Their store website states that they open at 9AM on Sunday. I waited an hour because they opened at 10. I mentioned it to the person who opened the place and she said "no, 10, and I have two people coming so you will have to wait for the next stylist. Seriously? Had a reservation at 2:30pm on 3/31, booked online. I arrived prior 2:30pm, and the worker (one person working there) said that she has a walk-in. She explicitly said this is "first come, first serve" which I told her I made a reservation online and it's not first come, first serve. The first thing you should know is that if you put in your name via their app and select a specific time (which is a time they specifically offer you in the app) it means nothing. I have waited over an hour past my appointment time multiple times. They say that using the app is just putting you on the waitlist in advance. So to adjust for this I try to get there about 15-20min early for my appt and still wait over an hour past my appt time (ie over 1h15m past the time arrived). It is very frustrating. The haircuts range from ok to good... depending on who you get. The people are nice but the process is atrocious and has me thinking seriously about stopping coming here after going to this particular Supercuts for over 30 years (and another Supercuts for 5yrs before that). It doesn't seem worth the hassle any more. read more

It is a no frill place. When I went I saw mostly men getting their hair cut. It would be a place men go. Your $30 cut literally is just hair cut; they do not even blow dry your hair. I walked out with wet hair which is not too big of a deal but unexpected. They currently have a deal where you prepurchase 4 hair cuts for $100 so you save $5 each time. However, you cannot lose the physical card... which is inconvenient. Not too many places have stamp cards these days. I would actually give this place more a 3.5 but the ladies who work there are friendly and the simple haircut I wanted was achieved. read more

Raquel is the one who usually takes care of my hair. When she was on vacation I had to have someone I have never seen before who I believe was new. Her client service was not good and even more so she did not pay attention to anything I wanted. What was going on inside the salon was more important to her than me sitting in the chair! I have been coming to this Supercuts for YEARS. And today was the first time I noticed all new staff and let me just say I have never had a bad experience here until today. Usually the stylists here are patient and try really hard to listen to the client. But today I had a stylist who was so rough. My head was literally getting pulled as she combed my head. I asked for 1 inch off and next thing I know 4 inches of hair was on the ground. I tried to explain to her that it was a lot shorter then I wanted but then she argued back that it wasn't even that short. By the end of the session I just wanted to cry because I was so unhappy. Please DO NOT come to this Supercuts. You will leave disappointed cuz I sure did. Update: went back in to get it fixed cuz I was so upset by how uneven it was. I just want to give a shout-out to Megan for fixing it. After crying in her chair & profusely apologizing because I never want to be THAT customer. This review is for January 2020. TL;DR: was unhappy with my Supercuts haircut I got at a nearby location, came here, and they fixed it and I LOVED it! My first time at a Supercuts was at another nearby Supercuts location two days before going to this Supercuts location. I decided to go to the other Supercuts location because it was slightly closer to me, despite having worse reviews and fewer reviews. I wish I had just gone to this Supercuts, which had more reviews and better reviews, but alas I was lazy and thought the quality would be generally the same anyway. I was wrong. I ended up being very unhappy with my haircut because I am not good at being assertive and speaking up for myself, and because the hairdresser I got at the other location was pushy and didn't listen when I did try to ask her to adjust the haircut. After a couple of days of not liking my initial haircut, I decided to try out this Supercuts. I figured even if I had to pay full price for a haircut all over again, it would be worth it if I was happy with my cut. I explained to them that I went to another Supercuts and was not happy with my haircut.They asked me which Supercuts I went to, and they told me that since the owner is the same, and because I was coming back within 7 days to fix a haircut I'm not happy with, it would be free of charge. Stephany took care of me. I showed her the picture of the haircut I originally wanted, and she made my haircut look great. Seriously. I LOVED it. Stephany, listened to what I wanted, cut my hair super short like I wanted (unlike the hairdresser at the other location...) and I was super happy with the length and the overall look of the cut! I wasn't able to get exactly what I originally wanted because the hairdresser at the other location cut the front of my hair too short for me to get the dramatic angled bob (nothing to do with Stephany's skills). She told me that I could let my hair grow out a bit, and come back next time and she would be able to give me the cut that I wanted. That night, the liquor store at the corner of Allen and Villa in Pasadena, CA was firebombed, and the entire corner strip mall burned to the ground. It was one of the only casualties outside of the city of Los Angeles. After the fire, several tenants did not rebuild; although a lady named Maria opened a barbería the following year... and I have had my hair cut there ever since. Until a couple of Sunday's ago, when I needed to get a haircut for an important meeting, and I knew that Maria was closed on Sundays to spend time with her grandchildren. I called a few other "barber shops" found on Yelp, who each asked if I had an appointment... uh, an appointment? What happened to a walk-in, 5 minutes in the chair with Blade 3, and a little electric work to clean up the Big Lithuanian's neck fur? I finally succumbed to calling Supercuts from a gas station parking lot, and I have to say, overall I was pleased with the outcome. Granted, it wasn't perfectly what I wanted, but in fairness to the (say it, Picante) --stylist-- it was exactly what I communicated to her. I guess 80+ year old Maria and I have just developed an understanding over the last 25 years. Still, felt like I was cheating or something. Ha. Such as life is, I suppose nothing lasts forever, and I can only try to avoid imagining a time when Sra. Maria won't cut my hair anymore; heck, I've known her for more than half my life and call her my "abuelita favorita." But when it happens, I will certainly give Supercuts another shot at the title. They did a nice job on a walk-in creature-of-habit with a penchant for loyalty. read more

