My sister was having a rough week, looking like a matty rat, hiding under a hoodie the entire time... she desperately needed a nice wash, blow out and trim... we decided on Super Cuts and ~Patty~ helped us. I have been here multiple times and never had any issue. A couple weeks ago I went to get a haircut the manager of that location cut my hair she was the I my one there Maria. First she didn't even show me the cut once I was done, I got hone and could tell right away it was crooked and she went much shorter then I had ask her to cut. We came on New Years Eve without an appointment and the ladies accommodated us. My boyfriend showed a picture to the hair stylist Maria and she was able to cut it the way he wanted. She was nice and tried to have small talk in the beginning but it naturally got quiet cause she became very focused on trimming his hair. She even put some products on and used the blow dryer to get the tiny hair off his neck/shoulders. Overall great experience with Maria for men's haircut. The price is reasonable too. If you come here often, you should get a stamp card. This location is conveniently next to Starbuck so I got a drink and used their wifi while waiting for my bf to finish his haircut. read more

Tonya (I hope I spelled your name right) is amazing! I visited from LA to visit my dad and I rarely go out now especially because of the pandemic, so I have long awaited a haircut. I usually dread asking for hair stylists to cut my hair because most of the time they misunderstand or don't really care; but holy cow Tonya is a rockstar! She's very patient and helped note down the custom haircut I got so I don't sound confused to future hair stylists, so thumbs up for that. If I could, I would love for her to relocate to LA just so I don't have to think I have to drive back and forth for a great haircut. Keep up the great work Tonya! Will get one star because they "tried" to see as soon as I called stating that there was no wait. I get there and there's 2 hairstylist one with a customer. The other took my info and all I needed was to have my hair flat ironed. Then I was told that there's a 30 min wait the other hairstylist doesn't flat iron, then she proceeds and answers a call telling that customer there is I no wait come on in. So they have a "hairstylist" that can't flat iron but can do other "styles/haircuts" yeah time for me to leave before a disaster happens read more

Disappointed and we feel like we got ripped-off. Don't know her name but she acted unhappy right from the beginning. Said she would layer our son's hair up top to add volume, and trim the bottom. Sounded good, but I watched her literally trim a little off the bottom, and fluff up the top with her hands never taking scissors or anything else to any part of his hair other than the trimming of a few inches off the bottom. Don't waste your time. We went in at 10am in the morning and was told the wait is an hour and a half. No biggie, they had an opening at 3pm so I scheduled my time there. Came in a bit early and checked in and was told that I was next in line. However, two other guests do a walk-in and get seated before me! This is after me sitting around for 45 minutes! Martha walks up to the register and grabs another lady, and that's when I stood up to see what's going on. I usually insist on seeing my regular hair person. She was out recently with an injury and came back part-time. She's completely lost her touch. I asked her to cut my hair a specific way, and instead she gave me the Dudley Moore. She kept playing with it, cutting it shorter, telling me she had to blend it and cut off the dead hair. Um, no she didn't. Hair is really important. It's the frame for my face. She cut my frame I specifically, and habitually tell her not to. She usually respects that. It looks terrible. In my case, she cut off my favorite part, and even with styling it looks worse. In this case some split ends would have been better than no ends. She waaaaay over did it. This means I'm going to have to go to someone else to try and fix it, or cover it up for the next six months until it grows out. I'm pretty upset, all I wanted her to cut was the back for some shape. read more

I came in on Friday June 3rd around 11am... I sat in who I believe to be Elena's chair. I told her I'd like a trim to my collar bone and also showed her with my hands where I meant. She shampooed me, combed my hair and began cutting from the back. She didn't measure or double check her starting guide. The worst part was that she kept pushing my head down further than felt natural. She spoke to me like a child and said, "you have to keep your head down at all times." I told her my neck was hurting and she laughed it off with an uncomfortable giggle, and continued to push my head down. She was also scraping my neck over and over with her comb which felt painful. When she turned me around to the mirror (at the very end of the cut), my hair was well above my shoulders. The cut isn't bad, but it's clearly not what I asked for. And that's unacceptable. I suggest she go back to the fundamentals. She needs to listen carefully to her clients, no matter how rushed. She also needs to respect how they feel physically. A haircut should never hurt. read more

Went in at opening, put my name on the list. Was told it would be an hour wait. I left to run errands, and came back after about 45 minutes. I was told I was next in line. Awesome! It was still another 45 minute wait. Only two stylists. It happens. A woman who was in line after me got very angry because it was a long wait. She threw attitude at the receptionist, who I felt bad for, and left. The manager went after the lady. Manager and lady came back in. Manager put the kid in the chair ahead of me. Now if the manager had asked, I might've said it was ok. Nope. Didn't ask. Just pushed me back. Pushed back another gentleman who was waiting. Didn't ask, didn't even acknowledge either of us. Just gave in to the complaining woman because she threw a fit. The gentleman walked out. I walked out. Will not be going back to this location. I would not suggest this place to anyone. They lost two commissions because a woman threw a fit and they gave in. read more

The Supercuts off of Olympic parkway is okay, but my favorite hair dressers are gone. There's only one friendly hairstylist there who was actually from the Eastlake location and she is friendly. First and last time. Had a bad feeling when she led me to a chair that was dirty. Said she had to rinse my hair and then let all the water run down my back. The length is fine, exactly what I wanted though I did have to fix some myself. She didn't pull it down on each side to make sure they matched. The layers look really bad and stick out all over the place. Asked for my bangs to frame my face at an angle and she cut a chuck, moved down cut another chunk. It's not at an angle. More like upside down stairs. Very disappointed and I was unable to tell it was even like that bc she sent me out with soaking wet hair and pieces of cut hair on my face. I asked for a trim with long layers and it looks like my hair was half and half, she gave me a short layer and then left the rest of the hair long and I look like John Lennon so please do yourself a favor and get someone who knows how to cut curly hair. read more

Probably my least favorite visit to a Supercuts, and generally I am a fan. While the trim went well on my long hair, the tapered long bangs are not tapered. One layer is very short, and everything else is long. Overall, I'm not sure who would find this style appealing, and while it isn't horrible, it certainly is not what I asked for and what we discussed. I'd skip this Supercuts if I were you and try out the one on El Cajon near Adams Ave. read more

Worst haircut I've ever had in years. I came in asking for a low fade, 1/2 length on the side, a little off the top evened out. I got the EXACT opposite. They cut in to the sides to way high, and cut more off the top than I wanted. The lady, Leilani was it? Something like that. She had some stupid bright pink or red hair. Anyway, she leaves the left side longer. I didn't notice this until I got in to the car, so I demanded that she fix it. She assumed that since I parted my hair to the side that it's okay to leave my hair asymmetrical. Who the hell does that? She already did exactly the opposite of what I asked for, and she has the nerve to leave me looking like some teenaged swagfag. Needless to say, she fixed it, but I will not come back here, and I will tell my friends and family to not go here for their haircuts. Low means LOW, not medium, not regular, not high. LOW, you stupid woman. A little off the top doesn't mean a whole chunk of my hair off. Don't fucking leave people's hair longer on one side without fucking asking. Do your job properly. Supercuts is already overpriced for what it is. Don't ruin people's hair. You went to school for this shit. You get paid to do this. Cut hair properly. I will never come back to this Supercuts again.
