Let's just say the eggplant parm was good but not for the $20 price tag. 2 slices of soggy eggplant not even crispy some dried not fresh pasta and cheese not even a garnish. The portion size was great for a geriatric and should have cost $10 tops. I remember when this place gave huge portions for a great price what happened? I've lived on the Northshore my entire life and have driven by this place trillions of times and never gave it a thought nor did anyone ever recommend going here. So, tonight I went for the very first time with mixed emotions about the food. What drew me in was the entertainment for the evening -- a group I follow. Needless to say, the group was fantastic. The pizza was so not. The crust seemed to be pre-made and frozen purchased that way and not freshly tossed. The service was pretty disappointing as well. When the pizza arrived to share on a platter, we only had bread plates and the waitress expected us to use those. I had to ask for a dinner plate! Asked for a dessert menu which did not list any prices so I passed. Coffee was meh as well and they do not serve espresso. I'll be back, but only for the entertainment when my favorite group returns. Had takeout here tonight. Extremely disappointed. Usually find that they have generous servings. I ordered an eggplant parm sub that was so lacking in eggplant that at least one quarter of the sub was just bread. I am sure that they have cut back on serving sizes due to increase costs but I would have been better with paying an extra dollar or two and actually gotten a decent meal. Barbecue steak tips were marginal at best as the sauce managed to hide the lack of flavor of the steak. Boasting its roots in Italian cooking and a family place since 1972, We came to Supino's for lunch since I had been craving pasta after having my fill of seafood during our New England adventures. Upon entry, we were told to sit anywhere so we grabbed a corner booth and were promptly attended to by the waitress. Bring your phones for the online menu via QR code and you'll see an array of different items to choose from. I decided to order the chicken parm with spaghetti and she went for the French dip at jus. As the food was served it appeared to be well plated and enticing. Unfortunately, on first bite, the age old flavor of metal can lining overtook my mouth and I was so disappointed. I can't say for sure if they use canned sauce here or not but if they don't, something they use sure does give it that flavor and I tasted nothing in that sauce that would indicate otherwise. The pasta was cooked al dente as I like it but another unfortunate find was the pool of water at the bottom of my dish indicating the lack of proper draining prior to plating. As an Italian Restaurant, I would expect these simple things to be a standard and never an issue. The chicken was good and there was a generous amount of cheese covering it with a crisp coating. The French dip was equally unexciting as the beef was not as tender as one would expect and the au jus didn't taste like it was made with the juices of a slow cooked roast but rather a seasoning packet. Overly salty and somewhat bitter. They did a great job with the tater tots though. Nice a golden brown and crispy. I can't say I'll return here as it was underwhelming at best and its a shame as I feel at one time they probably were a great place to dine based on the older reviews I've seen. Maybe they can make a come back with a focus on food quality and better service. None of our drinks were refilled by our waitress either. She came about 5 feet near our table, looked at the half full water glass, gave a thumbs up and walked away not even noticing my coffee cup was empty. Two stars. This is where you go if your looking for a casual, relaxing place to grab a bite. I love the popcorn, beer, salads and the pizza! If you are looking for a fancy place with fancy food this is not it, but if you are looking for a quality meal at a reasonable cost, where you can catch a game and grab a beer, this is the place. I have only ordered the pizza and salads. The buffalo chicken pizza is GREAT! There is a good amount of chicken and the sauce is spicy but not too too spicy. The other night we ordered the Steak bomb pizza which i thought was good too, but I would say I prefer the buffalo. If you are around the area it is worth a try. read more

