I have been going to this location for a very long time. Recently the quality of the cuts have been going down while the prices kept climbing higher, but they have finally lost me and my entire family as customers. They have implemented a new "reservation" system online, so I made my reservation and headed over. Some guy cut me off in the parking lot, then parked so close to me that I almost had to get out on my passenger side. when I got out of my car and into the waiting area the guy was there. I waited 20 minutes for my reservation time, and then stylist Waba starts to take the walk-in bad parking dude. I objected and said I had a reservation...this seemed to short circuit everyone's brain. douche dude keeps walking to the styling chair. I told them to forget me and walked out, even as they called my name over and over. A complaint to corporate has not gotten a response, so clearly this business does not care about me as a customer. I hope they have a lot of obnoxious dudes to keep them in businesses. I will go somewhere that treats me with more respect and does not waste my time. read more

I've been going to super cut for most of my adult life and I never had bad experiences especially this bad. Last week I needed to trim my long hair and style it. I went to Supercuts in Encino. It was quiet and a lady took me right away. She was middle aged , heavy set Spanish lady with Long bleached blond hair with bangs. I wanted 1" cut with layers in the back. She cut my hair very short right away, when I tried to tell her she got upset and told me wait until end. So when end came she told me you done and went to cash register right away without giving me mirror to see the back or try to dry the hair to show me how it looked. My hair looked horrible it looked like I cut my hair myself, I didn't want to make a scene I just paid and left. After covering my hair with small scarf for 6 days, Today I went to a hair dresser to fixed the problem. Hair dresser was keep asking me "you sure you went to a hair dresser". I don't know how she got the job, I feel sorry for her customers. I can't say she had grudge on me to cut my hair like that because she didn't know me unless she was high on something. I called store to find out what her name is and I was told her name is Martha, her boss really needs to set downs and talk to her, hay take different profession, or send her back to school. worst customer service ever!!! I literally called the morning of to schedule curls for 4pm and they said ok no problem. I come in at 4pm and the 3 ladies are in there looking at me all confused. none of them have any idea what is going on. I ask how long will it take as it is my birthday and I have a make up appt. they said 20 min. after waiting for 20 min they said they can't do it. leaving me with no other options. I don't come here to write reviews often but I had such a lovely experience that I had to share. I hadn't gotten a haircut in two years and decided to impulsively get one today. I always go to this location and have been doing so for years. Today, I got a haircut along with shampoo and hydration treatment. Suzan explained everything to me and told me what she was doing so I felt reassured. She trimmed my curtain bangs beautifully and gave me some long layers. She was so kind and normally hair salons give me anxiety because they try to sell you things or convince you to get more services but this was very chill and not overbearing at all. There was calm music playing and it was a nice quiet vibe overall. I will definitely be coming back here for my next. I have had Susan cut my hair several times, and she is great; particularly, she is careful not to cut shorter than requested both length and bangs. Unfortunately, I got Dalia today. I brought in a picture showing how long I wanted the hair. I was specific about the ears and back of neck being covered. I showed with my hands how long I needed the cut to be. I realized things had gone wrong when she wanted to shave the back of my neck though I had specifically told her that I wanted all growth on the back of my neck covered. Worst haircut in my life. I will be asking for a full refund this is the worst haircut I've ever had.. I went to get my hair colored and my bangs trimmed by Rosie. I thought she gave me a fabulous haircut I gave her a 25% tip walked out thinking my hair was looking great until I ran my fingers through my hair and felt stubble on my scalp. Concerned I looked in the bathroom mirror and saw that she had literally cut off my hair at the root. My head has a bald spot now and it looks like she shaved me with an electric shaver. I have a big bald patch where my hair used to be in two spots on my head. Concerned I called the salon and they accuse me of lying and making it up and said that my story was a lie unbelievable and there is no way one of their stylists would do this because they are "professionals ". I am still baffled at the accusation of the manager manager that I'm lying As if I would purposely want to ruin my hair to get back a measly $25? I'm not sure what is worse, Customer Service or the haircut the Rosie gave me? I now have a bald patch on my head , and they still have not apologized. I have looked at yelp and seen reviews and if I had seen these reviews prior to going I never would've gone through with the appointment. Rosie also cannot color match or pick a color on her own ;she chose an orange color for my hair and I had to stop her and then she got her manager to help her pick a proper color " not orange" for me because she couldn't do it herself. I should have walked out. II want my money back. I will be calling corporate Monday and asking for a full refund including the tip. You guys can kick rocks this is a horrible