My husband and I stopped in today to get manicures and a pedicure for me! Excellent service, lovely music and ambience, my toes look amazing. We came last August and got the same service and this time was even better! We will 100% be back. Love this place.

I have to update my review. I had thought that my nails were just overly sensitive this time around because they hurt badly when the nails and acrylic were applied as well as a day or two after. I decided to let my nails rest after having them removed and found that five nails were filed through and had bleeding under the nail enough scab. This was not fresh blood from removal. They are now splitting and ripping down to the quick where they were filed too much. I really wanted to like this place because the staff was so nice but I have to leave an honest review about the quality of service. I did warn them before getting them done that my nails are on the thin side and to please not file much.

The service here is top notch!! I love how they offer green tea and have lil snacks set up next to the pedicure chair. The vibe is very relaxing and I will def be back. The massages from Mindy are oh so relaxing and adds to the awesome service they give. I loved my mani and pedi and love this place that is in the Arden area. 5/5 would totally recommend!!

Hi everyone, I want you guys to know about superior nails on 2440 Fulton Ave., Sacramento. Myself and my daughter went to superior nails a couple of days ago, and I got a pedicure and a manicure my pedicure they left the nail polish all over even after I explained to them, they did a manicure on my nails my nails look horrible. I'm gonna see if I can add a picture and once she put the hot towel on my arms, the towel smell like somebody had bad feet and I was like oh no what is this and she took it off and she laughed, and when I got a clean towel do not go to superior nails on 2440 Fulton Ave., Sacramento I don't want you guys to lose out on your money these people are horrible

I had to leave without service rendered. I went in to get a gel pedicure and gel manicure. I had a male service provider and he was very rough when drilling/filing, so rough it hurt on almost every nail and I had to say ouch to get him to stop. The drilling method was also weird, it seemed like he was just drilling where he felt instead of using a technique, that is what cause uneven grooves in my nail and the pain. He held the file at a 60 degree and gel and was only using the top of the bit to remove the gel. It was painful. They also tried a gel polish remover I was allergic too, not their fault, but when I complained it was burning they brushed it off. I told them I was sensitive and mentioned I usually get acetone and foil. After my skin was red and swollen from the gel remover and my nails were thin and hurting from over drilling I asked them to stop. I told them I just wanted the manicure. It was difficult to get them to stop! They finally decided to use acetone and cotton like I requested on my toes but the damage was already done. They blamed me for being sensitive, so I decided I didn't want anything done at all. It was very difficult to leave, they were pushy about continuing the service. I had to ask many times for them to stop and used a towel to clean off my own feet. The lady doing my hands did remove the gel by wiping it away, but no alcohol or anything to fully remove it. I gave them $20 and left. I've never had to leave a salon before. I think they were trying to make me happy but we just did not mesh. I wish the business well in the future and hope they try a different gel removal method.

This is another neglected $55 pedi results straight trash!!!!!!!!!!

I was sent to emergency room because of Mindy. It was determined that I had chemical burns in both eyes. I suffered greatly with her trying to remove it and visited another salon to get the job removed and lashes cut which took 2 additional hours. The other shop determined that Mindy used super glue instead of lash glue. This place still has not provided their proper insurance information. The numbers provided said the policy has lapsed. Another contact says a policy doesnt exist. Whats worse is that all employees at the shop kept talking about how cute/sexy it looked. Untrustworthy, unsafe.

My mom and I wanted to get a fill done, we walk and the one lady there gets started with me for my fill and My mom mentioned she has acrylic on her nails and wanted them to redo the set because her nails were lifting then 15 minutes later the dude walks in and asks if she wants builder gel, and my mom like "Okay" like i said she mentioned she had acrylic on her nail, the dude starts filing off the nail polish.. doesn't file off the acrylic my mom says to stop and just remove the polish and they tried to get my mom to do the service all the workers are all around her trying convince her to do it and so my mom gets upset and doesn't do the service, also this place is so unsanitary, person A walks in and says "I want a manicure and a pedicure" perfect get the water on everything, person A puts her feet in then person A gets out and walks away go get something else done, person B walks in and says "I want a pedicure" they put person B feet in the same water as person A. I also was there for 2 and a half hours cause the older lady was taking forever to file. I was very much pissed off and then the workers start harassing my mom to get her service done, each one of them every 5 minutes tried getting her to do a service, there was also a lot of shit talking, making fun of Person A cause she couldn't walk, and filed Person A natural nail down and she specifically told The lady with a nose piercing that these were her natural nails. I won't be coming back here, They all are cunts and I would not waste my time coming here if I was you. And if person B sees this review with the ghost face nails, I am so sorry for your feet, We wanted to tell you but I already knew they didn't like us since we complained.

