If you are looking for a trim by someone who won't hack off more that you wanted and want one at a good price, then this is the place. SEAN is amazing! He is friendly, precise, and the fastest I've ever seen (usually done in 10 minutes). I only go here for trims, so I have no idea how good he or anyone else here is w/ their ability to give you a new style. You can make an appointment or just walk-in, they're open 7 days a week, and are clean. Each stylist also has their own punch card so you can get free cut when the card is filled. As a woman, it's hard to find a place that will just give you a trim without having to shell out big bucks or get a lot more cut that you wanted. I am so thankful for SEAN! read more

Before I was getting my hair cut at Fantastic Sam's, which was okay; I've had some acceptable hair cuts there and a pretty bad one. So I decided to give Sure Cuts a try. I am very satisfied and happy that it's cheaper than the chain store, and supporting a local business. Jen did a very good job, great blending. Due to the owner and her son (Guido) being good barbers they surround themselves with good barbers as well. She listens, asks questions when she is unsure and confirms with you along the way. Happy to have found a barber in the Bay Area. A lot of you barbers are charging $40 and don't know how to cut hair. Waited 50mins on Monday and felt bad because the barber called my name but then told me to wait longer for the other barber (I had selected that I was comfortable anyone to cut my hair) said he will see the guy instead of me and sent me back outside and man he took instead had been waiting for 30mins, I was there first. I felt super bad because I don't know why he didn't want to work on me? He had worked on 2 other women, and that guy was a walk in too like me, I just don't know why...I'm not bringing up any discrimination here but I did feel I was just quietly waiting for my turn and I just hate that feeling of not "important" I could make speculations but I'm not going to write them here. I just wanted to write an update, I went home and had to cut my hair ends because there were strands on both sides visibly 1inch longer than the rest of the hair, I was literally laughing out loud in disbelief but I don't care it's just hair it's going to grow back, but damn what a bad hair cutter!