place! Do you really think I would purposely make up a story for a lousy 25 bucks I was a happy customer when I walked out because I didn't notice the damage as my bangs were parted and covered up so I couldn't see the patch of missing hair until I got home then I felt my hair as I was running my fingers through it and realized there were something horribly wrong. For me it's the principle of it all in the end I don't care about the money I care about the acknowledgment from the management that Rosie really messed up my hair and I just don't understand how anybody can make such a big mistake. Since I'm not receiving an apology I am asking for my money back. I am fair and I understand people make mistakes nobody's perfect but for the salon to say their stylist will never do such thing and accuse me of lying is mine blowing to me. Have some respect for yourself on up to the mistake and retrain your hairstylist. I have long, red hair. Upon arrival, I ask if we could be as quick as possible. I still need to pack and get funeral attire. I asked for quick as possible - no shampoo or blow dry. She sprayed my hair, trimmed an inch or so, and charged me 25 dollars. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. Fast. A touch up. I was so grateful! I tipped her 10 dollars. I was met with attitude the moment I walked in the door. I showed up on time and mentioned I had an appointment. Both employees said they did not have time to get to it, and the employee knew exactly what I booked without looking into the system. So, there's no reason she couldn't have given me a call before I drove over there if it was going to be an issue. The employee's tone and demeanor made it clear she was irritated I booked a haircut and a blow dry. Life is stressful enough for a lot of people right now, and no one needs the extra tension. I am an understanding person, I know things happen, but I shouldn't be shamed for booking a service at a scheduled time. If there's something wrong with the booking app, again, stuff happens. The rudeness was such a turn off. I wouldn't risk trusting this location with my hair based on this experience. read more

This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back. Cera gave me the best hair cut that I've had in a while. This was the first time going to a hair stylist since COVID started. I was a bit nervous going in, but Cera was reassuring, and everything inside was extremely clean. Also, they are only allowing one customer in at a time. Before she started, I talked to her and showed her a few pictures of what I had in mind. She made a few suggestions, which I welcomed, and the end result was an amazing cut! Martha put the SUPER in Supercuts! My boyfriend started going to get his short hair cut by Martha years ago. Always came home with a great cut and raved about how nice she is. I thought, "Yeah, well, guy hair is a little different than cutting long women's hair." I always went to Allen Edwards and had one of the top people cut my hair for many years and many, many buck$. Mind you, I had tried other Supercuts with disastrous results for my long, absurdly thick and coarse, curly hair. Cue COVID, when no one had a salon haircut in California for over a year. My hair became so unmanageable by the end that I tried giving myself a home careful home "trim". You can imagine how well that turned out! I had never needed a haircut correction more. Cut to when some salon restrictions were lifted, I found out to my panic my Allan Edwards had folded shop permanently and couldn't find my usual stylist. I went ahead and booked with Martha. I'm SO glad I did. She had her work cut out for her (see what I did there?) making all my lopped off ends even again and she even knows how to cut coarse, thick hair so that it lays nicely, with or without styling. I've been getting my hair cut by Shahnaz for several years now. I went in earlier this evening and asked her if I could have the sides and back longer - and not quite as layered - but have the top cut shorter. Shahnaz explained each step of what she was doing as she cut my hair. She showed me how she was angling my hair upward to leave the layers longer on the sides and back. When I got home and looked at my hair - after it'd dried a bit more (since she'd shampooed and conditioned it, but I like to let my curly hair "air-dry"), I LOVED what she'd done! Twice, in the last couple of months, this store has told me that they didn't receive any online reservation that I made using Supercuts app. Yesterday they made me sit down for 10 mins and then after that, they told me that it's gonna take another 30 mins for me to get my haircut. While I understand there might be some technical issues, this was a very bad experience after a long day at work. There's also no way for me to show my confirmation to them using the iOS app. Terrible design. Supercuts at Woodland hills has been my regular store for many years now. I was told it would take 15 minutes to get a haircut, and I said that was perfectly fine. 30 minutes goes by and 2 other customers walk in and were seen before me. Another 30 minutes goes by until I'm seen so I ask if there's anything they can do on the price for being 45 minutes later than what I was told, and she unapologetically said, "No." Very poor way to treat a customer that was patient enough to wait for 1 hour to get a haircut. We go to a Persian woman named Shahnaz (I think) who is always kind, professional and does an amazing job. She's the one with black hair who is the first stylist on your right as you walk in. My daughters' hair always looks great. She always has suggestions on how to make their hair cut how they want it while still taking off the dead ends, keeping the length and adding style. read more
