I've been going to Supercuts for a while now, and I have to say--Armineh is the reason I keep coming back. She never rushes, takes her time, and you can tell she actually cares about getting it right. She's always smiling, always in a great mood, and just makes the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. That kind of consistency is rare. Like everything else, prices have gone up--at this point even a basic men's haircut here is over $30. It is what it is. That said, the condition of the salons really needs attention. I've noticed this across multiple locations (which seem to share the same owner), and they're honestly pretty run down. Water-stained ceiling tiles, worn countertops, sun-faded and ripped walls and furniture--it all feels very dated and a little uncomfortable. If I were rating Armineh alone, she'd be 5 stars without hesitation. The atmosphere and interior, though, are closer to 2-3 stars. It's a shame, because the people working there--especially Armineh--are doing great work. I just wish the ownership would invest back into the spaces to match the level of service. read more

I wrote a review last year, very happy with Rima or Arminah. However, the salon has changed the shampoo reclining chairs for regular chairs that are short, not flexible, with no massage. I am tall and Rima tries her best but I always get neck pain and my back gets wet from the low chair. read more

Sharing my experience at Supercut Burbank. Very disappointed with the service and skill of Jennifer. First, she made me sit down right after cutting another customer without cleaning or blowing the hair sitting on the chair Her attitude and welcome were terrible.... Then ask me what I was looking for, and my only request was to use scissors to cut the side and back head bottom since I would like to keep my hair long... A few minutes later out of the blue, she started raising her voice at me and came across that I had to let her do her job; explaining to me why she does not want to use the scissor, and immediately told her that usually at other salons they are good with scissors. I also mention to Lilit over the phone if they were okay with cutting my hair with scissors and she said yes, no problem...if she would have said no, I would not have scheduled my appointment.... Idk why it was a big deal. When done cutting my hair in five minutes, Jennifer did not even show me the back of my head or how I want my sideburns to be shaved - Extremely rude attitude... Jennifer probably has personal issues outside of work or problems at work I don't know.... but she needs to stay professional and cut hair either with the scissor or with the trimmer, without attitude!! James is super talented and he works magic with my maturing (AKA rapidly graying/ thinning hair ) James is able to transform my hair into a beautiful healthy hair that lasts for several weeks in between my visits:)! My bangs were all ragged from my cutting them myself the last few months ( I think you can guess why.... sigh) I wanted her to cut the dry because they "shrink up". I have been getting my haircut at this Supercuts ever since I moved to Los Angeles in 2014 and I truly hit the lotto with finding a hairstylist here for an affordable price! This Supercuts is located inside of a shopping center and can be tough to find if you're not familiar with the area but there is plenty of parking to go around, so you shouldn't have an issue :) Since day one, RIMA has cut my hair. She is the sweetest person and always has a smile on her face. RIMA is always full of energy and I really enjoy talking to her each time I get my haircut. She always cuts my hair the way I want it and I haven't had one issue with the final product. Like I said, I haven't gotten my haircut from anyone else that works there but I always see the same stylists, which is a great sign. Usually a chain like Supercuts has a high turnover rate with employees by thankfully that isn't he case here! I highly recommend coming here for a haircut. I am so angry and upset with how downhill this location has gotten. I just a quick trim everytime and I tip and it's been great and quick for almost 20 years straight. This Kenneth guy is the biggest asshole i have ever met. I will continue to trash this place due to how uncomfortable this worker made me. Seriously this place deserves to be taken down or that worker fired. So much attitude like chill the f out dude you are cutting hair. I just wanted my split ends cut out nothing huge and maybe a quick wash but apparently since - per Kenneth's words: had not been there in 10 years- things had changed but he said it in the most rude way possible. Seriously I'd love to call the police to get this place shut down for good. Only go here if you want to leave so angry you want to kill yourself. Horrible place. I visited this Super Cuts and was really disappointed in the cleanliness of the salon. Not only was the waiting area just unkept, when it was my turn, I was seated in a chair that had not even been brushed off from the prior client. My stylists name was Silva. She was not rude, but lacked good customer service skills. The haircut seems to be ok, but it was a last minute needed trim on long hair, so not much was expected. What disgusted me the most was the stylist did not clean her counter or any of her tools from the previous client. She tapped off hair from her thinning sheers and used them on me. As well as the same comb and uncleaned scissors. Its been many several years since I have gotten my hair professionally done, but I know enough that this is UNACCEPTABLE! There was just no sanitary precautions being taken in this salon. Went home and showered immediately! Hopefully no one before had lice or chance of staph infections! I will not be back to this salon!!! read more