I have driven past here for years and thought how cute and fun does that place look. I read the menu online and it was mother's day so I had free choice of where to go. I knew my little ones would love some pasta and the menu was pretty good for everyone. We pulled up it was 815pm on mother's day and we got a parking space up front right near the door. This should have been a sign to me but I thought it was later and a Sunday so maybe we just got lucky. We went in and there was no one at the hostess station only someone at a Keno station. She smiled and said someone would be back. Then nothing for some time. A girl with a sweater ran up to a table of two young girls who had just "flown in" and clearly worked there and were visiting. She got them drinks and then after sitting for a while chatting got up and walked over to the hostess station and asked us how many. I was confused but said 5 with 2 kids menus. Was she the hostess? If so that was really unprofessional. She sat us down at a table that was set but dirty with dirty napkins on the floor. There were two other families sitting down and a handful of Bar/Keno folks sprinkled at the bar area. The place was pretty empty. I realized we only had one kids menu and had to go up and ask for another. I had to tap the girl on the shoulder sitting at the table with her friends to get one. She seemed like it was a weird ask and said I don't know if we have anymore. She eventually found 2 and said it was my lucky day. (Don't they have printers for these? They had the crayons? very weird). There was a woman who was working the bar and another woman going in and out of the bar space. The woman going in and out of the bar space had exceptionally long hair and we would come to find out she was the manager of the night. Which was a surprise because she was making drinks for the table of girls that were employees and made herself one too. They would pop over and drink a sip and then continue on to roaming about the restaurant. The bartender was the only one who was actually working. Staff from the kitchen came out to visit this table of girls as well. Some even brought food and sat down and ate with them. The hostess got a stack of checks from the hostess station and handed them out to them. One of the girls who had just "flown in" was holding 3 paychecks at least and smoking a vape in the restaurant. She was blatant and blew the smoke into the "managers" direction while talking to her about something. Keeping the pink vape on the table and sampling it throughout the night. The manager began to roll some silverware and then just left it out on a table next to ours like a work station for herself. She switched to a bottle of blue gatorade to drink from. We had been "waited on" by the bartender at this point and then an actual waiter came from another part of the restaurant asking if we needed drinks and we explained the bartender had already helped us. She came over with him and they discussed who was going to work the table. He was. So he took our order the rest of the night. He seemed flustered and a little overworked but seeing as there was this party table of employees and him and the bartender were the only ones doing anything, it made sense. The food was good actually. It came out in big portions and well made. We took most of it home in to go containers ultimately. The kids food was brought out first which was a great move by the waiter. However the table of employees eating drinking and one girl vaping continued to get larger. It was a mess in this place. Clearly someone was not taking working here seriously because who allows staff to do this and behave this way whether on the clock or not. If I did this when I worked in restaurants and bars I would've been fired. Eventually we pay the bill and I ask if there is a manager because I feel like they must be absent and I am told nope she is here and I am presented with the woman I had seen drinking mixed drinks and doing very little including allowing "off the clock" staff to vape in the restaurant. Did I still confront her when she showed up at the table with the waiter, yes I did. Did I bring up her drinking, yes I did. She said she would tell the owner directly. Which of course I cant imagine. She also said it was a mixed drink sans the alcohol and she always drank that when she was working. Which I find odd. I watched her make the drink. Even if I hadn't I can tell you staff should not be leaving drinks at tables and sipping from them throughout the evening. You keep some water in the back. Never out on a table with customers. The whole thing was a disaster. I will never go here again despite how good the food was. I can see this restaurant on one of those bar disaster shows. The girl with the vape seemed pissed I told on her and was trying to stare me down as I left with my family. The other table goers were giggling and saying "oh stop". I stared back. We waited 20+ minutes to order our food, and another 40 for it to come out... keep in mind it is not even busy, Monday early afternoon... We finished our drinks by the time the food came, So we asked for more water... the waitress proceeded to get drinks for several other tables and then completely disappeared for 10 minutes. Thought we would drop in for some Italian Food our last day in Danvers MA. I was going to go with the Gnocchi but as soon as I saw Eggplant Rollentini on the menu, I HAD to try it. This delicious eggplant stuffed with spinach, ricotta and mozzarella cheese, served with your choice of pasta will definitely fill you up!!! The Eggplant was sliced pretty thin but the stuffing made up for the lack of meat on the eggplant. Getting into the place IS A NIGHTMARE!!! Basically 2 access points, 1 through a gas station entrance and the 2nd is basically on the onramp of the HIGHWAY!! Needless to say, we missed BOTH and entered the highway in the attempt to find the entrance to the Restaurant! We ALMOST said screw it, but decided to double back about 6 miles of clover leaf exits and entrances on to multiple roads, and FINALLY got into the cramped parking lot. THANK GOD the food was worth it!! This is a Restaurant / Bar & Grill so don't think your coming to a fancy Italian restaurant. But the food is worth the trip. We decided to meet some friends for dinner Saturday night at Supino's in Danvers. We had reservations. When we got there the place was packed but we were seated within 5 minutes anyway. Our server Beth came over fairly quickly and took our drink order. When she came back we ordered an appetizer. Drinks and the appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. We ordered our main course which also came out in a reasonable amount of time. We got the Chicken Bella bocca, chicken parmesan, steak tips and Veal saltimbocca. All the meals were very delicious and portions were plentiful as we all took half home which made a great dinner last night! Drinks and food are reasonably priced unlike other restaurants these days. The end of the night we had the Tiramisu and it was amazing I give Supino's 5 stars in service, food, pricing and overall experience. Beth our server was excellent. Definitely going back! read more