This is the BEST place for the price. I have been at least 4 times for gel mani, pedis& eyebrow wax. Great price for the service. Extremely friendly staff. I always leave fully satisfied with the results of my nails. Their basic pedicure lasts a long time compared to other shops too. Superior Nails is worth the try. read more

I personally felt that my manicure could have been better, and I was surprised at the lack of a menu detailing services offered and pricing. That was about it for the cons really. Everything else was great, very clean stations and seating area. My pedicure was amazing start to finish especially the massage chairs they have. I would definitely go again for a pedicure read more

My first time here. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. They are absolutely EXCELLENT. I came in to get my acrylic nails removed and then to get a gel manicure. Tom removed my nails for me and he was so gentle. It didn't hurt at all and my nails didn't even break. I wish I asked for the girl who did my gel manicure's nails. She was so sweet. From the moment I made a call to make an appointment until the end of my visit they were so nice. Typically when I try to make an appointment for 6 o'clock (around the time I get off work) at other places, people tell me to make an appointment for the next day. When I called superior nails for an appointment at 6 they were more than welcoming to accept me. Also, at other places when I come in an hour before closing they rush. Here, they took their time to make sure my nails were perfect. These people were wonderful. I highly recommend. read more

Once again.. A five star rank!!!! But this time for a different service.. A lady at a different shop used to do my eyebrows but left to NY. I was stuck for weeks doing my own eyebrows! (what a mistake) I hated the fact that I had to look for someone new to do them. So I decided, since the nail job is awesome.. let me give Superior Nails a try. I LOVE MY EYEBROWS!!! The lady did a great job!!!! Moreover, I didn't get any of those ugly bumps you get after waxing from any other salon! I'm amazed by their professionalism!!!! I definitely recommend them!!!!! I got my nails done about 2 weeks ago here. I absolutely loved the customer service they gave. Super friendly and they did exactly what I wanted. I had Tom do my nails. I got a full set with gel, and a design and I paid 33 dollars. Extremely reasonable, and he did an amazing job. I will definitely be back. read more

It was 9am and I was in such a huge bind! My friend's wedding was at 1:00 and I still hadn't gotten my nails done! I had a specific look I wanted and couldn't find anyone who could do it-until I found Superior Nails on Yelp! The pics were beautiful and they opened at 9:30! I rushed over and waited for them to open. Shortly, these very sweet ladies pulled up and happily let us in!!! I told them my situation and right away they were on it! I couldn't believe the artistry and patience they had! I have never been to a nail salon before where I felt so comfortable while being there and so so SO IMPRESSED with my nails when they were done! As I type this, I find it hard to concentrate as I keep looking at the beautiful art on my nails!!! Thank you to the most amazing mother and daughter nail duo EVER!! First time going to this nail salon and I'm really happy I went! I got a full gel set for $28. The staff is incredibly nice! The salon is somewhat small and there's about 3-4 nail stations (if I'm not mistaken). They have an okay selection of gel polishes and a good selection of regular polishes. Its nice that there's plenty of pics posted on here to display their designs. I'm not that creative with nails so its nice to get inspiration from previous customers :) My only issue is that the acrylic isn't close to my cuticle; which will probably mean a sooner appt for a fill (If that makes sense). However, I really like the shape and my nail tech was really nice. I believe his name was Tom? Lol. Anyways, I'll definitely be back! read more

I have gone here on and off for over a year and had decent service and they had good prices. Last time I went to have Gel removed and a new gel manicure and they really messed me up!! They soaked the gel off then filed the rest with the electric file. Then the top coat they applied repeatedly messed up and each time they used the electric file... so after 3+ times of having them filed done, I hardly had any nails left. Then in the days that followed they all broke down looking jagged and making the gel peel off. It's 3 months later and my nails are almost finished growing out where I can have them done again. But of course I'll be going somewhere else. read more

I got a beautiful ombre with a lovely design for the fall and can't wait to have them do another fun design for Xmas! They are open to doing any design you want and are priced fairly. Didn't ask what I wanted just automatically gave me the most expensive service. The "massage" was like getting a massage from a child, he should probably watch some more YouTube videos. When it came to pay they wouldn't accept card (they should have told me that when I booked the appointment so I'd be prepared with cash) and said their machine was broken and told me to go across the street to the atm and get cash. After a while of me refusing to go to the atm they ran my card and it worked perfectly fine. The lady giving me the actual pedicure was nice enough that was the only part of my experience that was decent. read more