I am so glad to have found this particular Supercuts. For over a year I have been getting my haircuts at this location and always get a great haircut and great service. Everyone is friendly and attentive. I make an appointment in advance and I am immediately seated. I have also been lucky to find James to cut my hair at this location. Every haircut has been exactly what I have asked for. Another time I brought him a photo and over time he was able to get me the same look. James is easy to talk to and if you need help finding the best cut, he has great advice. A super nice guy! I don't usually go to Super cuts and this was exactly a reminder why. Their customer service is horrendous! Why would you snap at a potential customer? Let's start by saying I have gone to many very expensive salons before and not received the quality of service and caring , like I have from Diane. I have the thickest hair on the planet and a lot of it. However , she cuts it so well and really knows her clients. She listens and cares. For the amount of people who go through it amazes me that Diane remembers something I did or said 6 months back. When my father passed she was very compassionate. My advice: PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE I have been using Supercuts to wash my hair for the last (almost) 7 years because I am disabled. I decided today that my wrist was in too much pain to wash my own hair so I hobbled my crutch-using self to this location as Studio City had a long wait time. I primarily go to SC but have gone to this location 10 or more times. When I arrived, there were no customers and 2 available stylists so there was no wait. I asked her to wash it once with tea tree and once with the super moisture shampoo and she told me that they only wash once. I explained nicely that I have been to Supercuts more than 100 times in over 6 years and no one has ever said they only wash once. Her response was to tell me "not when we have a lot of customers" but there were zero people waiting. She went to the front and was talking to the woman at the register and after I made my way over, I repeated what I had told the first woman. Rather than listening to the customer and spending 2 minutes and 30 cents on a second wash, they just dismissed me and I left. I should add that the SAME EXACT woman has washed my hair at this location twice before and both times washed it two times without saying a word other than to try and sell me a bunch of products and services I didn't want. I never overly enjoyed this location because of their pushy sales but in a pinch would go here when the other location was busy. I ended up going to Great Clips in Burbank and they were great so I will definitely not be going back here. I'm happy to take my typical 60% tip to somewhere that treats people right. Way to treat long time, regular customers (especially obviously disabled ones). AVOID! There's a reason they have no wait and Studio City does. read more

The stylist freshened up my layers nicely, and my hair no longer feels like straw at the ends (I'd gone waaaaay too long without a haircut, my bad). She was also really nice, which I didn't expect since I came in so close to closing. If you need a cheap and cheerful trim, this is the place. I'm lazy about haircuts--I'm married, so who the fuck am I impressing? I used to come here because of the ample parking and Del Taco, but during my last visit the woman cutting my hair must've been half-asleep because when I got home, my wife pointed out my fucked-up haircut and the long strands hanging around my ears that this lady completely missed, AS WELL AS the uneven cut of my neckline--I asked for rounded, what I got was a zigzag, or stairs. It was partly my fault--I got so used to coming and going here over the years, that I didn't check the back with a mirror before leaving this time. THAT'S ON ME. So I went back, and when the same woman who botched my hair offered to fix it, I laughed in her face and requested someone else. The nice lady who ended up correcting her co-worker's mistakes did the best she could, but since Madam Shithead did such a terrible job on my neckline, this woman had no choice but to to cut it higher up to even it out--so now my neckline is almost to the back of my head, the skin a pale white strip. I ended up walking out of there looking like I just had neck surgery. THERE'S A HAPPY ENDING TO THIS STORY--I care about my hair now, and looking good for my wife. Thanks Shitcuts! I'll finish my review with these parting words: I hope a sinkhole swallows this goddamn location.
