I have passed this place many times and I saw the sign for FRESH CRAWFISH so I was excited because I've been waiting for crawfish season, so my husband and I decided to give it a try! We were greeted by the hostess she was nice and welcoming. Our waiter was also very attentive and helpful, so service was great. We ordered fried calamari to start with but I gotta say that calamari was not good, it looked like nuggets and didn't taste like it.. so we were hoping the crawfish would be better and worth trying and we were not disappointed. Ok review. - Michelada was NOT good. Cajun Edamame - good and my lips were on fire for a dang hot minute!!!! Deal #4 - snow crab and shrimp in supreme Cajun sauce very yummy and about average price for a good boil but they need better tools for cracking them suckers! My husbands fish from his shrimp and fish basket was over cooked. And no hush puppies or slaw with a fish basket???? What!!!! Overall - even with the fish being over done I think we will go back. No plans on returning. Met 3 friends for lunch. 2 of the 4 of us ordered salad, and were told they had no lettuce at 11:30 am so not the end of the day. One person in our party ordered a combo. They ask you to chose a seasoning. She asked for one on the fish and another on the shrimp. She was told no. Pick one. In those words. No pleasantries. We split 2 appetizers. They were fine. Not fresh - frozen/fried. Sauces/dips appeared to be store bought as well. Nothing was bad, but nothing was impressive either. Will stick with our other 2 faves for seafood in Denton. read more

Really good boil. We had a generous boil shared between 5 of us and added 3lbs of crawfish in supreme Cajun spicy. It wasn't spicy enough at spicy so next time I'll go extra spicy but I love heat on crawfish. The food was really good. The service was decent. My only gripe is it was pretty expensive. Still in soft opening mode. They do not offer kid size portions. You must buy a full priced adult meal. My husband ordered the fried catfish, he said that was a very tasty dish. My daughter had chicken fingers and fries. I tried the garlic noodle bowl with shrimp. I was disappointed in the portion size as it was very small for the price. The noodles are buttered noodles with 6 shrimp on top with roasted garlic on top. Nothing comes with the pasta meal, all sides are a-la-cart. Well, either they got bought out I'll decide to change the menu and nausea the worst, and then they took with Winnie and clams off the menu and added some shrimp and linguine, which look like leftovers the portions were small and the food was bad. Our server recommended the seafood boil, so that's what we got--a boil of crab legs and shrimp. It was mind-blowingly good. This was a very messy meal, but it's served with a bib, gloves, wipes, the whole nine yards. The ability to choose your spice level was also nice. Several sauces to choose from and a wide variety of seafood dishes, including a lobster roll, which I don't think I've seen offered in Texas before. The boil was served in a tied plastic bag. Sophia, our server, was very helpful with recommendations and opened our bag of food like a pro. The kitchen was insanely fast with serving as well--we're talking less than five minutes from ordering to serving. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Our hopes were high upon entering the restaurant to have a southern crab place close to home. The wine list consisted of the choices of white, Cabernet, one more. The menu was limited as well. My husband ended up ordering fish with sweet potato fries. The fish filets were very thin & mostly batter. I ordered the soft shell crab & sweet potato fries. The crab was served whole surrounded by batter with server recommendations to the fact that they are to be eaten whole-shell and all. I was able to eat the tiny legs but could not eat the body area with all (for the lack of a better word) the guts. The sweet potato fries were good so I am able to give them one star. It's horrible u have been warned place is dead and everywhere else was packed I got calamari which was the size of chicken tenders and chese sticks and don't think was cooked thru. Meal was served in commercial steam bag so arrived to my table like trash. Was told was fresh after I opened bag I again asked and they said yes just defrosted. Was told I got 5lbs of seafood close to maybe 2 had to go ask for everything and look for waiter never got refills until check menu states no refund.. steam bag food was warm and some was not I know why I am throwing up...take the trash bag and thow away if not spend a day or two over the can read more

Your mileage is going to vary at this place. If you stick with the boiled items, you will have a better experience. The problem comes when you order items that they prepare from frozen fare. Example, their fried oysters are frozen and simply horrific. Beware!!! There shrimp and crab legs are ok frozen. They work out ok. But oysters are gross when frozen then they attempt to batter and fry. Gross!! read more

Our experience here was overall bad. Our server was immediately rude and not friendly at all. I was scared to ask questions because she automatically acted annoyed as if we were bothering her by asking stupid questions. I was like "well hopefully the food will make up for the bad service" I was wrong. My daughter ordered the shrimp pasta and it was full of garlic and could taste nothing else. We ordered the broil. Everything was squishy and not fresh at all. They didn't give us utensils to open all the shellfish so trying to open everything was very hard. We ordered the extra spicy flavor and it was not spicy at all and instead had a sweet taste to it. They did have karaoke and we're having people sing and the ambiance was lively but other than that our experience was not good. I really wanted to like it because my son loves broils and wanted to find a good place nearby instead of driving to Shell Shack in Ft Worth but I guess that's what we'll continue to do because this place was just horrible. read more

Brought the family for a night out to eat seafood. The kiddos got the fish baskets and enjoyed them. My wife and I had a dozen oysters. They were very clean but small. She ate the blackened salmon with rice. I ate the boiled crawfish and shrimp. Everything was delicious !! Will have to make another trip to eat. read more

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We ate there on a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn't busy at all. Server was very attentive and quite good at what she did. The food, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. My wife had fried catfish and I had baked white fish. For $13.99, my wife got one filet and enough French fries for four people. It was a pretty ridiculous portion. For $16.99, I got one small filet, broccoli, and rice. I asked for dirty rice instead and there was a $2 up charge. My fish was tasty and well cooked, but the amount was pathetic. The rice was cold and stuck together and the broccoli had some type of pepper sauce on it. Who ever heard of hot broccoli? Wife's fish was very muddy tasting, like catfish can have a tendency to get. I ordered ice tea and it looked like dirty water. Was not even the color of tea. I won't be going back. There are suddenly a plethora of Cajun seafood places in our area, and every one that I've tried puts Supreme Crab to shame. Such a disappointment. read more

I had crawfish with supreme Cajun extra spicy. It was garlicky and very good. The spice was perfect for me as I don't like it too hot to enjoy. My lady had the oyster hoagie and it was stuffed with a lot of oysters. The waitress was good too. We'll be back! read more
