This place blows! I got a massage from some old woman that might as well been the crypt keeper. She had absolutely no strength when giving the massage. I think the "massages" I get when I go to get my toes done is better. The room was fine and the lobby was average but who cares if the service you go for sucks. It was my first time going to a spa and I'm glad I chose this one. I would definitely recommend this place for spa newbies. You will not be disappointed, I wasn't! I just got a facial at this spa and it was definitely worth the money. It was my first time getting a facial and I got assigned to Vivian. Her hands on my face were very gentle and she was very meticulous about her work and got all the nasty blackheads and white heads out. She also explained what she did step-by-step which I really liked because some people poke and prod without telling you what they're doing next and that's really annoying. After the extractions, I also got a nice mini massage which was really relaxing and actually made me forget the pain of extractions. This is definitely a plus. It's been 3 days now and my face looks super smooth and clear. I also like this place because the ladies DON'T PUSH products on you. I read some nightmare posts about other spas on yelp about facial ladies always pushing/ nagging customers to buy products and that doesn't happen here. Phew. I love this place! I try to come for my monthly facials from Sheri. I always request for her as she's the best in the business. I came in today and she asked if I tried the massage which I haven't. So I thought I give it a try. Boy was it worth it! Thi was my masseuse. I always opt for deep tissue and she delivers the right amount of pressure. Don't let the size fool you as she's tall and thin but she has a lot of pressure using her fingers versus elbows to massage. Definitely would be coming back regularly. read more

Worst massage I've ever experienced. I do get massages regularly. I went to use the Groupon I purchased. I wish I would have read their reviews earlier. My therapist was Mimi. I paid for a Swedish massage but she did whatever she wanted. She told me she had 15 years experience which I find very unlikely. She used all pointy elbows, with no forearm or technique, which really hurt. I just spent 2 weeks in Thailand and her attempt at Thai massage or deep tissue ( not sure what she was attempting) was embarrassing and poor. On the neck and shoulders she used no technique and "petted" the area for lack of a better description. She burned me twice with the hot towels and when I told her she giggled and offered no apology. I'm giving it 2 stars because the ambiance was nice, the beds were comfortable, and warm. I will not return here. read more

Just had a multivitamin facial and massage today. Both done by Rose. She is amazing!! The facial was so relaxing and felt so nice. The music in the background was so soothing and soft. After the facial we did the massage. The massage was so incredibly relaxing!!! I didn't plan on the massage originally but so happy I got it after I was there. Rose was perfect, I could have fallen asleep but I didn't want to miss out on the experience. She did just the perfect amount of pressure. My girlfriend and I got a screamin' deal through Travelzoo and were so pleasantly surprised with our visit! What a beautiful place and wonderful staff. I had the best massage ever thanks to Vivian - I usually tense up but I was putty in her capable hands. She was great - just the right amount of pressure for a truly relaxing experience. Still in a stupor from my massage, Hannah came in for my facial which was thorough but painless (sometimes extractions can hurt but not on this visit). She basically continued where Vivian left off, leaving my face feeling deep-cleaned and rejuvenated. I had a $50 Spa Finder gift card that I needed to use. I searched online and found this place as one that accepted the gift card. I looked over their website and found a special for $49.99 on a aromatherapy massage (my favorite) and I figured it was a perfect fit for the card. I called and made my appointment and said that I wanted the aromatherapy massage and asked if I should print out the special from the website. I don't think she understood me but she said yes. I arrive at the spa, it is very nice inside and I was looking forward to it. I spoke with the gal (forget her name now, but she said she was new) and gave her my flyer, she went in back and got the Manager/owner(?). The Manager said that the spa is under new management and that they don't accept the special I gave her from the website. She said if I wanted that she could give it to me for $10.00 more. I said fine. Then they wanted me to pay up front, so I get my gift card and my debit card out to pay for the difference and tip. The new gal didn't know what the Spa finder GC was, so she had to go in the back and ask. She came out and said, just pay the whole thing with your debit card. I told her no. She said she couldn't take the card and seemed very confused. After all of that, I said never mind I would take my business elsewhere, they were such a hassle. She didn't say anything and watched me leave. There was no one else in there and now I think I know why. read more

