Very friendly staff, plenty of parking and other amenities made available in the lobby. Very satisfied with the room and the view.. one issue was the chair in the room had a large slit in the back of the chair. Coffee (free) available in the room and lobby. The back area of hotel (bay side) for fishing was well lit with chairs and small table which allows you to mingle, eat, drink, and fish. I DEFINITELY WILL BE A REPEAT CUSTOMER!!!!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the amenities since our itinerary was busy and it was off season. But the rooms were beautiful, contemporary and each room had its own balcony. The resort provided bathrobes and slippers, along with a snack and coffee station, safe, hangers, large screen tv, etc. We had breakfast in the lounge area since the Maya restaurant was closed for the season. The first morning I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and it was delicious. The lounge areas is really chic and comfortable to grab a bite or drink and take in the beach scenery and people watch on the boardwalk. The second morning in the Maya section (reserved for our party), my cousins arranged a large brunch buffet, which I thought was very good (especially the seasoned eggs and bacon) with a wide assortment of dishes, pastries, beverages. But my god, it is splinter hell. Us, along with 3 other families that we knew of, were realizing at the pool that us and our kid's feet were completely full of splinters. We spent a total of about 3 hours at the pool over 2 days and my four year old had over 50 splinters in each foot! I had about 10 and spouse a few less. My four year old will not even let me look at his foot, nevertheless remove the splinters - yeah right. I think we are going to need to get sedated. This has ruined the stay to be honest. The hotel also didn't have tweezers. At least two families complained and nothing seemed to be done about it. The deck is extremely dry. This wouldn't be a hard problem to solve. ICE. I requested ice about 20 different ways, because there is no ice machine so they say just request it: - through the app on their tablet (3x, nothing) - through calling the front desk (2x, nothing) - in person at the front desk (2x, nothing) - through text to the front desk (4x, nothing) - in person to the person that came to the room one night (2x, 1x worked!) I got ice once, woohoooooo! The tablet is a joke. I needed an extra bedsheet and requested it through the tablet and it never came. In person at the front desk it did, however. Beautiful hotel, but the splinters ruined it. You could not pay ME to stay somewhere that my autistic kid gets 100 splinters in his feet. The hotel is feeling a bit neglected in some ways. Our "terrace" had algae on the deck area, one couch cushion had a big brown spot and there was half of a DEAD BIRD on our terrace. It was there the whole time. We asked for an itemized receipt to check, which he hesitated to get. Upon looking we were charged a 22% "large party surcharge". Not an included tip, a surcharge to then tip on top of. We were 4 people. We asked why that charge was there and he said it was a mistake, then sent someone else over with the corrected bill amount. I have a feeling this happens way more than we think. Always get your bill itemized people, this was unethical behavior that I can't trust.

The inn is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The breakfasts were excellent and one of the many things that made staying here such a great experience. The location is also hard to beat-- a 2 block walk to the beach and a short drive to Main Street, making it easy to enjoy everything Belmar has to offer. What stood out most to me was the hospitality. Staying somewhere for nearly a month gives you a much different perspective than a quick weekend trip, and throughout my entire stay Bill and Linda consistently made me feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you both for making my extended stay feel like home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend the Inn at the Shore to anyone visiting the area. 10/10.

I was at a loss when I realized I was going to point Pleasant to find a nice hotel. Jersey shore…read morehotels are not the best and there are no chains. I reached out to an old friend who recommended the White Sands hotel. I didn't realize how large it is. My husband and I are staying in the main building and my daughter and family are across the street near the pools and ocean which is fine because they have small children. I have a king room which is fairly large with a nice little patio. It's called the parking lot view, but I can actually see the beach from here and on a clear day, the ocean as well. There's a restaurant on site as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. There is also a bourbon bar that opened which I haven't tried. The room is very clean and looks like it's been recently renovated. Since we are at the shore, it is a blessing not to have a carpet in the room trapping sand. The housekeeping staff does a really nice job. The bathroom is small just has a toilet and a small shower with the sink in the main area just outside the bathroom. That works for us. The only thing I would recommend is an additional nightstand. There's only one nightstand, although there are space for one on each side of the bed. I am using a crate to charge my things. There's a small microwave and a nice small refrigerator. We are one block from the beach. We have wristbands that open the doors to the room and also allow us pool and beach access. The beach is a little on the small side, but it is private with a lifeguard. Point pleasant is a nice little town with a lot of rental homes in the vicinity of the hotel. It's a quick walk to the boardwalk and the amusements it far enough away where it's quiet. It's only the weather would cooperate. You have to book these rooms by February and there's no telling what the weather is gonna be like so we've had some rain and clouds. We're thinking we'll be back next year. So far, a wonderful stay.

We had a pool party with our guests upon arrival, enjoyed the party room until closing, and ate breakfast from the on-site snack bar (the spot by the pool, not the one in the lobby). I grew up 10 minutes away from the White Sands, and can't believe I've never been. Truly an amazing experience.
