I am very satisfied with the professionalism and quality of work performed by the crew. SuperGreen Insulation called the day before to confirm I was still able to proceed with the work. I was very impressed with their operation. They created a tunnel using plastic from my attic to my front door, removed the old, degraded insulation, dry vacuumed all the debris using a negative air vacuum, sealed any potential air leaks and holes to prevent rodents from getting into the attic, and installed new R38 insulation blankets. My old home had no insulation so I was pricing insulation installation and considering if I could get it installed before the end of the year to qualify for energy efficiency tax credit which ended in Dec. Avi from SuperGreen came to inspect my attic and give me a quote. I appreciated that he took pictures of the attic and carefully explained the installation procedure. I could see there was a lot of debris left over the years by other workers who fixed my air conditioning, roof, electrical, etc. I even had rodent proofing previously, but Avi said there were areas that needed to be sealed. Instead of just quoting a price based on the total square footage of my house (available online as other companies did), he did not include a section of my front porch that had no attic. He shared that their installation team are not sub-contractors and are trained by the company. He was able to squeeze me into the schedule and the 3 man team arrived on time. They worked very hard and did a super job cleaning the attic, patching holes, and carefully installing the Certainteed R38 fiberglass batt insulation. They are fraud, under the contract they were suppose to install R38, but the part of the attic where it is not visible from the attic access, they divided the R38 to 3 parts and installed it. The only way I could bring them back to install it correctly was after I filled a complaint with State Contractors Board. Also after they left my air ducts were damaged, some areas are not blowing and any time I turn on the A/C a foul smell comes from the ducts, which I never had before they crawl into my attic. read more

I was very impressed with SuperGreen. I called their office and got an on-site quote from Avi the next day, and the price was a good value. I had already called 3 other insulation companies in the LA/Long Beach area to get quotes. Most all had the same sort of package for our small 1050 sq ft house in Long Beach... insulation removal, vacuum attic, sanitize, rodent proof, seal air gaps, and lay down new R-38 batt insulation. Some were expensive ($16,500 (wow?) & $8,300) and some seemed too cheap ($2,300). Ultimately, I went with SuperGreen because they were sort of in the middle (less than $4K), checked all the boxes, and I got good vibes that I was getting quality at a fair price. I accepted the quote on a Tuesday and the insulation was installed 2 days later on Thursday. A team of 3 guys showed up at 9AM and were done with everything before 2PM. Afterwards I climbed up in the attic to check it out and was wowed! It looks super nice. And, they even installed the insulation underneath my AC/furnace unit too... I was impressed they made the effort didn't half-ass it. My house had old R-11 insulation which was apparently from the 1970s, and when I had my roof replaced a month or two earlier, that old insulation was trashed with the old wood shingle debris and dust when the roofing company demo'd the old roof. So, it became necessary to clean the attic, replace the insulation, and upgrade it in the process. That's how I found SuperGreen. I can tell you there is a noticeable difference in our house temperature with modern R-38 insulation... basically 3x the insulation... so the temperature is much more stable. We're very pleased with the result. And we're looking forward to being cozy this winter, and cool next summer. read more

I was super impressed with SuperGreen! First off, I got fed up trying to find folks who insulate because the whole industry is subcontracted. I would see positive reviews from a local company, call a number and then get a call back from someone based two hours away. I felt I couldn't trust anyone. I called Ron and he was super upfront. Avi, who came to perform the inspection of the attic, was very patient, thorough, and detailed with his findings and explanations of his recommendations. Ron is super communicative and was so kind to us, excellent prices for all the great work his employees do in such a short efficient time. I even had some concerns after their work, because of a light buzzing sound. Ron did not even hesitate to send someone out.
