I came here on a Sunday afternoon and left after waiting for 10 minutes or so. I generally have zero issues with waiting, BUT there were three employees at the location when I arrived (two who were working...I think the third was just visiting or picking something up), all who clearly did not care at all about their customers. Only one of them was cutting hair. They all kept gossiping and wasting time, while there were at least four people waiting. At one point, the only stylist actually cutting hair stopped and started talking to someone else, leaving the person in the chair annoyed as well. Pass! read more

I've been coming here since about 1996 when I lost my personal stylist. I virtually always get the haircut I expect with relatively short wait times (it helps to time when I go) and a fair price for the area. Giselle is one of the best, but they have all done well for me. read more

I said yes we do at 5:20 she said we'll have other appointments and I don't know how long it will be . And said she will be closing soon too. I was like wow so the appointments online don't count?!. I came in on Friday and showed a picture of the hair cut I wanted to Michael, who assured me he knew what he was doing for an a line cut and that he had been doing hair since 2007. What I received was clearly not what I wanted. I have had an a line cut before, still did, but it was just a little grown out and needed a trim/touching up. I was late for a family function so I took a quick look before leaving and it looked okay from what I saw (only the back is what he showed me..). When I got home to change I saw what I really had and was horrified. There was no time to turn around and I had my event to be at, so I tried to even the front out as much as I could. On top of that, after I paid and left I realized he didn't charge the amount he stated it would be. Originally I was told it's $21 for a simple cut, but that it would be $31 because he had to "really cut the details out" in the back. On top of that I there was a random $4-5 increase on top of that $31 he originally told me it would cost and then being nice and in a hurry I tipped him another $4-5 which left me paying about $41. Double what I originally expected. I will not be going back to a Supercuts, ever. I've been before and never had this issue and normally am not fearful about bad haircuts and now I am! This is unacceptable, but I highly doubt anything would be done about it which is why I haven't gone in to complain. They can't put my hair back so, here we are. Lesson learned. read more

My son wants to cry! His worst hair cut ever! When he was little, Kool Cuts for Kids on La Palma in Buena Park did awesome! Last year, he wanted something more popular for his age 12, so we started going to Sports Clip in La Habra. They were closed, so we tried this place and that was a mistake. We went at around 515pm today, Sunday 10/13/19 if the manager wants to identify who was working at that time. My son said another lady stepped in finish up so it is clear to me his hairdresser was inexperienced. They shaved so close in the back, they drew blood. That's never happened before. And his hair when not smoothed back with gel looks choppy and like a bowl cut! Sigh, he's sad but we'll go back to our usual in a couple weeks once it grows out a bit. Honestly, without my haircut I'm Lowkey ugly. Martha has been doing a phenomenal job freshening up my hair for over 10 years! Even moving a lot farther away I still make the time to come back here because of the exceptional service she's always provided for me. I stopped going here because I found a place closer. Big mistake and I suffered for it! Came back to this store about a year ago and have been very happy. I have had Gloria and Martha both cut my hair. They listen and have helped me get my hair to where I like it! Went today and, although it was so hot outside, the store was wonderfully cool! DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE!!! I dread getting my haircut. It's hard to find a good place. The barber I normally go to (La Habra Plaza Barber Shop) was closed when I needed a cut, so I came here. In the future I will wait for my barber to open again. This was one of the WORST cuts I've ever gotten. I have a usual guy cut. Short on the sides, blended down, a little longer on top, and I comb it forward. Nothing out of the ordinary or weird. I got home and found that there was no blending done in the back at all. The top was uneven. The only reason there was ANY blend to the sides was because when the "barber" thought he was finished, I pointed out the choppy mess he was so proud of. And this cost me $16? Never again. I'm just glad he didn't cut much off. I'll be getting another cut in about two weeks. read more

Possibly the worst haircut experience I've had. The lady that cut my hair looked as if she didn't wanna do it at all. I have curly hair and she combed through it with a paddle brush. Then I asked her to give me a blowout and she did it so lazily. She left the blow dryer on my hair for super long and I left with burnt ends and frizzy hair. Never again. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A DECENT CUT/STYLE. read more

