Went today for lunch and never got served. Stood in line and waited on someone to take my order. All staff were filling online orders. Overall ... Meh. A lot of my friends LOVE this place and come here all the time. I was excited to try it, and was dissapointed. Chipotle food is better, Surcheros chips are better. I'm a pescetarian so my options were salad in a bowl, in a wrap, in a taco. No alternative meat options or fish. Sort of lackluster. The chips are better than Chiptole, so I guess that's a positive! This place doe not deserve the 3 star rating. This is a 4-5 star place. We've ordered from here a number of times. We arrived at 8:15 PM to grab a bite to eat I was shocked when I saw the following: dirty employee clothes, The line was absolutely filthy and they were scraping the bottoms of every food line pan, watery pinto beans that tasted like they use the kitchen sink water to season, salsa tasted of aluminum can tomatoes, dairy squeeze bottles for topping sitting out unrefrigerated, dining room was filthy, there were a ton of employees goofing around with the line moving super slow, only one cash register open restaurant was not even busy. New restaurant centrally located in Alpharetta. It's kind of like a Chipotle with a lot more topping options as well as beer and margarita. I had a mini burrito and the size was perfect for me. The frozen margarita is kind of icy (imagine small ice chunks instead of smooth frozen) but tasted great and it's strong! Kids were happy with the kids meals - came with a drink and an Oreo cookie. The atmosphere is amazing - outdoor seating is so nice. Workers go above and beyond to help you too. Best of all, no extra charge for guacamole as a topping. read more

I have heard nothing but great things but do not order anything through the app. I order something for delivery at the Alpharetta location only to have it cancelled while the driver was "3 minutes away" from my home. I called the store to ask if everything was okay with the deliver and they told me that delivery was not available at their store. That I could not request delivery through the SURCHEROS app(if it is not then why is the option highlighted that you are). The manager on duty, Christine, told me that there was nothing they could do about it and basically she wasn't willing to help. The food was amazing, the staff was unbelievably helpful. The meats and Veggies were fresh. You can have the option to grill any veggies before hand if you choose. Tried for first time last night with family, it will be our last. Starting off, waited in line to order at least 20 minutes with only a few people ahead of us. Then, my wife and I ordered for our family of 4, but the person first taking our order had such an inexcusable attitude, went downhill from there. She ordered steak quesadillas but the behind the counter server put on hamburger, and when my wife corrected her, she gave us this huge sneer! The server corrected it, begrudgingly, and went on to the next customer in line, but we weren't done ordering. And, when I asked her that I had more items to order, got an even bigger head tilt and more attitude! The food was, at best, average. You get half a quesadilla for $10, any other decent Mexican restaurant gives you a whole one for the same price. And, when I asked about getting guacamole and sour cream with the quesadilla from the gentleman preparing it, got similar attitude! Place was barely a quarter full on a Saturday night, everything is serve yourself, salsas average, tasted like straight out of a can. Cheese dip watery, better from Publix. Ordered large cheese dip, no extra chips, just what you get (a handful) with meal. This place won't last long. read more

The food is okay. Very similar to Willy's. This was our first and last time trying this place. The ambiance is great but that is where the good experience ends. They can't master the taco. I asked for sour cream and the kid scooped a spoonful on 1/3 of the taco and moved on. I asked 3x for queso on an item and kept being told "next station"...until they checked me out with no queso. We also paid for a taco that didn't make it into the bag (4 item order) and they didn't even provide a receipt. Honestly, we should have gone to Taco Bell across the street. read more

Went in on Tues for my first time, took owner Debbie B's recommendation on asking staff on their fav - my request was for a big meal w/ queso - they recommended the Nacho Bowl. They put all my requested toppings on it; the pork carnitas (staff recommendation) was delicious; didnt follow up on Debbie's suggestion to request the veggies grilled - and it turned out well. Enough toppings to where the bowl was BIG. I thought staff was friendly and great; we closed down the place. I am not putting 5 stars b/c its not as good as Ceviche or Pure - both nearby, but a refreshing change from Chipotle. If I had 1 nit, I wished they would allow for more than 3 spoons/scoops of Queso on the bowl -its a large bowl and the queso would have been better. But I would go back again. Thanks! read more

Overpriced, and could do a lot to improve the food. My partner's 2 tacos were actually cold and the pork was tough to eat. Chipotle is far superior for quality of food. The outside patio is nice, though, so if you just want to grab a drink and eat some nachos and watch the traffic go by, go for it, but I'd guess the nachos will be mediocre. The bill came to $33 - two people each ordered 2 tacos (comes with chips) and one cup of cheese dip. Don't get the margaritas, please. I have been waiting for 3+ weeks for a refund back to my account on two of the WORSE margaritas I have ever had. The Manager on duty that evening told me of my $50 tab he would credit me $20+ tax to my credit card. That has never happened. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the amazing veggie option and the skinny margaritas. Here is where it fell short. You get a small amount (I would guess maybe 4 ozs of protein). The steak had some flavor. The ground beef had absolutely zero taste. We paid $65 for lunch and all left wondering why we did not go to Chipotle. Love the concept and the vibe.
