Their reviews as well as overall ratings were what attracted me to use them as well as their experience with split units. My call was answered right away & I was able to get an appointment the next day. That went very smoothly & the technician was very professional & helpful. Unfortunately a while later my Carrier unit's fan motor started making noise. It was Easter weekend, but I called them to see if they could send someone to at least take a look at it. Chris the owner responded to my call & despite being with his family, said he'd be over later that day. When he arrived, he assessed the situation and explained to me that the previous repairs on the ac unit had replaced the fan motor with the wrong size motor for that unit. He took the time to educate me on why the motor was wrong & had resulted in damage to the fan. As a result, both the motor & the damaged fan would need to be replaced. He said he'd work on getting both a new fan and motor for the unit. Unfortunately there were non in stock from the local suppliers as well as LA. We're able to find the right motor & fan at an out of state supplier which was able to ship it UPS 3 day delivery. Parts came a day early, & Chris was there the next day to install both! He again showed me how the new motor & fan were not only the right ones for my unit, but also how it would be more energy efficient as well. Chris is a true professional who genuinely cares for his customers! I'd definitely recommend him to any of my friends in the future!

Thankfully, a storm rolled in and cooled things off just enough to sleep. Chris was awesome--super professional, explained everything step by step, and even took photos to show me exactly what was going on. He found a few lingering issues that should've been addressed by a previous company. His quote was fair, and he gave helpful, budget-friendly recommendations without any pressure. The presentation, inspection, and proposal by John Daps yesterday was low keyed and very informative- and turned out to be $10,000 cheaper than our previous proposal- and he had his crew here by 9:00 AM. Zeke, Arron- and I'm sorry I can't remember the other member- were fantastic- they explained everything, very efficient- and got my cell App set up to interface with the new Control module. I called Paul Mitchell's Air Care (at 9pm by the way), and I was told they could have a tech there within 20 minutes! And, the after hours additional charge was reasonable as well. When the tech arrived, he was able to fix the issue immediately. From Bree in the office to all the techs, everyone here is top notch. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. By July, they admitted the unit was faulty unit and gave us a replacement, but the problems have continued nonstop. Less than a week after the install, we noticed a wet patch on our ceiling caused by faulty plumbing from the heat pump. Today, the blower motor began running continuously. They gave us a 10 AM to 12 PM window to fix it but didn't arrive until 2 PM--where one technician admitted they made a wiring and a second tech denied any errors on their part. They sent out 7 technicians and not one stayed to properly check and test the system before leaving. Nearly a year of continuous breakdowns and endless excuses. Look elsewhere if you value your time and money.

The older unit was on its last legs, and we were concerned about it going out when we had guests staying. Lo and behold, the new unit developed a refrigerant leak and stopped cooling when it was 105 degrees today - and we had guests arriving today. There were a number of complications as their repair techs have been very busy, however, Katie did an amazing job working with us today. She started with us at 7am to coordinate a technician visit. There were complications on their end with sourcing the refrigerant and originally was going to be until tomorrow to finalize the job. We explained that this was going to cost us revenue due to reimbursing guests. She took that to heart, personally went to their storage facility to procure the materials, and then coordinated the work this evening. And to top it off, she called just now at 8:30pm to close the loop and insure we knew it was fixed and tested. KATIE IS A SUNLOGIX ROCKSTAR... please give her and the team a big raise. They deserve it. Additionally, we had our solar system with batteries recently installed. They were priced competitively and sized the system well for our needs. Caitlin Kelley the rep for Sunlogix won the bid as she was thorough with her explanations and understood what we were solving for. The other major factor is the fact that they are local. Once the decision was made the process was smooth and seamless. Caitlin was always available to answer questions and her understanding of her product was impressive. It was also impressive that she understood her competition and could address many things we were told by others. While Sunlogix was not the cheapest bid, we felt that their being local was worth a small premium. On the installation side the crew was terrific.
