What an awesome place! They quickly diagnosed my laptop's problem and fixed it after getting a new part. They cleaned it while it was open and encouraged me to keep it even though it was old. That's new... that someone isn't trying to get me to buy a new one. Great, wonderful experience... I can't say enough good things! I used Yelp's service to get estimates from 10 other computer repair places and this one was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the rest. My hard drive was dying so I bought a new one off Amazon and brought it in and it was fixed in less than an hour! He even fixed the dent in my Macbook Pro and reattached the rubber things on the bottom for free! A lot of other places charge you stupid fees like reinstalling OsX and recovering your data but not this place! The guy who helped me out was so nice and helpful and let me know exactly what he was doing throughout. If you need a cheap, quick, and reliable place to get your computer fixed (in my case, my Macbook Pro), this is the place to go! read more

I went to this place earlier today after seeing their prices on Craigslist. I liked the guys here so much I have started this Yelp page for them. I am not affiliated in any way with any one at this store. I was greated very nicely and was well taken care of. They made me a great deal on an iMac 24" and even bought my old iMac off of me. I have been shopping on Craigslist for a while for one and have to say that his prices are very competitive. Not to mention he give a guarantee. Sorry Craigslister's, this guy is on his game. Sam worked on a couple of my old computers for HOURS, diagnosing and figuring out what was wrong with them. FOR FREE! I had a custom DAWbox (digital audio workstation) built for me about 6 years ago, and somehow I damaged it and it stopped working. Sam figured out that it was the graphics card and a software malfunction that had caused it to stop working. He offered to sell me a new graphics card, but told me that I could get a better one at Fry's electronics for a similar price. So not only did he diagnose my computer for free, but he didn't even pressure me to buy anything! He also told me how I could connect the old hard drive externally to my other computer to access files, and then wipe it clean and start over with a new operating system to make the computer work as good as new. So, basically, he gave me a free lesson in computers and told me that I could fix the computer myself, which was awesome! On one of my computers the motherboard was fried, but he had checked the graphics card, the hard drive, the processor, the power supply, and every other possible thing that could have gone wrong. My husband and I ended up buying one of the desktop pc's that Sam was selling at his store. We watched him install the new copy of Windows 7 and he made sure that we had the same cables to connect our monitor at home. Sam was so thorough and so friendly, we were really happy with the service! One of our daughters is 14, and for Christmas she has asked for a MacBook Air, and we're going to buy one of Sam's refurbished MacBooks at his store. He also gave us a 90 day warantee on the computer that we bought, and told us that if there are any problems he will fix them, replace anything that needs replacing, and he is also available over the phone. We have called him a few times and he stays on the line as long as it takes to make sure that we're satisfied and have all of our questions answered. Amazing service, and these guys are very smart. Windows 7 crashed on my home computer after the last windows update. I tried to fix it myself and got a black screen and a cursor that would do absolutely nothing. My computer would not boot back into to safe mode. Big trouble. They got me back up and running and actually I am way better off with Windows 10 and a new hard drive that is way bigger. No data loss. I don't write reviews unless it was a really good experience or a really bad experience. I am greatly disappointed...that I didnt go to this store sooner! I have a Macbook Pro Retina. My space bar key was broken, and I knew that it was not a big deal and really just need to replace the space bar key or replace a part of the key. Originally, I went to OC Macbook Repair. The guy there told me that it would be around 400 dollars to fix the issue. He told me it was a wiring issue. I had my doubts. So I bought my laptop here. The guy here, took a look at the space bar key and told me he just needs to replace it. He didnt have the part but it would cost me 50 bucks for labor and the cost of the part. 50 bucks compare to 400, a no brainer. Well the problem was that I needed my laptop asap because I have a midterm the following week and he didnt have the part in store since it was a newer laptop. However, he told me to give him some time, and maybe there is something he could do to fix it so that I can use it in the mean time. 10 minutes later, the problem was solved! Free of charge! A bit of a caveat he told what he did was a temporary fix and there was no guarantee that it would last. What I do appreciate about this store is that (1) honesty and integrity, they are not out to get you because you have an issue with your computer and (2) the price for my to get the space bar replaced seemed very