Trying this place for the first time. It's found under Mexican cuisine but it's more a Central American Latin influenced cuisine. You order at the counter and order off the menus posted on the wall. Once you order you take your seat. On this day, Sunday the restaurant was pretty empty. Only one other couple. Nice Spanish music and tv going in the background. We ordered empanadas, arepas and plátanos fritos. The a prepas were a little on the tough side. Managing with a knife wasn't enough. I had to break mine with my hand. The chicken filling with lettuce, tomatoes and sauce had a good flavor though the chicken was dry. The frijoles were good but lacked salt. Just a pinch would elevate the flavor. The fried plantains were tasty and ask i expected.

We've been driving past this place for years and my daughter finally ate here she told us this place is a great place so we finally went and boy oh boy was she right the service was amazing she took our orders and as we sat down let us know that the food might take a minute but we didn't mind because the aroma reminded me of going to a family house party when food is being prepared and everyone is waiting well the plates arrived and what a beautiful sight they were and taste to match everything tasted very fresh and flavorful take a look at the pictures and I do hope you visit this place the price is worth every bite thanks for your time .

There's some cuckoo construction going on Cornelius Pass road but don't let that stop you from visiting the Antojitos House. Plenty of seats inside while you wait for traffic to subside. They have a variety of bites from arepas, pupusas to Honduran eats like baleadas (homemade flour tortilla with beans) and tajadas (green banana/plantain topped with yummy stuff). The proprietor is super friendly and explained the menu to us. I think my fave is the baleadas - very filling and good, especially with avocado and chorizo. This isn't fast food btw, it's fresh homemade eats!

A couple small oops, but a yummy first visit! We didn't see the restaurant to begin with, drove right past it further into the shopping complex. Of course, after I finally noticed it I also noticed the folding sign right out on Cornelius that I missed. The place isn't grand by any means, but they're pumping out some pretty grand treats. We placed our order at the counter, planning to just eat outside in the car. Mistake...the food here really isn't the easiest to eat in the car. After reading reviews about their amazing empanadas we chose an array: the ground beef, chicken, and potato. We also got an order of taco dorados to share. It was a bit of a wait, but by all means it's worth it when food is made fresh. The empanadas came out SCALDING hot, so much so we had to set them aside and dive into the tacos, which were very crunchy....pretty small, but tasty with a nice cream sauce. I noticed once we turned to the empanadas that the raved about avocado dipping sauce was nowhere to be found. Thank goodness we were eating outside and could run back in for it...I would've been pretty bummed to have missed out...the sauce is indeed yummy. All of the empanadas were great, very good flavors in each. One note though, they were as greasy as they were good. They served them up on paper towels for drainage, and it was a good thing. Definitely let them drain a bit while they cool. One of our 2 chicken empanadas was only half full once we broke into them...but again, taste won out. Scrumptiously good food. Yes they were greasy. Yes they forgot the precious dipping sauce. Yes one half-full empanada. YES, I'll be back....and probably soon.

This place has been on my radar for a bit since we drive by all the time. Today was the day we decided to stop in. I'm kicking myself for not stopping so many times before. The food came out fairly quickly and was definitely very tasty. The crema that accompanied the empanada was very tasty. I would order a bucket of that if I could! I ordered the carnitas sopes and hubby tried the yuca frita with chicharrones. Tasty food and we will definitely be back again soon.

The empanadas and the avocado sauce are reason enough To come back again. They are sever crispy and hot. This is a must and probably what they do best. The arepas was flavorful and the pork was very good, however it came to me cold. If I wasn't looking for the place I would have never noticed it. Its a place you come for the food only.

Solid first visit. The empanadas were 5 star worthy. Really good! Got a cheese and a chicken. Both hot and tasty. The green sauce with it was a perfect dip for it. I believe an avocado sauce. The chicken arepa I had was really good. I ate it all rather quickly. Not quite as good as what I had at QKenon in Orlando, but authentic and really good. I'd definitely get it again. The beef sopes were a little disappointing. Just didn't have a lot of flavor. Maybe chicken or pork would be better. The main reason for the 3 star is the online ordering process. Yelp uses grubhub. I got confirmation that they received it and a time to pick up. Got there and they didn't have it. They found it immediately, and got our food out quickly- about 10 minutes. Would have been really irritating if it took longer. I'd call in orders to go for now. The girl at the register was friendly and helpful. I'll be back. Hopefully I'll be able to raise the rating a star or two!

At the front of a business park, this is a hidden gem of Central American deliciousness - shredded beef, shredded pork, shredded chicken, beans and cheese are available. Everything is freshly made and approachable. All sauces are freshly made and add to the dish. Check out their hot sauce- it'll sneak up on you

Tostadas and Empanadas. Very delicious and different from Mexican cuisine.

Very different from Mexican food but very tasty. It's a established business for 5 years ... the experience of tasting the food here was good.

I don't know if it was a good thing or not. The service was kind of sketch, the police was very plain, and the menu was not very easy to read. I ended up ordering a meat dish and don't know what it was called. It came with rice, beans, coleslaw, tortillas and plantains The rice was good, the coleslaw was good and the sprite was good. This is the first time I ate plantains and did not care for them so much. The coleslaw was excellent. I also didn't care too much for the meat. The flavor was OK, but they were bits of bone in it I wasn't prepared for. Almost broke a tooth. The food was OK and very generous. But I do not think I will return here as it's just not my flavor.

I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes in the future. I was given explicit instruction to try this dish, and nothing else on my first visit as it's apparently a favorite dish in Honduras. It consists of a bed of fried plantains, topped with a cabbage slaw, fried chicken, and a blend of delicious sauces. It's definitely a shareable dish as you can see from the video I've posted, and it's super delicious! Savor Catracho has a giant dining room painted a very striking Honduran blue. One interesting quirk is that every single chair (not the tables) is bolted to the floor. I've never encountered this before, but the seats were comfortable nonetheless. Check this place out, you won't regret it!

Cerdo frito w/ Tostones ($13.95) - The dish comes with eight pieces of seasoned and deep fried pork. It's fried long enough to make it crisp but dries out the interior. The rich seasoning, salty with a lime salt-like tang, creates a red colored skin over the meat. The fried meat is served on a bed of red beans and rice. It's seasoned well and has a good bitey texture. I ordered the cerdo frito with tostones. They include three pieces that aren't nearly as smashed and thin as others I've eaten. This means they are able to show a more tender and starchy interior rather than being almost completely crispy throughout. They are quite interesting in that they puff up like pita bread, leaving an air pocket in the center. They top the tostones with a bit of crumbled salty cheese and some salsa. Unfortunately these two elements soak into the tostones a little, causing them to become somewhat soggy. There's a tiny side of slaw, less than a small ice cream scoops worth. It's filled with crunchy vegetables and is in a really sweet dressing. I wonder if they purchase it in bulk from the Reser's down the street. (4/5) Overall, my meal at Casa Latina was a nice way to refill before our drive back up to Seattle.