I LOVE this salon! I live right across the street, so I have visited frequently. All of the staff are skilled and professional. Supercuts has a Check In process online, and this location also accepts phone calls to get checked in. Sometimes there is a short wait, so I usually check in during busy times, such as weekends. This salon is located in a Strip Mall and has a lot of parking. Prices are very reasonable for all services, which include haircuts, styling, and color. They also sell many great products. This Hair Salon is an EXCELLENT place to get hair cuts for the entire family. They have a punchcard that offers a free haircut after 10 haircuts. I am in the process of moving out of the area, and I wanted to take this opportunity to THANK all the staff at this Supercuts! Honestly this place is so underrated! Their prices can't be beat! My mom and I occasionally come here to get a quick color touch up and they do an amazing job. I was just in to get my gray color retouched and I did a shadow root, deep conditioning and toner only for $80! Amazing service and under 2 hours! Just a tip to call before you walk in and ask how long the wait would be for color specialist to see you... mine was wide open and just walked in after calling! read more

Ok the service was nice but I told the lady. I wanted my hair 1.5 inches long in length in the back and 5 in length on sides 8 on top. She goes straight to the clips. I could have gone to my regular barber for this. Came to supercuts to cut my hair length with scissors . Instead I got the 2010 fade awful. She understood and gave me the cut for free. I wanted my hair mid length from long hair. I did not want a fade. I said scissors she insisted on clips. This is the reason I never go supercuts I learned a lesson again. Show them a picture. She kept talking very nice but I don't think she listened. My barber specializes in fades. I had long hair from covid era she thinks I wanted an old school fade. Please take the time and ask questions clip or no clip. Measure length. One good thing got for free and a return to fix my hair. read more

Haircut was Ok. But the so called "grey blending" was horrific. the color looks very fake, and applied very unevenly- some darker sploches, some lighter, but the result looks like a catastrophe. So It's hit or miss with this place, you either get somebody that has experience and knows what they're doing, or you just get someone who probably would rather be doing something else altogether. So my advice would be to find someone that does a good job and stick with them. it's a bad idea to have someone new cut your hair every time at this place. My main reason for being happy is to simply have my hair evenly cut when I leave. (Hope that's not asking too much) Lastly I have a hard time allowing someone to fix a problem that they didn't even see until it was pointed out. Then I feel like Im gambling if they can even do a good job or not afterwards, because I only have a few inches left at that point.
