OK, um, first of all the map is a little off for the location and I just wanted to get that out of the way. I've been coming to this location for about ten years now, and what keeps me coming back is the customer service. I've moved farther away from this location within that time frame and there is actually one much, much closer to me but I had one bad experience there so I drive about 6 miles just to get to this one (as opposed to 1 mile). Over the ten years I've been coming to this location, they have remodeled the store so it looks much better and they've only moved a few employee's and they are what keep me coming back. Not much else I can say about a Supercuts. Good experience every time, great employees, greatly improved interior. read more

Busy mom deciding between getting a groupon for a salon or coming here. I came here and got a great cut!! I didn't have to wait the quoted 15 minutes and Marisa was really nice. She showed me how much she would take off before she cut and checked in on the layers and side swept bangs I got. I would recommend Marisa to everyone. I don't even know where to begin.. large well organized shop with friendly staff.. clean and sanitary work stations. Floor was so free of hair they are so on top of the cleanliness and appearance of the shop. Megan has always been my life saver! Regardless of the horrible messed up cut or color I have brought to her.. she has ALWAYS fixed it! She is a master of color and on top of her game when it comes to hair cuts of any kind. Worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life. I asked my just small layers in the back to add some volume and she gave me layers all over my head and on sides which is redundant as I have a long A LINE cut so she chopped the A line look and now I look like a five year cut my hair. I can't even curl it and it look right. I have short layers on the side that stick out high and than the bottom length from the A Line falls long. It's a serious disaster. I have a family event Saturday and start my new career on Monday and this hair just ruined my entire coButchered. Super upsetting. I went to Fantastic Sams in Imperial Highway to fix it and Vickie was able to fix it, she did have to take a few inches off to make everything look normal but let me tell you HUGE DIFFERENCE, absolutely beautiful. read more

Supercuts is a place I have had my hair cut for many years now, but after my last two experiences, I'm done. The second to last time, I told the girl I wanted a graduated bob, where it's a little shorter in the back then gets a little longer in the front. When I went home, it was very evident that my hair was longer in the back than in the front and she gave me layers in the front that I didn't ask for and it looked bad. I wore hats to cover my hair for a few weeks. This last time, the girl, Karina, says she has been there a few months. One, she cut REALLY slow. I showed her where I wanted the length cut to and I had to tell her a few times to cut it shorter cause she was cutting off 1/4 of an inch at a time, it seemed. Second, same thing. Longer in the front, shorter in the back, graduated bob. Once she was done, she showed me in the mirror and I pointed out that my hair was longer in the back than in the front. So she had to re do it! Third, she didn't even wet my bangs that had been pulled back with hairspray so she started cutting them when they clearly weren't even so you could SEE where to cut and thankfully I stopped her, since my bangs are now oddly cut and I had to fix them myself. Came in for a normal cut and they said the wait is 40 minutes. I came back and find out she had taken a FAMILY in and was gonna do all 3 of them first. She said that DIDNT REMEMBER ME even though she had literally written my name down and that I would have to wait for all 3 to finish. What kind of terrible customer service is this? Oh yeah there were also multiple others working at the same time but they were all doing nothing??? This was my first time trying a Supercuts in years and I was instantly reminded why I don't go to them. read more

So I've been coming to this specific location for over 2 years now and I've been exceptionally pleased with employee's work. These ladies deal with crazy busy rushes, extremely rude customers, and still manage to get their job done while welcoming every single customer that walks through their doors. RANT WARNING: Majority of the time that I've seen customers complain have been based off 2 factors: their indecisiveness or the wait time for the next available stylist. When you come in, they ask what you want done and I've personally seen customers say "just a regular hair cut" or "whatever you think would look best." The stylist will go ahead and confirm what they will be doing and proceed to cut away. In the end, the cut was no way close to what they had originally agreed on due to the customer's demand throughout the cut. And now, the customer is unhappy. It's the customer's fault for not knowing what they wanted, the stylist is just doing what you tell them to do. At the end of it all, don't be that pesky customer who tips $1 whole dollar for all the trouble you've made them go through... like, cmon. Second scenario is when everybody and their mothers decides to go get a haircut right before a big holiday or right before school starts. Guess what? The wait is going to be well over an hour when there's 9 people ahead of you, that's just the way it is. All 4-6 stylists are working diligently to try and get to everybody ASAP. Don't be that person that waits til last minute and then complains/harasses the receptionist. Moral of the rant: Don't be rude, know what you want, tip stylists accordingly, don't ask for discounts and manage your time wisely. I've personally seen all these scenarios go down in the store over the past couple years and honestly I'm fed up. These ladies work hard and hardly anybody thanks them for it. I came in for a simple cut and layer. Wanted about 2 inches off. After waiting a short 3ish minutes Michelle introduced herself. She seemed nice! She shampooed my hair and gave me a few hair care tips. I explained that I wanted the whole length of my hair cut to the length of the hair in the front (the back was longer) and the layers to be right under my ears. I cant see without my glasses so the whole time I was in front of the mirror I was oblivious to how my hair was looking. We made some small talk and the atmosphere was calm, nice, and polite. After she was finished I took a look at my hair and it was a bit longer than I had wanted. I asked her if it would be horrible of me to ask for it shorter. I could basically HEAR her eyes rolling. Her attitude immediately changed from polite to a rude. Like she was amnoyed with me?? She explained that it would get shorter when it was dry. I knew that but still wanted it shorter. I was willing to even pay extra tip since it was going to take longer to do it again but she was being short and rude with me because I didnt understand certain terms. Honestly I considered leaving her a terrible tip because of it but I didnt. Every time I go to the salon I always leave with a cut I dont like because I never have the nerve to speak up and today I spoke up because she seemed nice enough. Guess I made a mistake? I have been going to this location since 2010, and have trusted Super Cuts for the last 11 years. Today, I had the worst experience ever and I will no longer return to this place. Hair grows back and that is not why I am writing this review. Attitude and customer service are something very important to me and I do not appreciate moody and rude stylist taking care of my hair. A hair saloon is a place where I relax and feel good. I do not need that extra stress added by miserable and unhappy employees. I asked for Shampoo, Haircut and a Full-blow dry and the stylist got mad because it was 4:15pm and she was off at 5pm. The stylist's name is Michelle. She did not say a word to me during the whole hair cut. She was rolling her eyes and annoyingly putting things back into her station. She was annoyed that my hair is somewhat tangled. I have a long and a very clean hair, easy to handle. She rushed through cutting (10min or less). She kept looking at the clock. Anyways, she blow-dried my hair, did not ask me how I want it or if I want to part it to the left/right/middle. I was nice and friendly the whole time. I know we all have bad days and yelling would not solve the problem. I thanked her and went to the front desk to pay. Her and the receptionist could not decide what to charge me. They played with the price for a few minutes, and I kept seeing some crazy totals on the registered. I asked what was going on. Then I was charged $85. I always have paid $55 or so, same hair, same service, since 2010. She told me management changed, rules too. They used to charge me one thing, but now it is different. I looked at the prices and the list of services and everything is still the same. Like I said, hair grows back, I just needed a trim because it is summer and humid, and did not care if she will blow dry or not. but because of her attitude, I won't use Super Cuts any longer. read more

