I went for a haircut yesterday. My hairstylists was named Christine. I showed a photo to her of how I want my hair be styled. She cut my hair hurriedly (since another customer is waiting), without paying attention to the outcome of my haircut. I hate when a stylist wet my hair, then cut it, and she let me go without blow drying it. I requested layers for my back and side of my hair. Going home with a wet hair, when I dried my hair, the lengths were cut unevenly, extremely short and choppy especially the front side. It appeared to be cut by someone who is NOT a professional hairstylist (like a toddler). She DESTROYED my long beautiful hair. I was extremely sad and outraged because of this bad haircut. Now, I look so ugly for my upcoming birthday? This Christine should go back to school to refresh her hair cutting skills. Supercut is NOT RECOMMENDED! I swear I will NEVER go back to this place again!!! read more

So let me start from the beginning when we first walked in all that happened was an uncomfortable stare from the employees. Then after standing there for a couple minutes then the more pleasant looking of the two said welcome. Next onto the cut let me tell you it was so rushed it was ridiculous she finished in less than 10minutes, and for their hot towel treatment the hairstylist let my husband wipe himself "OK". How weird was that. What made this visit standout was we were supposed to have a $2 off coupon in an email and since the email wasn't able to be retrieved they couldn't even take the measly $2 off-that went her tip. Not only that one of the other hairstylists was giving me weird looks but yet she was smiling at my husband-uh okay . Walked in and was told one person was ahead for me 5 stylists were cutting hair so figured wouldn't be long. After waiting 20 minutes three customers had finished but the stylists shifts had ended. I continue sitting while multiple stylists and customers discuss how amazing a product smelled. I decided to leave. I think more communication would have made me feel better about the situation and less pushed off. read more

For over 15 years my wife,a stylist, cut my hair. Even after we split. A couple years ago we had a falling out and I was forced to go out into the world and find a stylist. I was apprehensive to go to the chain stores again, I'm awkward and by and large I don't like people, but I did because this head was getting hairy! I would go to whichever was most convenient at the moment but a couple days ago I went to this Supercuts location and got Belinda. She's who this review is really about. She made me feel comfortable almost immediately without even trying. Her method is gentle, (which I mistook for timidness at first) as opposed to the "push my head around like you're positioning a vase to photograph" feeling I get from other stylists. Came here for a haircut, luckily I came in right when they opened and only had to wait around five minutes. My hair stylist was nice, polite and cut my hair exactly to what I wanted. You can't ask more from a haircut place really, the only thing I hate about SuperCuts is the long waits though, luckily this time I didn't have to wait. read more

The Supercuts on Navajo is terrible! Rotten customer service at this location!! They booked an appointment with me at 6 pm. I arrived early and waited until 6:10 when the girl who was to cut my son's hair took a break. We waited for 20 minutes and when she did not return we left. The other girl working rudely told me my appointment was really just a place holder. They did NOT tell me this when I called and if she needed a break the worker should not have accepted a 6 pm 'place holder'. Will never return and will tell family and friends of terrible customer service. read more

Bottom line up front: Terrible customer service, revolving door of staff due to awful management. I used to go to he Supercuts in Hillcrest when I lived in University Heights; I was a regular customer there for about 10 years. I had used Supercuts in the past in other cities I've lived in, and they have been ok for the basic cut that I get (5 on the side, blended in on the top, clean up the ol' side burns). When I moved to San Carlos, I actually tried another salon type place, with mixed results. I didn't even realize there was a Supercuts in the neighborhood. So after a terrible cut at the other not-to-be-named place (since I forget the name), I found there was in fact a Supercuts. I called ahead like usual and Rita cut my hair. She cut my hair for a while, and then left, so I tried another girl, who then left, and so on and so on. I've went through a couple different stylists (if that's the title), who have all told me the same thing: This place treats their employees terrible so people leave. Which sucks for me, since although my hair cut is simple, I have areas of difficulty that people who cut my hair more than once can get used to. Plus I just prefer to have the same person cut it. Rita actually gave me her card for her new place, but it was a tad too far for me. The next couple of girls also gave me their cards for their new locations, but I either lost them or they were too far away. So anyway, Kari was to be my latest stylist, but just like everyone else I was told she no longer works there. So I rolled the dice and put my name on the list. And here is why I will no longer go here. This has been the story of this location: You call ahead to put your name on the list, who ever is on the other side of the phone says there is no one ahead of you, no one waiting, it takes me literally 5 minutes to get there, and suddenly there is a waiting room full of people. I check in and told that it will be 30-40 minutes as there are several people ahead of me. What is the point of putting your name on the list of everyone else can jump ahead. It's really irritating and annoying. So I'm writing this with an out of control mop of hair, but I just can't give this place any more money. I think I found a new place down the street that actually takes appointments, and the price seems to be close (25 bucks). This place is run terribly and all the employees leave after a couple of months for greener pastures. Good luck to them. read more

Unfortunately, I didn't get the woman's name, but I would not come back on the off chance I'd get her again. She spent literally 40 minutes perfecting a 10-year-old boy's hair, but spent less than 20 minutes on me. I just wanted my bob shortened, but she cut far more than I asked for and didn't do the only thing I specified. Not happy ... And not taking any pictures for the next month! read more