I called in at 11:30am and spoke with a guy to schedule an appointment at 5pm for me and my co worker to go in for a long due pedicure. Upon arriving to my appointment I checked in and all the employees just stared and started laughing at me and my co worker saying "haha appointment" I was confused and asked them what was so funny and the guy just stared and had no response. Another employee said we messed up and can't see you. I asked them so your not going to see us even if we had an appointment? He said no you can come at 6. They all just sat there working and didn't even have eye contact with me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Won't ever come back. read more

Went here yesterday to get a basic pedicure with my boyfriend. They offer other packages for pedicures ranging in the $20-30 range. I typically like to get the basic package because if they're good then it's probably worth getting there expensive packages but unfortunately I was really disappointed and won't be coming back. I felt as if it feet were just washed and toe nails painted and not even well. He definitely rushed my pedicure because other people came in. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on! read more

It's unfortunate that there are customers out there that LIED and came in saying they have an appointment when they didn't as soon as this shop opened back. There was no courtesy for the people that called ahead of time!!! I've been a regular for quite some time and Lee was able to fit me in with how busy they were. I understand that there is a communication barrier since English is their secondary language but they were very nice people and really took their time with my nails, despite how busy they were. I messed up one of my nails while they were drying and lee fixed it up for me ASAP! Will be going back again, as usual! read more

Worst nail shop ever they suck at doing nails!!! My first time going and they are horriable. They did my fill and pedicure at the same time it was horriable the little boy cut my toenails way to short he used a already used pumis stone. All my nails are super crooked. Do not go!!!! They charged me 40 dollars and didnt finish my nails because I was complaining. No stars if I could!!! read more

Nicked me 3x my freshly done nails looks a week old. Crooked edges near the cuticles, the guy glued/painted the acrylic on the edges of my finger an then try to correct it by burning my finger with a nail filer!! This nail salon was in the vicinity of an office I visited for work so I called first to check prices. Their phone service was extremely courteous. I walked in and received a really great pedicure and gel polish. The staff was extremely kind and responsive to requests - helped me match polishes to the gel . It was overall a really great experience and not over the top expensive with outrageous add on services etc. read more

Im not sure how this place got good ratings but they are horrible the guy doing my nails had no clue what he was doing i had to walk him through steps he applied acrylic over my cuticle and used an electric file to get it off i have 2 broken nails that needed tips he didnt put tips at all my thums nails were noticeably shorter than the rest of my nails i have been growning my nails out for 1 year and he ruined them in a matter of 3 1/2 hours and had the nerves to tell me it was going to cost $45 i paid and tipped and the next day my pinky nail chipped i went to Priscilla nails which cost more but their work is freaking amazing and they have professional American made nail products not that cheap crap! Yes I understand it's been awhile as well and inflation is a very real thing. I was excited to come back and Andy was sweet and did a great job. I just can't understand the pricing when at other places it's $40 for a pedicure and $35/40 for fills for the same services. I have never raised my voice, insulted anyone, or behaved disrespectfully. I simply expect quality for the price I pay. She went as far as saying the staff "gets scared" when I come in, which is not only unprofessional but completely false. Throughout the past year, I've also noticed that the staff frequently speaks in their language while looking directly at me or other clients, creating an uncomfortable environment where customers feel talked about instead of respected. This has happened every single time I've visited. To make matters worse, shortly before my service was finished, I overheard another woman complaining about her nail tech as well, proving I'm not the only customer experiencing issues. When I requested a small discount due to the disrespect I received, the salon refused. No apology, no accountability, and no professionalism. After a year of loyalty and hundreds of dollars spent, this is how I was treated. I will not be returning, and I hope management seriously reevaluates how staff communicates with customers and handles feedback.

Yesterday I went to get a pedicure for my birthday! The service was great right away! Andy did an amazing job, from the massage, to the cleaning/scrubbing my feet, to the polish! I was very impresssed! I was told that if I used cash I could get a coupon for a free pizza and a coupon card for a free pedicure after 9 paid pedicures! I left very happy! After I left I went to pick up my daughter from school. As I walked into her school I stubbed my right toe nail on the gate which caused my brand-new toenail to break!! I called the shop and Andy answered and told me to come back!! He fixed it and he and the other worker there were very kind to my daughter! I tried to pay for the inconvenience and he said no it was fine. I will be coming back when I need another pedicure!! Ask for Andy for your next pedicure!! read more