The reason for my 3 stars is the rude older host lady. When I walk into a restaurant i at least would like to be greeted with half a smile. She doesn't even do that and she has the WORST attitude I have ever met. The rest of the staff is amazing, the food is amazing but she ruins your whole experience. This place is just horrible..... This is the second time I have been to supinos and I cannot believe how RUDE every staff member that works there is to paying customers. The first time I went to supinos me and some friends were there getting food and drinks when we decided to go outside to smoke a cigarette then all of a sudden 2 bartenders came outside chasing after us screaming saying that we didn't pay our bill. We calmly said that we were just taking a quick smoke break then coming back inside. When we came back inside to finish our drinks and pay our bill (that the bartenders accused my friend and I of trying to walk out on) they accused my friend AGAIN of not paying his bill when we all saw him pay before leaving and then the bartenders tried to charge us twice for his bill. The second time we tried supinos was just a couple of days ago with some more friends as soon as we sit down at a table our waitress takes all of our ids to put through a scanner. She comes back and says she can't take 2 ids which were a new Massachusetts id and a Maryland id. After showing her 5 other forms of id she says she still can't take them. Then the "manager" comes over who does not even look at the other forms of id and is totally ignorant and says the scanner will not read them and that we cannot be served. (Mind you he does not even apologize for not being able to take our ids) Do not waste your time or money even stepping foot in this place. read more

My husband and I started a pizza tour of the North Shore and surrounding areas. We recently visited Supino's and neither of us have been there for years. We had the Antipasto which was out of this world. We also order the Roman Holiday pizza. We were disappointed because we just didn't get the garlic kick that we were expecting. I think that if the garlic had been roasted prior to adding to the pizza it would have made a big difference. The garlic used was raw and minces. Unfortunately, I can only give this 3 stars because of this. The service was wonderful and we may go back to give this another try. read more

i'm sorry to say that I recent experience with their catering service was found to be seriously lacking, both in their service and the quality of their food. I placed an order 48 hours ahead and asked at that time if they wanted my credit card payment. Their response was that I could pay when it was delivered. An hour before our luncheon was to be delivered, I received a call from supinos to confirm my order and the time of delivery. They said it was all set and I again stressed the time we needed our lunch delivered. I asked again if they wanted payment and they said no. At the time we were expecting our lunch to be delivered I received a call asking me for my credit card info for payment. I asked if our lunch was on its way and was told that it would be, as soon as the payment was processed. I expressed my disappointment that delivery was late and they said they would get it to us right away. It was 45 minutes later that our lunch arrived and it was cold. The food items were sub par. They failed to send any salad dressing for our large antipasto salad, the chicken Parm was lacking sufficient sauce and the egg plant parm was thinly layered. Our family dines regularly at Supinos, and have held many large events at their Danvers location. This experience was very disappointing. read more