I have been getting my hair cut here for years. It's not my favorite place, but I haven't disliked it enough to stop going. The prices are okay, but they take a little jump every year or two. The wait is usually half an hour or more. They allow you to call and put your name down, but it doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to it. They never seem to worried about your wait time or making you feel welcome. Don't get attached to one stylist- they move around a lot. One I get my hair cut, I'm usually satisfied. The stylists do a good job, just always seem to be understaffed during peak times. If you are looking to start a new place- I'd check other places out first. I just keep going because I know the measurements for my haircut and they can do my basic hairstyle. read more

Supercuts?? No way. Very hard to believe when my son is walking out with bald spots and uneven hair. My dad took my son for a haircut and came home with the worst haircut he's ever had. I went in for a second visit and asked them to cut it all one size. As she starts cutting his hair she realizes she's not doing a good job and says I need to talk to my manager. She leaves and brings her manager and says that they can't continue because the hair was beyond too messed up to be fixed and blamed it on my son for not staying still. If they don't know how to give a haircut to younger kids they shouldn't be accepting our money! This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. PAMELA the 'manager' has the worst customer service and doesn't know how to resolve any issues. Then I call and ask for corporates number and they said I have to find it myself. WOW! Just had my haircut here. The stylist was a sweet gal how however her hand placement and hesitation showed a lack of confidence which results in a stressful haircut. I'm sure she could pick up on the fact that I was a bit anxious which likely only added to the issue. As a result I'm not satisfied with the cut and it is unlikely that I will return for another. read more

Came in for a quick trim. My hair is rather long and I just wanted to clean up the dead ends. I was a walk-in and only had to wait about 5 minutes. Mikey helped me. I told him I wanted a trim but liked to keep the length. He went through and went over each portion of my hair almost like he was giving me a tutorial. I liked that he was explaining what he was doing to show that he was listening to what I wanted and that this was how he was going to execute it. Overall very happy, very quick. Been coming to this location for 5 years. Bring my 2 boys and I was a regular every 2 weeks. I spent tons of money here, have a basic "fade" cut. For whatever reason, not many can cut my hair right. I can deal with a bad haircut here and there but two or three in a row from this location! Monique was always on point and giving 5 star service. It is a shame she was moved because service has severely deteriorated. This past visit, I was the 3rd in line. Waited for the two ahead me to get services. One more person comes in and they call them before me. I figure they must have called in before I got there. New person walks in and they get called ahead of me. I say excuse me, but the 2 stylists seem to not hear me. So now a 3rd person comes in and they call them ahead! This time, after waiting over 1 hour and 15 minutes I get up and say something. The Manager states, he saw me,I was checked in the computer, and even though I was checked in, he doesn't understand why I wasn't called 3 customers ago. Yet he is the one checking in, cutting hair, and at the front of the store! I used to have my hair cut by Monique here, and she definitely deserves 5 stars. However, since she was moved, service has definitely suffered at this location. I also cannot understand why the owner charges $2 additional to request a stylist! Customers are requesting a stylist because we cannot count on a good cut from other stylists!! So pay more to ensure a good haircut? Seems backwards. read more

I've gone back a few times since. Same deal. Super nice stylists, but poorly managed. There are enough other local places to get my hair cut, I'm going to continue going to them. I should have been tipped off when I noticed it's a revolving door of stylists. It's the lack of good management that prevents good people from sticking around.
