PARKING As always parking is sparse on their lot. Come on a weekday if possible and before 11:00am if you want to grab a parking spot on their lot. Came on a Wednesday at 10:30am.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
