After becoming an adult I had to leave my childhood dentist to find a new one. I thought they were good but they were "finding" cavities every visit. I had enough after 2 years and searched for a new dentist when I found Dr. Gefvert thankfully! She is an amazing dentist! I let her know that my previous dentist kept finding cavities and wanted to see if she saw any. She reviewed my images from the previous dentist and took her own and to no surprise, she found nothing! She even went over the images with me to show that there was nothing. I have been going to see Dr Susan going on six years now and I can tell you for someone that really dislikes the thought of going to a dentist Dr Susan helps melt all that away. The office is quaint and very nice with relaxing views out the floor to ceiling windows in the exam rooms. Dr. Susan and her staff are very laid back and the office is not a hustle and bustle of patients beeing ushered about. So happy to have found Dr Gefvert for my whole family. I had new dental insurance and didn't want one of those chain places and found her. Her staff is friendly and she is very detailed in explaining things. My 8 yr old hadn't been to the dentist in over 2 yrs bc of the pandemic and also needed a small filling. She was freaked out each time but Susan was able to calm her down. Like literally it's a miracle she got through the filling. She has a small play area in the back for kids. Now she has checked on myself, husband, 8 yr old, and 2 year old. Thankfully no major work needed- just cleanings and a couple fillings. But happy to have her to continue routine care and if anything major ever does come up. read more

Dr Gefvert looked at my teeth & stated that I had taken excellent care, therefore I didn't need a cleaning. I asked her if she would look at a tooth at the lower front because it was sensitive. She felt it was an acid based problem. I told her I have water with a lemon sometimes. To make a long, story short, what disturbed me is that I had 2 xrays which her assistant had mentioned & she asked her assistant to take 3 pictures of my teeth with her Iphone. Dr Gefvert looked at me & said" NO radiation".She was extremely obsessive about the acid & lemons & kept repeating herself. What dentist does that in this era. Very strange!!!!!!!!!! 3D is in. Dr. Gefvert is absolutely the best dentist I've ever been to! I have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist since few very unfavorable visits to different clinics in the past. Dr. Gefvert and her staff are extremely gentle and caring. I've gone for a cleaning and wisdom teeth extraction. With each visit I feel less anxious about my dental care. I hope by the time next cleaning rolls around I will be calm. Their work is amazing! Even after extracting two wisdom teeth, I was able to take my toddler for a stroll. The ambiance in the office is great too. There is no stressful "dental clinic" smell or the sound of 5-10 suction tubes, like the other clinics. She is a caring doctor for her patients. I went to her office and always like the staff there. One time I pulled out my wisdom teeth, I was very worried and afraid of the procedure. The staff told me she won't pull all wisdom teeth in one appointment as it's too much for the patient. So I followed her advice, avoided pulling all at once. After that procedure, Susan gave me a very detailed sheet of instructions and asked me to always call if I felt uncomfortable. Because of her way of doing it, I didn't feet much pain afterwards and was able to recover in one day.