Will not be returning to this location. Made an appointment for 5:00pm and was told there would be a 45 minute wait upon arrival. This was the 3rd time in a row I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes + even though I had a scheduled appointment. Customer service is horrible. Hair cuts were sub par as well... gross. read more

I go into this Supercuts to see Carrie. She is always happy to help with my long hair and takes time to do an damaging job on my highlights and all over color. My first visit she spent time to make the color formula just right for my wants, and was fast with her application. The other staff are friendly, an anytime there is a wait they are always willing to let you run next door to drab a bagel or coffee and not loose your spot! I have had cuts by other staff and have always been satisfied! read more

I went to Carrie, not knowing her skill set, and she cut my hair amazingly. For the price, it's such a deal. I have decently long, damaged hair and Carrie took her time to make sure I got my dead ends cut off. This place is awesome and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely be returning! read more

Only place I will go. If you come here make sure to ask for Blue. Not only does she give you the best haircut but she's also interesting to talk to and there's no awkward silence. Have been here a number of times now, for cut and color. About every 6 weeks. Each person has done a good job. You can call ahead to get on the list, to minimize your wait time.. OR go on a day they are not busy. (Wednesday for example. 12 noon straight up and no one else in there) BUT! I had wanted to come earlier, and called some time before 9 to see when they opened, and got a busy signal! . I Tried again and again, and finally someone answered after they opened at 9. It would have been much better, to me, if there was an outgoing message that gave the hours (and maybe talk about the 'promotion of the day'). Instead I had to keep calling back . Great service with great staff! Ive been going to this location for a few years and never received anything less than a satisfying experience. The first time i came here my hair was botched by another salon and they fixed it wonderfully. I could tell the skill these ladies have and take there work serious. Ive even brought both my daughters here for their highschool proms and graduations. All the girls are a pleasure but Alicia is the one im most familiar with. Very professional with the greatest advice. I just love the hair products as well. Keep up the amazing work. If i could reccomend any improvements it would be the wait can get lengthy. I made an appointment on the app. I got there early from work so I had knew I would have to wait but completely under staffed for 5 and 6 o'clock hours. Just one stylist working and in no rush. Once it got 15 minutes past my appointment time the only working stylist looks at me and says well it's going to be another 15 minutes or so. She had just been chit chatting with the lady in her chair. Lucky for me the other stylist came back from lunch and took me right way and was cheerful and apologized for the wait. Her co-worker needs some customer training. I had to listen to her argue about how long a man had been waiting for. She literally said well the computer says you only been here 43 minutes and I told you it would be at least an hour so now it's going to be more like an hour and half. My advice is don't get Chrissy to cut your hair or tell you how long the wait will be. She is a good stylist but poor customer service read more

There are not enough stylists in this location. I waited 40 minutes before I gave up and left, and a man ahead of me who had an appt. for 11:00 was still waiting at 11:20. There were 2 employees when I got there; one of them disappeared shortly after. I asked what happened to the other stylist, and I was told she had to make phone calls. She must have turned away 5 or 6 people who came in after me. And there wasn't going to be another employee until 1:00 pm. I had originally been given a 30 minute wait time, which I was ok with, but after 40 minutes I was told it would actually be an hour and 20 minutes! No thank you, and maybe the phone calls should wait. read more

My hair stylist Blue is amazing. I called Supercuts in the morning and got an appointment with blue. The staff was nice and Blue was on time with my appointment. She always has a smile and great customer service. I couldn't be happier with my haircut and the experience I had with Blue at Supercuts. I will definitely continue to come see her. read more

Supercuts has the WORST customer service. It never fails every time I go into any store I am disappointed. Every time I try to call a head they quote me, say 20 minutes, so I arrive 20 mins later, proceed to wait another 40 mins then end up leaving out of frustration. Today I decided to give supercuts another chance so I stop by this location to ask how long the wait is and the overweight barber is scanning hair products says she will be with me in a min. Since when is scanning products more important than helping the customer? So if you would like a good hair cut with any hint of customer service at all I would recommend ANY other chain other than supercuts. Absolutely the WORST. read more

Bad experience for me. The gal at the desk asked for.my phone number and I elected.not to give it since it was my first time there and I didn't know if I'd be returning. As luck would have it that same woman cut my hair. Not a friendly word spoken for the whole cut. She did the most basic of cuts. No measuring side to side. No asking questions. Apparently she was ticked off that I hadn't wanted to give my # and decided to treat me horribly. So unprofessional! Will not be going back! read more

This was easily the most frustrating experience I've had getting my son's haircut. I was told that I had a 40 minute wait when I checked in. An hour later I was told it's going to be another half an hour wait. I watched a couple of ladies go home while a room full of people sat and waited for haircuts. I completely understand having to wait because it's busy. What I won't tolerate is poor management. They pay someone to schedule appointments, and check people in. If you aren't capable of estimating how long a haircut takes, and how many people are waiting, that's probably not the right position for you. That's all management in my opinion. I really would like to stress that the ladies cutting hair seemed very proficient, and where very personable. Coley did a fantastic job on both of my sons hair. My problem is not with the skilled labor, but rather the management of the business. read more
