If you find yourself rolling through North Plains and your stomach starts making decisions for you,…read moredo yourself a favor and pull over at Ariel's Kitchen. I wasn't expecting much more than a quick bite but what I got was a full-on flavor experience. Let's start with the chicken nachos... absolute perfection. Crispy chips loaded with tender, seasoned chicken, melted goodness, and all the right toppings stacked like they knew exactly what they were doing. Every bite hit like it was planned. Then came the chicken Gordita's thick, warm, and packed with flavor. The kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod your head. You don't even need to say anything. And the street tacos? Three of them, done right. Fresh radish, cilantro, onion simple, clean, and made to perfection. No shortcuts, no nonsense just straight-up quality. This isn't just "good for a food truck." This is some of the best I've had, period. If you're anywhere near North Plains, this spot is worth the stop, the detour, and probably a second visit before you even leave town.

I was reluctant to order since I initially came to have pho but being the pho cart was closed my course shifted to here and I am so glad it did. I ordered tamales and got carried away. Literally inhaled the tamales and cried to myself for not having ordered more.

The painting on the walls and furniture is very festive! I love how they have different seating area rooms to spread guests out for privacy. They also have a covered outdoor seating area available. Staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. I read reviews about their complimentary chips, salsa and bean dip. We asked for the bean dip, but we found out when we received our bill that it's not complimentary anymore. Bummer. It was good, but not worth the extra $5. They were extremely generous with their chips and salsa, so in the end we were okay paying the extra $5. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and charbroiled burger. Both were great! Fresh ingredients. The quesadilla wasn't greasy at all. Neither were the chips! Our server recommended the pollo asada for my quesadilla and it was much appreciated. The seasoning on the chicken was delicious, including the charbroiled flavor. Overall a wonderful first visit here. We'll definitely be back! Would highly recommend.

These 3 drinks were very tart...so we asked the waitress if possibly the orange liquor was missing. The bartender, Ryan came to our table, hands on his hips, proceeded to tell us he did not forget the orange liquor...and how many years he had been a bartender! He then turned and walked away. Unwilling to let him spoil the evening, we ordered 3...$4.50 shots of grand marnier & added it to our...already $18.00 drinks....making a huge difference. There were 4 of us at the table...we all felt insulted. This is an example of very poor customer service.

Located at the Portland State Farmers Market, this is a great start to your day!…read more Very simple menu - all the burritos come with: - Eggs scrambled with hatch green chile, seasoned potatoes, and tillanook cheese in warm flour tortilla. You have the option of just eggs (as the protein), or you can choose to have it with bacon or sausage, or bacon AND sausage. As of March 2026, it starts at $8 for the basic; $9 for bacon or sausage; and $10 for both bacon and sausage. You'll know where they are by the crowd waiting for their burritos (or the line I suppose - when I went, there was no line but apparently there are times when there are lines). The burrito was good, but the salsa is the reason I would return. The salsa (both of them) are amazing!

Bacon was nice and crisp. Loved the addition of the pepper in it and the salsa's were great and really complemented the burrito. One of the best breakfast burritos I've had in Portland. Could have been a tad bigger but I left full so no complaints. Price: $9 for Bacon or Sausage Breakfast Burrito. $10 for Both. Reasonable prices for a Breakfast Burrito. Service: Walk-up service but everything was good. Parking: Street parking. I was able to find pretty easy parking despite a crowded farmers market.