Wow, what a nice setting and atmosphere inside. The receptionist was very nice and professional and I got an amazing facial and massage. I arrived on time for my appointment and in 3 minutes I was wisked away into a beautiful room for a wonderful facial. My face felt like a million bucks when it was over. I then was directed to another room for a wonderful massage. The room was beautiful with lights dimmed low and soothing music. I was given a choice of light, medium, or firm massage and I chose light to medium and it was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep. I felt so rested and peaceful when it was over. REVIEW FOR FRONT DESK CUSTOMER SERVICE: I usually check yelp reviews before purchasing Groupon or Travelzoo vouchers. My fault for not doing a thorough search on this one. Lesson learned...not only read yelp reviews but also call before purchasing voucher to see if the establishment is professional. I called today to find out which therapists is the most seasoned. I spoke with Julie who gave me four therapist names that she would recommend based on my preference. Told her I would speak to my friend and then call her back to schedule appointments. I called back within 3 minutes and asked to speak with Julie. I was told she was not in. That was very strange....I can see 3 hours later but in 3 minutes or less, she was not in?? The lady I spoke with the second time sounded like the same lady I spoke with earlier, but hard to say since she had an accent and so did Julie. She took my name and number and said Julie will call back. She asked for the date I was interested in and if I had a voucher. Nothing against Asians as I am Asian as well, but when it comes to running a business and customer service, you need to have people who speak and comprehend English fluently. If this is any indication of how our massage experience is going to be, I am not looking forward to it. But, at this point what are we going to do? Hopefully, the massage experience will be night and day compared to the appointment booking experience. Stand by for updated review after my massage. I'm only giving 1 star for now for the poor customer service and communication. ** UPDATED REVIEW ** I received a call back from the Julie the owner. so this is a cute little boutique spa located in an odd place...the outside left much to be desired...but as soon as you walk in...WOW. they have certainly done a beautiful job decorating the place! plus the room where i received my treatment...looked so perfect i almost didn't want to touch the bed and ruin the setting! service is outstanding! i used a travelzoo voucher where i paid $69 for a 1hr thai massage, 1/2 hour facial and 1/2 hr thai yoga therapy. they did the massage and yoga part together, and Vivian was excellent. the facial was abbreviated but just fine...(i was really there for the massage!) the only thing that bugged was how cold it got (but it was like over 90 outside so the air conditioning was fabulous at first) but as soon as i mentioned it they added blankets to make sure i was comfy which was really nice~ there is only one bathroom, and one shower...so this isn't as well equipped like Burke Williams or other big spas...but the service, the beauty and serenity of the place...plus the ridiculously affordable pricing...um yeah, i will be back! this is the ONLY reason i give it a 4 out of 5 stars. as i was checking out, they offered me the same exact deal with NO LIMIT and NO EXPIRATION. say what???? if i had the $$$$ i would have bought a dozen! but seriously, with all the existing spa vouchers i have with other places and my budget being kinda tight, i only bought 2! wah! next time i go back i will cross my fingers and see if they have any other deals like this...SO worth it!!!! with this tight economy, i want to stretch my $$ as much as possible! i do believe that even with a budget, we can fit some vital me time and indulge ourselves once in a while....this place certainly allows me to do that, and is now on my short list of go to spas~ read more

Came in on a whim as a walk-in, and they were able to take me right away. $39 for an hour-long Swedish massage - amazing! The rooms are super nice, with music and candles. My massage therapist was extremely thorough, working out all the knots and tension in my neck and shoulders. My only real complaint is that they had me pay upfront - having my yet had the massage, I gave an 18% tip, but I absolutely would have gone the full 20% if they'd charged me afterwards! I was visiting Orange County for the weekend and found this place through travelzoo deals. I received a 60-min massage and a 60-min facial. The place was nicely decorated and clean. The rooms a bit small but the massage and facial were great and very relaxing. For the massage, I did receive the full Thai treatment, meaning the masseuse did climb on top of me so I'm warning you now so you know what to expect. It was nice that the massuese stretched me out at the beginning of the massage, just to get the blood flowing. I would definitely come back to this place if I was visiting Orange again. read more

I visited for my first time yesterday. I got a groupon as a gift for a 60 min Swedish massage. I've been saving this lovely escape for two months, ready to unwind from a stressful first half of my summer. The ambiance of the establishment was pleasant throughout and service was prompt. My room was nicely set up, low lighting w a flat screen. Music playing off PS console, so it had nice hue of colors as the display background. Turned out that I got a slight upgrade, Thai + Swedish hour massage, and became a fan of the combo style right away. I've had plenty of massages to know my usual Swedish style. Thai style added a nice, stretching aspect to my muscles and limbs. Wow. I felt absolutely amazing afterwards, Sheri did a fantastic job! As the questionnaire says that you fill out on your first time visit, make sure to let them know during the session if the pressure is too much or little. She adjusted perfectly when I mentioned it. The one downside I will mention, is their regular prices are a bit high for my price range. I scheduled another massage, only because they had a special. Other than prices, I had no problems, very pleased and will come back. :) read more
