I'm actually very excited that a superba is in the valley! I absolutely LOVE their coffee! I get an iced almond milk latte and it is so good. The coffee is strong and the milk is like sort of sweet ish which makes this latte perfect! When I first tried it, they made my drink wrong (hot instead of iced) and they gave me a free drink for next time for waiting! Some very good customer service there! FOOD: I also have gotten their churro croissant which is THE BEST! It has cinnamon pastry cream inside (heads up if you're not into that) that is so so good! I've had it once before and couldn't figure out which coffee shop had this specific churro croissant with the cream in it.... But finally I've found it again!! Lol. Definitely a must try! Another favorite here is their breakfast burrito. It is giant and only $8 when other places charge 10/11$! So it's for sure worth it. It was so fresh and yummy I could eat it every day! Okay, the absolute BEST part of this burrito is that they put a crispy layer of cheese on the bottom of it. This makes all the difference! Omg, its so good!!! LASTLY: Overall, I really love this place. It's a 10/10 for me (coffee, customer service, and food wise). The only downfall to this place is that it is located on a busy street. So it's not ideal to sit outside and work. But it is great to grab some coffee and breakfast before your day! read more

While COVID has changed quite a lot of things for most businesses, this location is already arranged well for pickup. Why only 4 stars? There is a small amount of seating when COVID permits. Being located on the corner of a busy intersection creates a consistently loud environment and usually creates interactions with whoever happens to be walking by. In addition, parking for this location is usually difficult to find and awkward being right on the edge of a busy intersection. The coffee and matcha is consistently great and I generally plan on swinging through this location if I'm not looking for somewhere to sit. read more

This place is great . So many inventive pastries and different kinds of food . I've come a few times and haven't been disappointed. I've tried the Gibraltar , maple scone, poptart ( try this please it's sooooo delicious) and the madeleines . Everything tastes so fresh and clean as if it doesn't have a lot of unnecessary preservatives or additives. The price , isn't so bad either comparable to the neighborhood. They coffee was mediocre, more so because it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff to ask for simple things like sugar. They serve you through a small window, that I had to lean into to talk. My boyfriend brought me home a latte from here and it was delicious. Their avocado toast is the best I've ever had and we will definitely be back. A quaint little spot on the corner that is pretty hard to miss because it is bright yellow. I live in the area so it did not take me long to discover. Wow! First time here - ordered online for pickup. Process was seamless which is always appreciated. The breakfast sandwich just knocked me out - it's SO good. The bun is I think brioche? This was my first time visiting a Superba but I've had their pastries at other local coffee shops. This location is a cute bright yellow & white walk up located directly on the corner of Magnolia and Lankershim. There's a paid parking lot a little down the ways on Magnolia but I parked at a 4 hr meter close to the Federal building & walked over. The service was great, everyone was friendly and patient. There isn't any indoor seating since it's a walk up but thanks to lovely CA weather, grabbing a seat in the front isn't a prob. They offer an assortment of pastries, coffee, matcha, wellness shots & a small lunch menu. We opted for their seasonal pumpkin pop tart but next time we may try the avocado toast and grain bowl. Great coffee and nice staff but the freaking WORST GRAIN BOWL I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! The grain bowl contains rice, egg, broccoli, kale, carrots, and radish. I added chicken and avocado which costs in total $17. The rice is very cold and hard. The egg and avocado are fine. The broccoli, the kale, the radish, and the carrot are completely raw. The carrots are not even cut, they're like huge pieces. The broccoli is very cold and yellow and not fresh. The chicken is dry and cold. I had to slice the carrots myself, and cook everything myself. I've had their croissants and coffee before, and tried the grain bowl from Pasadena Superba before and enjoyed them very much. But gosh this grain bowl is worse than my 3-min microwaved food. Have to share a very positive experience I had today with Austin. My food from Superba is always very good - This morning, my Uber Eats driver failed to deliver the breakfast burrito I ordered and when I called Austin about it, he was super nice about it and said if I swing by, he'll replace it. Not only did Austin make it right but he also put a couple of extra items in the order. I'll use Grubhub next time but it's unfortunate that Uber and some of these other delivery companies take so much of these restaurants' profits, provide poor service and then in these situations, the restaurant has potentially lost not only the food that wasn't delivered but also lost the revenue and in some cases, could unnecessarily lose a good customer that doesn't realize it was the delivery service (such as Uber Eats). read more

Came across this place on my lunch break and I was really hoping it would be good-- and it is! I noticed that they use 49th parallel espresso beans, which is one of my favorites. They also had an oat milk option which was great. I ordered an iced latte with a little bit of mocha. I love the taste of mocha but often times it gets over powering. Well, even with my request of "little" I thought they put more than I asked for. Other than that, it was pretty good. I would say one of my favorites. They have cute seating in the front, I don't think they have any outlets ( I could be wrong). 4 stars instead of 5 because it was on the higher end of prices. My lattes usually cost $5.50 and it came up to almost $7. I'm assuming it was the oat and mocha additions, but still on the higher end of the price spectrum. Regardless, will be back! read more

The best latte in the NoHo Arts District. Finally, a coffee shop that knows how to execute a latte. I've lived in the area for 7+ years and had to drive out of the area to find a halfway decent latte. Superba is my new place! I've only tried their latte with oat milk and it's alllllmost as good as Blue Bottle, which is a huge compliment. Don't waste your money at Republic of Pie, either Starbucks, or Groundworks. One of the best cafés in North Hollywood! I went here for the first time and ordered a breakfast burrito that was made to perfection. All of the ingredients tasted super fresh and the cashier told me that everything is made from scratch. The burrito also has a bit of grilled cheese on the side of the outside tortilla which is a very nice addition. Also the yogurt dip that comes with it and hot sauce are a superb blend! Superba has been a favorite for us on mornings when we want a quick pick up breakfast with vegan options. If you get avocado toast just ask to hold the butter, and their vegan chocolate chip cookies are some of the best around! I was floored today by their amazing customer service, which is the sole reason I am writing a Yelp review. The world's nicest barista, Tim, went way out of his way to flag me down after he noticed an error was made and I almost accidentally left with something non-vegan.