I had a great experience here with the munchkin... except that they ran out of the beer I liked. They also serve more food per order than most couples I know can eat per person. Literally the portions were gigantic which is both good and bad... Pro Tip #1: They give out free fresh popcorn. Great for the bar but with dinner tables all around the bar, it makes it kinda funny to be chewing on some popcorn in between bites of Italian grub. Our hostess/waitress was vegan and was totally unenthused about the menu till the vegans sat down at the next table over! At least give us some suggestions and done in a good light. Seriously I could almost feel your hatred of those who eat meat and enjoy it that delicious murder of innocent but yet tasty animals. Too bad you were not able to smile till the indian couple came in and the guy said he was vegan so you could witness to him the wonderousness of your eggplant something or other. Honestly it made me sick to see they were the only table within my site that you were actively happy with the patrons. Pro Tip #2: The bread is pizza dough and OMG it is to die for! ohhh pepper n sun dried tomato infused olive oil for dipping! This is a must have more of kinda item, carbs or not, it was soooooooo awesome. I had asked for a referral by the hotel for a locals only joint and this definitely fit the bill. It seemed that 90% of the patrons were regulars with regular seats at the bar or amongst the tables. It also appears that they do a lot of takeout. So much so that inside the restaurant they have a deadicated hole in the wall to it. I also noticed in the brief few seconds that the munchkin and I were waiting to be seated that they had 3 customers come in and leave as fast as you can snap your fingers... literally it was about a minute or minute and a half and they were out the door! Pro Tip #3: The bathroom is down in the bowels of the restaurant... literally! quite aprapo for its placement IMHO... The munchkin ordered a cheese pizza. Yeah I was stunned but in a good way. Her pizza pie was garlicly and awesome. I think it was the second best thing I had there, after the pizza bread =) I got the red meat sauce over rotini or some other spiral pasta. It was good but not as good as the kids cheese pizza and twice the price but four times the food. I could barely eat half of it. Heck we werent even able to finish off the kids pizza till driving north the next day on our way to Maine. So it is a tasty lil locals jaunt and worth going to again if I was in the area. So my girlfriend and I wanted to have a nice dinner tonight. We had never been here before so we tried it out. We got to our table and the seats were all ripped and we were sitting on foam. So we ordered are food and 30 minutes later our food came and the order was wrong. When the waitress brought the correct order it wasn't cooked all the way, how do you screw up ravioli.... Also my French fries weren't cooked and tasted like raw potato. As I looked around there were spider webs on the woodwork right next to my head so it's not like it was out of reach to clean. This place needs to be cleaned and remodeled and need to learn how to cook food. So if you want to go deaf from loud terrible music. Eat raw food. Once again we found ourselves travelling down Rte 1. It was becoming late & we were hungry. We spy Supino's--haven't been there in years. Now we know why! The place was packed w/regulars, "bar flies", & families. The place is dated & could use a good cleaning/refurbishing. There's a bar dominating the main dining room. And, there's KENO & a help yourself popcorn machine. We had to ask for bread because we were so hungry, but it took a long time, was nothing but almost burned pizza dough & served w/an unmixed wannabe dipping oil. Getting popcorn is never explained to us. The waitperson recommended the Baked Mac n Cheese (a favorite of their's they have gotten over the years). We asked what the 5 cheeses were in the 5-cheese blend that goes into their sauce & were told, "I don't know, I'll go ask...." We order & it takes forever to get the dishes--even for the accompanying salad which was nothing special. So, when our dinners finally did come out, here's our experience: For $12.49, we got a plate of probably supermarket grade ziti bathed in a thin, watery sauce, topped w/under cooked breadcrumbs. The sauce was flavorless!! This was not good! How can you make a bad mac n cheese?! And for $12.49!! --(Never did find out what was in that sauce.) We also got the Alfredo Pollo Portobello. (We usually like all three components of this type of dish, though portobellos don't usually go in a dish like this.) Well, for $14.49 what we got was a flavorless mound of that same supermarket linguine instead of the described fettucine we'd hoped for, mixed w/odd hunks of chicken in another flavorless sauce, topped w/dark cubes of undefinable seasoned mushrooms (tasted nothing like portobello & the seasoning added insult to injury). Yuck!! When you are hungry, isn't food supposed to taste better?! Even adding generic grated cheese & crushed red pepper flakes didn't help. We couldn't eat either dish & are not giving the place another try. read more

This is one of the best buffalo chicken pizzas I've ever had and I'm an avid buffalo chicken pizza eater. Whatever cheese they use just tastes so delicious paired with the buffalo chicken which is nice and spicy. If you like a good spicy chicken pizza you will NOT be disappointed I promise. read more

This is not the place to make a special trip for or to be impressed with or to have a special night other than getting buzzed It's basically a local dive place. Play keno while you wait for the food. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger well with only ketchup and pickles. Recieve a beacon cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato with pickles chopped up like relish on the side so I can't even put them on the burger. That's cool. And the burger bun itself is friggin stale. Thought you could just toast the last burger bun out of the roll of them instead of toasting me a new bun. Thanks for my dinner. Call yourself a restaurant? More like quick and sloppy. Place is dingy, full of older people. No offense to them...but the place wasn't "poppin'". It isnt a fancy place and all we wanted to do was watch the Rangers game and have drinks. We had a foreigner in our group who complied with the rules of showing ID. But they didnt accept it. Why...i dont know. This isnt a FANCY place...we ended up going to another spot...which WAS fancy... And they accepted her ID. They need to change their policy.
