I have a 30 year old pair of black Wellco/ Ro-Search hot weather army boots I used and abused in…read morethe mid 90s. Special emphasis on SFAS try outs at Camp McCall, NC in 97'. These things were beat to hell. The Panama soles were basically gone and missing a brass grommet on a vent hole of one boot. One week later the brass gromet has been replaced, a new ripple sole installed, and a spit shine was put on as a finishing touch. I'm impressed! I'll be proud to wear these old veterans around Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and Pearl Harbor in the summer of 2026. Thank you!

We have been trying to get my husband a haircut here for quite awhile now. The shop itself looks…read moreamazing from the outside looking in. Their hours are good, but their days open aren't the best for our schedule. He attempted to call for an appointment, but was unsuccessful so decided to show up precisely when they opened on a Tuesday morning. There were no customers in the shop, and he gentleman did not even offer a greeting upon entering the shop. Once spoken to, the barber got off his phone and finally acknowledged my husband. The gentlemen said they had nothing available until 7:45. My husband then proceeded to sit in his vehicle for almost another 20 mins trying to find another open shop before work, and at this point there were still no customers in the shop and his hair could have been finished at this point. This business does not seem very keen on bringing new customers in and we won't be trying that place again and will continue to utilize his normal shop in Fayetteville that accommodates customers, walk-in or not.

We like using the Squire app to book appointment but wish there was an option to pay in person as they do give a military discount (which my husband is military). You can't book without paying upfront and can't get that discount if you book on the app. If you wait to call and book the appointment it will be gone before they open next time. My son had an appointment scheduled with one barber (his favorite) but rescheduled (without talking with me first) with another barber on the same day but a completely different time. If that time hadn't worked for us then he wouldn't have been able to get a haircut and we would've had to wait another week. Instead of just rescheduling themselves I wish they would call the client to make sure it's okay as some clients like to make sure the same barber cuts their hair each time.