reasonable. It was a dreaded morning when I turned on my laptop, and it wont turned on. I quickly turned to my friend and he recommended me this place. I went in and was greeted promptly by Ibrahim and his assistant (whose name i forgot, sorry). They were very professional. My laptop was taken in the back, and after 5 minutes or so the assistant came out with the laptop and said to Ibrahim that the RAM is bad. Ibrahim told him to install the RAM right away. You can tell by his tone that he really cares about his customers. After another 10 mins or so, the assistant came back out with a completely functional laptop. The assistant asked Ibrahim about the cost of the work, and after thinking to himself for 3 secs. Ibrahim said "The work for today is $30." I couldn't believe what i heard, so he confirmed with me again that the work is ONLY $30. I thought for sure it'd cost at least $100, and I would have paid too just because i thought his professionalism, and service is worth that much. I'm a longtime Yelp lurker, but his service today really compelled me to create a Yelp account and shared my experience. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone with computer issues. What a great service they have here. I'm not a racist but being in auto sales and other type of sales all my life, middle eastern people are not easy to deal with. So when I walked in saw bunch of middle eastern people behind the counter, my first thought was not that good. But I was totally surprised at how knowledgable they were about my macbook and gave me three different choices. I decided to get the repair done and the price was fair and my macbook pro is working perfect. When I went to pick it up they gave me $25 extra off which was a surprise. I have a Dell XPS 13 that I depend on heavily for school especially with the pandemic and online teaching. I accidentally got some water on the front of my laptop screen and it eventually went dark and the screen wouldn't turn on but my keyboard still did. Of course I panicked. First, I went to Best Buy and they said it would take almost 2 months to fix it and it would cost $80 first and I would have to wait 2 months to see if it could actually be fixed or not by their location in Kentucky or whatever. Also told me to put in my whole laptop in rice overnight, which did not work. I messaged and few places on Yelp and they all asked for $50 for a diagnostic check first or said it would be $100+ overall. The reviews for Superior Computer seemed more truthful and reliable than those other computer fixing places in the HB/FV area. I showed up on a Saturday morning and told Abraham what happened and that I need my data backed up for my upcoming finals most importantly. He told me the damage might be the motherboard but he will first back the data as a priority and call me back after to discuss the water damage. He called me back in a very timely manner, in about 2 hours and said my laptop was able to turn on after drying it! It's been a few days and my laptop has been working perfectly normal and he only charged me for the data back up which was $50! He's honest and doesn't try to scam you, highly recommend!! read more

The seriously only place I would ever take my computers EVER! The most legit computer guys ever. First I went into the Apple store because my battery was not holding a charge. Apple first replaced my battery, turns out it was not the battery (after waiting two hours for it), and the logic board had a burnt circuit. They tried to charge me for the new battery then another $678 to replace the logic board and a turn around time of 5 days. LATES. Needless to say never going back to Apple again. My sister told me about this place so i took my macbook in. Ibraham helped me out on 9/20/2014 and told me it was a not so common problem but he assured me it was the logic board. Their price was much better, and he even asked me if i wanted it today with an UPGRADED logic board. SOLD! left it with him three hours later he called me and said he was done. All the guys there are really funny and very knowledgeable in what they are doing. My sister went in for some screws for her macbook air, and her boyfriend went to upgrade the SSD Hard Drive on his Windows Laptop. So these guys do it all. The location is shady but these guys are great. Very quick and great prices. The best customer service EVER!! I actually went back in 9/26/14 for a charger because mine was acting up. The guys at Superior are really great, not just good technicians but also good honest people. I went there a few days ago needing to replace my Dell laptop fan. I explained that it was kind of urgent and I asked if I could leave it with them for repair it and I would come back and pick it up later in the day. Ibraham, set aside his work and started to immediately work on my laptop. He even offered to let me to stay and watch how he did it in case I needed to do something similar in the future. I stayed and watched him do the entire thing and I was done and out in about one hour. Went above and beyond to explain the different iMacs they had, and their respective specifications. I was looking for one with a particular graphics card for gaming, which would be an i5, but they didn't have one in stock, so they offered to fully upgrade an i3 for us.
