The second repair at a later date was to replace the DVD player. I was in the middle of a Windows 7 system rebuild to eliminate a virus when the DVD player broke. I only expected Mr. Maggiore to replace the DVD, but he went ahead on his own time to complete the system rebuild. That is what I call excellent customer service! He spent about two weeks trying to crack it. Although unsuccessful in the recovery, I feel he deserves 5 stars because he continued to try cracking it with different techniques including brute force attacks and creating an image of the drive even though I told him it was okay if he couldn't recover the data. Eventually, he determined that the drive was corrupted after attempting to create an image of the drive. I would definitely recommend Mr. Cummings as he is very knowledgeable in IT and IS and is willing to do what is necessary to assist anyone in those areas.

Now, I've had my Dell lap top for 5 years but, it has not had the miles put on it like my PC. All black, beautifully stream lined 19" monitor, tower (with more memory than Methuzilah!), key board/mouse for $699.84! BTW that included all the goodies at no extra charge! However, had it not been for my friend (which resulted from my being a customer of his) John (owner/operator of GEEKMAN.BIZ) I would be in a straight jacket right now! He spent 5 hours (at his rate which is the same for me as everyone else) transfering all of my files, insatalling, updating, connecting tweeking this downloading that leaving nothing left for me to do but sign in and re-enter ID'S and passwords etc. Also, next week he will be back to re-evaluate his work, make adjustments (all for no charge) and then begin re-designing my new web site for my sunglasses business. That too at a very reasonable rate. My fellow yelpers' I'm delighted beyond gegabytes! My USP ports runnith over! There is no way I could have done this without him and his expertise. I mean really where do you find PC people that have all of these cool FREE downloads right from their web site: AVG Security, Crap Cleaner, Adware, Microsoft programs for cool sounds...oh the list of good fortune is endless!
