So I live a couple of blocks away and my girlfriend works close, so I finally give this place a try. And as I'm sitting waiting, all the staff are Extremely Rude! There was a fire alarm in a shop next door, and the all go running outside not only to see what's going on but to be nosy and chit chat. Then some cars horn at each other out side and the old lady Stops her cut to be nosy again. So I walked out. I've been around their shop long enough to get this bad taste about them. All thw girls are terrible too. The small Latina one thinks She's all that and need to check herself. The old lady needs to get another career. I've been coming to this supercuts for years, but am not too happy this time around. The woman at the front had a bit of an attitude from the moment she spoke to me. OK, maybe it's been a rough day, no big deal. I waited for my turn. When Ms. Franco called me to get my haircut she seemed to be in a complete rush. She only used the machine and I don't remember her picking up the actual scissors. She was already going in to trim the back WHILE she was asking me whether I wanted it rounded or straight in the back. Waiting a few seconds for a response would be a little more appropriate . Also, every other time I've been here, they've used the towel to dab the pieces of hair away from your face. She handed me a hot towel at the end and said "you may want to use this to get the extra hair." I don't understand the rush. There was literally one person there waiting when I was paying to leave. I'm not too happy with the haircut either. I didn't see how messy the top was until I actually got home and I feel like I have to go pay for another haircut to actually feel like I got one. read more

Roxanne is THE BEST. I have tried so many different stylists in my life and have been pretty disappointed many times and I'm so glad and thankful that I found her. The prices are so great compared to what a haircut can go for nowadays. They are pretty busy so you can expect a delay, but it is worth the wait. I walked into SUPERCUTS BH last month in desperate need of a cut. My friend/hairdresser who was cutting my hair for years had moved months earlier. Roxanne took great care of me. She listened to what I said. She told me what she would do before she did it and then again while she did it. She worked quickly, but with great care. She was friendly. She politely asked me about my hair care routine and products, but did not pressure me to buy products I did not want. The man handling the cash was helpful and friendly, too. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Also I have long straight hair. I need a simple long layer cut every four to six months to keep the ends smooth and straight. Nothing fancy or complicated. But the salons I frequent have charged me amazing amounts of money for what used to be called trim. At the same time, my stylists are pressure by their directors to try to add services onto every visit. I have grown tired of it all. This was my first trip to a Supercut. I find the staff here completely nice and friendly and capable despite some complaining about this place. I also see customers enter the store in a rush and acting irritable before they even speak to an employee, so maybe you complainers ought to check yourself before calling people names or accusing them of something. Not the greatest customer service. Walked in for a walk in hair trim and they were not very pleasant. *updated and edited* No the front desk did not communicate that to me. I asked to run next door to my office (I happen to leave my CC in my office ) and I would be back in less than 1 minute. The girl acted like I asked her to wait for an hour. This is the second time that Supercuts on Olympic in Beverly Hills have screwed up my hair. First was a trim where they chopped off all my hair and layers and the second time was today with a coloring. I asked for a highlight and was time old that my hair was too damaged for a highlight and would need a coloring instead. I said okay and even,got talked into a conditioning treatment. $110 later and my blonde hair is now yellowish orange. I am going to have to,go have it fixed now because it looks terrible. For $110 I could have gone to a nice salon and have my hair done right. Never again will I go there. read more

You can get a great haircut in Beverly Hills without paying a ridiculous price. This salon is clean and beautiful, and the staff is about being friendly instead of fashionable. I relaxed into a vibrating chair to have my hair shampooed and enjoyed a tea tree oil scalp massage and a hot towel for my face. After the shampoo, I was treated to a complimentary back massage. I came in with my long, overgrown mane pulled back into a ponytail, no photograph - the stylist had to rely on listening to my description of what I wanted. I got a fabulous cut! And, no one tried to sell me any products!!! I felt like I had been to a spa instead of a SuperCuts and the grand total for this luxurious experience was... $29.50! I was so thrilled, I gave the stylist a 50% tip. Skip the hipster salons in Beverly Hills and give this place a try... your wallet and your mirror will be pleased. read more

I've been going to supercuts on and off for decades. On, because when I find a good stylist, I like going back to them. BUT they seem not to stay around too long, and then it's back to lopsided, uneven, ridiculously bad haircuts that I can't stand. So I leave and pay double or triple elsewhere. That is, until I found the Supercuts on Pico in Beverly Hills. It's now closed, but they kept the best people for this location on Olympic. One cutter in particular has been there consistently, and I always go to her. Her name is Patty, and she has worked at "real" salons in the past, and has a lot of experience. She gives me exactly what I want, and if I'm not sure what I want, she works with me to find a nice style, and it always turns out good. She's fast, but not careless. It's proficient, with emphasis on the "PRO". I mean, she really knows how to use her tools. I like that she's patient and straight forward. She even has told me before what works with my face and what doesn't - and she's right! If it weren't for her, I don't know if I would still be going to Supercuts. I'm sure there are others at her shop that are good, but I wouldn't know, because I'm sticking with Patty as long as she's there. Thanks again!!! read more

Good haircut every time. I've been going to this location (and its previous location) for 35 years, and the work is consistently good, regardless of the stylist. They open at 8 am sharp, which means I can get my haircut early without a hassle. Free parking and easy access. I get a $1 off coupon every 5 weeks and it's $2 off on Tuesdays. Make this your consistent place for a haircut, but try to avoid 8 am -- that's mine. read more

I've had my haircut at Supercuts for 45 years and this location (which replaced the one near Pico and Beverly) is just fine. Yes, they've raised the price, but it's still a bargain. I've always had a great experience here. For me, the keys to a good cut and stress-free visit are to bring along a clear photo that shows the stylist what I want, and to always check in online. My hair is fine and thin and I've had them do 3-4 variations of short to medium layered shaggy bobs. In ten or so visits, I haven't had a bad cut. read more

Let me tell you why I went to supercuts tonight. I went because my friend was out of town and I really wanted a haircut. So I go for a $20 cut which legit takes 5 minutes without any attention paid to my needs. I have been hearing so much about Roxanne, but that black woman who works there CERTAINLY is not Roxanne. She gave me a haircut for under 10 minutes and just said "ok ok" without asking any specific questions. This is obvious because when I look in the mirror, I see how simple of a haircut it was. SECONDLY, after I offer her a $1 tip she REFUSES to take it and averts her eyes. Whoever the hell you are, you work at Supercuts; girl you are NOT no DIVA so stop pretending you don't need money. I know just how much you make, my cousin used to work there. IF I ever come back, I am asking for Roxanne and only Roxanne. This girl sucked. I agree to all the other yelpers. I don't know what it is, but getting mumbled and incoherent responses to simple questions like how long is the wait and why didn't you tell me there were others on the list when you told me there was no wait 15 minutes ago is very annoying. If you are dealing with the public, the least you can do is make eye contact, listen to the question and respond in a way that the customer can understand. These people are rude and disinterested. On the other hand the woman who cut my hair was first rate --- too bad the reception desk could use a course in courtesy and customer service. read more

They can tell you wait 20 minutes and then you realize been there 45 minutes and still have no chance of getting a seat.
