Zero complaints. They have helped me successfully by reducing my numb arm/nerve issues by almost 100 percent. I've tried one male on a chair, and 3 females, mercy, Nancy, and carrie. My husband and I will be forever customers now. We both love massages and he's on board with me about this place.

The massage itself was okay, but I was disappointed overall. I spent a lot of time reading reviews…read moreabout this place because I appreciated the honest feedback about the masseuses. Based on those reviews, I carefully selected the masseuse I thought would work best for my shoulder tension and knots. Unfortunately, I did not get the person I originally booked, and no one informed me of the change beforehand. The same thing happened to my friend as well. Additionally, during the check-in process, the front desk never gave me a card or questionnaire to fill out regarding the focus areas for my massage. Since this was both my friend's and my first experience here, I expected better communication and a more thorough process. Instead, the experience left me disappointed and a bit shaken. Another awkward part of the experience was the checkout process. At the end of the session, they wait for you at the front desk expecting a tip. Of course I planned to tip, but the pressure and expectation made the experience uncomfortable. One especially odd part of the Signature Massage was that the masseuse inserted her fingers into both of my ear canals without warning. I was completely caught off guard and really disliked that part of the service.

My massage therapist, Ana L was amazing. She made sure I was comfortable with the room temperature, massage pressure, and overall experience from start to finish. She also checked in on me throughout the session, which I really appreciated because I can be a little shy about speaking up during massages. I added cupping therapy for the first time and it was 10/10! Ana made sure the pressure and tightness of the cups felt right for me. Overall, I can't wait to come back and make this part of my regular self-care routine.

She has an incredible ability to find exactly where the problem is and work it out with precision. Every session feels personalized, and she genuinely cares about helping you feel better--not just during the massage, but afterward too. If you're dealing with tight muscles, lower back pain, or just need to reset your body, I highly recommend her. She's professional, skilled, and truly passionate about what she does. After 10 years, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

She stated she would offer to refund me the difference of what I paid her and whatever I thought the massage was worth. I thanked her and named a price. I sent a request for the refunded amount in VenMo. That was 4 days ago. I have not received a refund, nor have I heard from Amy. Instead I received a random message in Yelp from Amy telling me to write as many reviews as I like. This was odd and I flagged the content of the message exchange in Yelp so they can facilitate whatever was occurring between Amy and I. I then copied and pasted my reply to Amy into VenMo, hoping Amy would see it and acknowledge her offer to refund me for part of the cost. I still have not received the refund Amy offered nor have I received any communication from her to clarify what she did intend to communicate or to proceed with a refund she offered. So, at this point I presume she never meant to refund me, like she stated.‍ Approximately an hour after posting this, Amy accused me of harassing her.‍ Proceed with caution if you decide to reserve her services. First and last time for me.

Book Tony. That's it. That's all. That's the review!!!…read more I typically visit every three months for an 80-minute hot stone massage and was previously seeing Gabe (unfortunately, he's no longer with Woodhouse). Gabe was fantastic--he always listened to my needs and paid extra attention to the areas that needed it most. This time, I was paired with Tony and OMG--he was amazing! You know a massage is good when you catch yourself snoring? That was me, LOL. Tony provided the perfect amount of pressure and, like Gabe, really listened to my concerns and focused on the areas I needed most. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience at Woodhouse Spa in Walnut Creek…read more We scheduled a couples massage specifically requesting to be in the same room. We arrived on time, checked in, and were escorted back to begin our services. After we had already undressed and were prepared for our massage, we were informed that the appointment could not be accommodated as scheduled because the therapists needed breaks. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified of any staffing adjustments or scheduling conflicts. Instead, we were told, after we were already ready for service, that the massages would have to take place in separate rooms. We were then informed that they were fully booked for the rest of the day and could not reschedule us for the couples experience we originally booked. The only alternative offered was a complimentary guided self experience in the sauna, which was not comparable to what we had reserved. Alexa, the hospitality manager, did apologize and stated that Anna, the spa director, would be contacting us. As of yet, that has not happened. The lack of communication and follow through was extremely frustrating. If therapist breaks were going to interfere with scheduled appointments, we should have been notified before arriving. Being informed only after we were undressed and expecting our couples massage was uncomfortable and unprofessional. This experience reflected a serious lapse in customer service. When a service cannot be delivered as promised, there should be a meaningful effort to correct the situation and ensure the client still receives what they scheduled. I recommend taking your hard earned money somewhere you are valued and not expected to simply accept something different than what you reserved. Anna, After receiving your comment on my previous post, I feel it is important to clarify our position. We shared with you, as customers, exactly what our experience was booking this appointment online through your company's website. Rather than acknowledging how this situation unfolded from the client's perspective, your response focuses on explaining internal policies and procedures. Our frustration is not about therapist breaks or operational logistics. It is about communication. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified that the couples room was not secured. We arrived on time, were escorted back, undressed, and only then informed that the appointment would not be accommodated as expected. That is the core issue. As customers, we can only rely on the booking system provided by your company. If duet services must be reserved by phone and the online system does not guarantee placement in the same room, that process should be made unmistakably clear and proactively confirmed before guests arrive, especially for something as specific as a couples massage. Furthermore, instead of continuing this issue publicly from a policy standpoint, I believe this should be addressed internally within your company to ensure others do not experience the same poor communication and disappointment. Our intention in sharing our review was simply to express our experience honestly and highlight an opportunity for improvement.

Let me start off by saying... I just realized some of the pictures uploaded by the business a month…read moreago must be AI because that is NOT what the actual establishment looks like LOL, shame on me for not noticing prior. I literally decided to give this place a call because of those pictures so now I feel tricked lol. However, my husband and I were on a time crunch because we had to get back home to our babies but wanted to really have a self care day which also happened to be on a holiday. With that said, there weren't many options that were open and or available for the time we needed. We called and were easily scheduled for an appointment with our requests of both female masseuses for a 2 hour couple massage. I've had bad experiences at Asian spots where the men always smelled like cigarettes so I try to avoid it when I can. I got a lil PTSD when we pulled in to the parking lot too because that's all I smelled. Keep in mind the parking lot for this business is fairly small so you may have to find street parking. Another thing that made me apprehensive was the bathroom. It was giving run down, there was no toilet paper holder and the paper towel dispenser was either out of batter or broken? So I honestly wasn't expecting much of the rooms. My husband loved his massage by Grace and I had Kelly. First thought, OKAY with the heated beds! I've ever been to an Asian spot with the heated beds and it was definitely a nice touch! They also had a cute lil electric fire place in the room. As for the massage... Initially, I thought she wasn't going to be applying enough pressure. I came in with so much upper back pain I also kept thinking she wasn't hitting the right spots. Because we had a 2 hour appointment (for the first time) the max we usually get is MAYBE 90 mins; I felt like there was a point where she was kind of BSing the massage. It felt more like she was kind of stroking/petting my back lol. But when she went IN I was pleasantly surprised. She hit a lot of pressure points I didn't even know I had/needed and she didn't just go 0-100 she really took her time to apply pressure so my body had time to respond. I've been to many deep massages that feel ok during the appointment but then make me feel so sore or bruised after. I appreciate how both ladies asked if we were comfortable throughout the massage and when I mentioned I felt like I needed more on 1 side than the other she addressed it. I will say though, I don't remember her ever really touching my shoulders. I'm not sure if that is because my husband circled my upper and lower back as a focus? Regardless, I left relaxed and happy that I left with less pain than I came in with. Can't wait to come back for another! I also plan on gifting a massage to my mom & sis since it's their birthday month!