Been going here about 6 years. Not every hair cut has been perfect (occasionally I get a new cutter and then it is hit and miss), but there are several of the regular cutters that always do a good job. Giselle is one of them. Very friendly and cheerful and does a great job. read more

This place sucks...even for supercuts. The people here are jaded and only know how to cut one style of hair. Last time I came here to get a simple trim, they left all these patches of uncut hair around the back of my head. I went once before a lady did a great job. This time was a guy and I used a picture for reference and it looked nothing like the picture. The fade is terrible and the whole time I'm kept face away from the mirror so I couldn't see what he was doing and offer my opinion and I planned a shampoo after but he just slicked gel on my hair without asking. This place is always dead and most likely will go out of business. However there is always 1 person working. Anyways I went in with my mom to get her hair done and the lady working on my mom was super rude to a customer saying it'll be 20 minutes! Just plain rude to customers.....anyways they need to hire more people and not just have 1 employee working. Also, I wanted to get my hair done but it would take too long for her to work on my and my mom at the same time. I am very satisfied with my experiences here at Supercuts on Imperial. The manager and main stylist, I believe, Gil cut my hair a few days ago. I have been growing my hair out for a year and the ends needed a fresh start. He was very conservative at first which I really appreciate because some stylists will take more off right away. Only person that i will let cut my hair is Giselle, she is AMAZING, never fails. Always an excellent cut with fresh fades. I been coming here because of her for years now. I love how friendly she is making me feel at home. My main pet peeve is when you get a fresh cut and the fade is awful, but ever since i met Gisele i never have to worry about that again. She takes extra time and very close detail to assure i get that perfect fade and cut. read more

This place is an absolute joke. My buddy went to get a simple fade earlier today. Let's just say he's bald now... The haircut he received was so horrid, he went straight home and shaved his head. The kicker is that the so called "barber" or whatever he was didn't realize that there was anything wrong with the haircut... despite the 16 different angles his hair was in following the haircut. Some key words to describe his hair afterward... UNEVEN, DIAGNAL, PATCHY... My friend asked for the manager following the memorable haircut he received. Edward Scissorhands claimed that he was the manager (which i highly doubt). My buddy advised the gifted hair artist he would not be monetarily compensated for his services and left. It was then that I noticed my friend was walking around with something that resembled 14th century Renaissance artwork on top of his dome... This man should not be in business or anywhere near hairclippers period... FYI, the guy's workstation is the first chair on the left (northeast chair) as you walk in to the establishment. read more

I've received the exact haircut I wanted all three times that I've been here. They are also open later than other Supercuts in my area. They also know how to cut and style my blonde hair where the other Supercuts tried to treat it like the more prevalent black Asian hair of the area. Mine is not that heavy. Great job! read more

I started going here because I just want a basic cut. I don't like layers in my hair at all and all I ever want is about a half inch trimmed. I don't like paying $50+ dollars for a half inch trim across the bottom so I figure Supercuts will work. The first time I went was fine. An Asian woman (who I get the vibe is the owner?) did my trim and it was fine. I just need a basic across the bottom cut so how can that get messed up? Well, the last time I went in an Arabic woman did my hair and she insulted me and did a poor job on the cut. I know I have fine hair and I dislike when people make me seem like I'm going bald. I understand its their job to try to sell product but really, do you have to make me feel bad about myself in the process? She got my hair all wet BEFORE asking what I want (which is not the right way to start the consultation). Luckily for her all I wanted was a straight across the bottom trim. She told me I was wrong for wanting it and that I needed to get layers to make my hair look fuller. No. I told her I don't want them but she argued with me. For my hair it doesn't work. Period. Don't argue, just trim. When she finally got to trimming she hardly trimmed anything at all. Plus I think she did add a layer in when I specifically asked her not to. Either that or she just cut it so crooked it looks layered. I think I will find another salon. Even if its a cheap place the least I can ask for is someone to listen to my request and not make me feel horrible about my hair. read more

Don't why this place gets poor ratings. Martha helped me out. She was very nice and cut it exactly how I wanted. Wasn't too busy so I was seen right away. Although she cut my hair fairly quickly, she took her time on small details of my sides for a seemingly flawless fade. Will probably use her to replace my barber. read more
