Just came back from my monthly haircut and got disappointing news that Marianne, my hair stylist that I have been going to for over 10 years, is being move again. Originally, I was going to the Supercut on Brea Blvd for several years which was 5 min from me. It was where I met Marianne and eventually brought my entire family of five to her until that location closed down. She was a great stylist and very patient with my kids. She moved to the Imperial Hwy location which was 15 min away but we followed her. It is rare to find a great hair stylist in a corporate chain hair salon because they usually have high turnover over of their hair dresser but we did. Unfortunately, they will be moving her again to the Yorba Linda branch for no reason and to her surprise. This will force us to find a new place to get our hair cut since it is over 30 mins for us to get there. This 1 Star review is to supercut company management for moving a great hair stylist away from the location that she has builded good-will and relation around the community through the years. Instead of nurturing and allowing word of mouth to spread for their business, Supercut management is pulling that person away and cutting those connection. There are other corporate salons know for quick and inexpensive hair cut but no personal connection versus smaller salon that are more expensive but you have a connection with your hair stylist. This is a situation where Supercut found a skilled hairstylist that is loyal to them and that has build relationship with her customer but instead of keeping her around her loyal customer they are moving her farther away and forcing the customer to leave the business. Sorry for venting but it upset me enough that I needed to post my opinion and I hope this doesn't happen again to other good hairstylist working for Supercut or other customers that have to find new hair dresser. read more

I have been a customer of Super Cuts for YEARS! Recently I have noticed that the management at this specific location has gone down WAY down. Also, my "girl" Marianne has now been moved without any notice to us her clients. I had to hunt her down to Yorba Linda location!!! Do better Supercuts Fullerton! read more

I was looking to get a haircut and opened their app. The one on Beach had a bit of a wait so I decided to go to this one on Imperial since it said that there was no wait. There were 5 stylists to choose from but the app wasn't responding. I was only a couple minutes away so I just walked in. There was only one client in the shop who looked like he was almost done. I was approached by an older lady who asked if made an appointment on the app. I told her that the app wasn't working so I walked in. She replied that they don't take walk ins right now. There's 5 stylists and one client who's almost done. I understand if it were close to closing time but it was 6:20pm and they close at 7:00pm and it's a 20 minute slot on the app for a regular haircut. I usually only get a quick fade too. But it's not just that they wouldn't take me, it was a feeling like I didn't belong there. More of a "you're not welcome here" type vibe. Like, it's a Supercuts in a run down plaza not some high end Beverly Hills salon. I walked away not mad, but maybe I'm glad I didn't get a haircut there. read more

I have been a customer at this Supercuts location for more than 15+ years. The stylists have always been great. Professional and understanding of my changing needs as I have aged. While they have all been great, Nagan has always been one of my consistent favorites. I would never want to have to change to another location. I understand that some clients have not been able/willing to accept the new procedures for scheduling advance appointments. However, I find it personally convenient and a great change. read more

Been a customer for years and live in OC area now. Checked in on the app and arrived as normal. Was greeted as there were only two people getting services. "Gisele", or Ngan according to the app, called me back. Hesitated because there was still hair from the previous client on the floor around the work station I'd be at. She still motioned me back so I continued. Showed her a picture since she had never cut my hair before and was immediately met with "this is a barber style, we cannot do this. You'll have to go to a barber instead." It was a simplified burst fade with no design or anything over the top. Very odd since Marta, Hoa, Summer, and many other SoCal locations have all cut my hair the style for a while now. Decided to get a one guard around with trim on top instead since this reaction didn't really instill much confidence for anything else. I should've left but I guess hair will grow back. I will take her advice and find a barber especially for a mediocre $30 haircut without a tip included, or opt for any other stylist. I'm curious if this is the same lady with other negative reviews. read more

The staff is very nice and immediately I get greeted with great service and a friendly smile. I love this place. I am so glad they are enforcing appointments. I happened to come in one morning and there was this man outside with his brood. I happened to be early and I decided to take a walk because the man with all his kids was making a big deal about having an appointment. He was so rude. When I came back the girls were their same selfs very friendly and professional. I love that I can get a great cut for a good price. Thank you Martha, Gessel, and Jen. This Supercuts opens at 10am. I arrived with my children and were waiting outside for 10 minutes while the inside staff were looking outside at us. They didn't open right at 10 and there were 3 staff. All of a sudden one of the employees stood at the door saying I couldn't come in without an appointment. Hispanic woman - completely rude. I asked where it said it was by appointment open. Then the manager let us in (there was another customer too) and they all started yelling how it's busy and appointment only. Extremely rude way to approach the manner instead of calmly explaining the situation. Also - I would suggest putting up a sign or notification on the app. read more

The woman who cut my hair, simply put, was unskilled; she said she'd been cutting hair for decades. (The cut was so poor that I went to another salon after a couple of days, to clean up what he could). I saw as she worked that she did not have technique and should have stopped her but wanting to be polite, I ended up with hair so short in places that it will take a few weeks to be able to have it styled the way I had requested. This was, without question, the worst hair cut I've ever had. Also, the atmosphere of this place was unpleasant. Nothing pleasing to the eye anywhere in the shop. I think they are used to using an electric razor, comb and one pair of scissors to cut boys and men but if you are someone who wants a skilled operator in pleasant surroundings, and wish to leave looking better than when you arrived, I recommend you look elsewhere. read more

Absolutely pissed off. I came in to get a tiny trim on the back of my head. I told the lady I liked to keep my hair long she cuts off a couple inches and now the hair in the front of my head is significantly longer then the back. Never returning here again. I would give this place a half star if I could, waited 40 minutes for a hair cut and explained what I wanted which was long layers, & I had to step by step explain to her what I wanted, maybe it was lack of experience? not sure, anywho she cut my hair dry probrably sprayed it a few times, did not section any of it just chopped away. It seemed as if she learned how to cut hair off a YouTube video and then attempted for the first time. I should have trusted my gut, but then again I always try my best to give the benefit of the doubt. Anyway I left and instantly knew I had to go get it fixed by the girl I always go to, she was shocked. I had medium length hair and after fixing it I now have hair barely reaching my shoulders fixing the work I just had done, not only that but had to pay 100$ to fix this. My hairdresser said they thinned my hair, layers were uneven and it was an over all mess. On top of that, there were three of them and they didn't even know how to work the register, the hairdresser was cursing during conversation it was genuinely insane. When they respond to reviews with a phone number making it seem like they're going to make it right, the phone number DOESN'T WORK TO EVEN MAKE A COMPLAINT! I learned my lesson, I should have spoken up but I genuinely felt so bad and didn't want to cause a scene.. never going back! Take this with a grain of salt but this is just my experience. read more

I have never been a big fan of haircuts... I think that this place gives me about as good a haircut as I could get out there considering that my haircuts might go 4 weeks inbetween. I've been coming to this location for years but I lately, I've been considering moving on to a different location. Every time I visit this location, I am asked which haircut I would like. I would tell them then I am asked "Are you sure?". Why is that a question? This stylist continued to ask three more times to make sure I should continue with my decision. I think it's completely rude to keep asking me before she cuts my hair then at the end say "There a five at top and two on the sides like you said".
