Pretty good SuperCuts in Thousand Oaks, but prices are still too high $31 for an adult cut and $29 for a kid or senior cut. Staff are really nice. Just make sure to make a reservation ahead of time as they rarely take walk ins. Parking is super easy. read more

I've been going here for 12+ years and the current staff is the best I've experienced during all these years. Everyone is very attentive, patient, and respectful whether it's slow or extremely busy. Every stylists here does a great job so you don't have to worry about getting any specific one. It's nice how welcoming they are and always willing to get to know you. My boyfriend went to your location a week ago for a haircut. He asked for a clipper cut with nr.3 guard and top long enough to comb it to the side. Instead he got a nr.1 high and tight with the sides sticking out. The sides don't blend and the top looks like a flat top. And I said I'm a spouse with a military ID. And she said if you're only a spouse we don't give discounts. I said okay. And then she rolled her eyes on me. Great place to get a haircut. They don't have a revolving door of stylist. Why because the owners treat their stylist well and hence you have the same stylist you see all the time. Great haircut and courteous workers. Usually never a wait longer than 10 minutes after dinner. I can't wait for them to re-open after the pandemic. I went to this location at 1:15 today. There are three hair stylist. One of them was cutting the other one's hair and just got finished. The 3 rd one is doing nothing. When I walked in, the Lady told me she is about to leave and if they get busy, they have only 2 people. I really don't care if they did my short hair root touch up or not. Disorganized rude and incompetent receptionist that barely speaks English. Scheduled an appointment at noon for 6:15PM haircuts for two boys. Confirmed they can be seen at the same time. Showed up on time only to find out that they don't know what happened to our appointments, and they booked another kid that they decided to take first. No one offered a solution, but they quickly gave us lame excuses for letting us down. We left and immediate found another location on Avenida De Los Arboles that took us immediately. I got my haircut at this salon on Saturday, my stylist's name was Kat. I explained what I wanted and I also expressed the reason why I chose Supercuts was because of the technique the stylists use. I also worked at Supercuts myself as a manager and hairstylist so I know how the haircut supposed to be done. My stylist started the haircut on the wrong side cutting from long to short instead of short to long. My hair was cut too short and one side is not blended, it looks terrible. I don't understand why your stylists don't follow Supercuts technique since they work at Supercuts? Maybe they need better training Very disappointed, I was looking forward to a great haircut! read more

I will never be coming back. It's worth it to spend $20-$30 more on a haircut at a real salon then to come here and roll the dice. The woman who cut my hair was unprofessional and did a horrible job. During my haircut she actually told me I wasn't missing out on anything by not having kids. This was after telling me that she got pregnant because she thought it would make her happy, but it didn't. And parenthood is exhausting. And that she doesn't like going to the park because the real families make her sad. Wtf? Seriously, wtf? Who says that to a complete stranger? For all she knew I was trying to have a kid but couldn't. Or had just had a miscarriage. Or maybe could never have kids but desperately wanted one. Extremely unprofessional and just in general selfish and heartless commentary. I honestly feel horrible for her kid. On top of all that she cut my hair at least and inch and half too short! I thought it was a little short before I left, but once it fully dried it just looks terrible. I've been having to wear it up so no one can see just how bad it is. It's embarrassing. How hard is it to focus and cut off how much is asked of you? Two and a half inches is not the same as 4 inches. It's just barely past my shoulders now. I know what haircut would look good, and this freaking short isn't it. Which is exactly why I told her a longer length. Either way they lost a longtime customer. And I hope any woman who sees this will know to stay away. Unless you want to spend months looking like shit because they hacked way too much of your hair off! read more

I think the bad reviews for this place were due to the previous manager who, let's face it, just was not a nice person and caused a lot of grief for the stylists working here. I have received consistently great services from this salon. I have had my color done, highlights and cuts. I am a regular and LOVE this place. Brenda is the BEST. I get compliments on my hair ALL THE TIME. It's affordable, clean, comfortable, convenient and totally works for me. If you need to go to a high status salon and spend way more than you need to, then go right ahead. :) read more
