This is my go to Saturday breakfast spot. It's literally like visiting my grandma's house for breakfast... and paying her to cook for me. Their omelets are amazing and there are a number of fillings to choose from. Their pies are also delicious. Just l like grandma makes them. Went for breakfast here on a Sunday morning and the place was very crowded. However we were seated, had our order taken, and served our food within a reasonable amount of time. This is an institution in Springdale. I hadn't been here in years because the crowd there always seemed so old. That's still the case but it's nice at my age to occasionally feel young. The food was great, the hash browns and biscuits and gravy are like none I've ever tasted. It was standing room only in there with people walking in and out in stampedes..it was seriously hard to get out of the restaurant because there was never a break in the flow. I've only eaten here for a quick lunch. Fast service, friendly staff, it's always packed. Good 'ol comfort food....nothing mind blowing but it's good food at a good price. The waitress always brought fresh drinks without being asked. Reminds me of an old diner which can be a good thing nowadays. Never eaten breakfast here. Friendly staff, large portions and not too bad of a wait. We went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning and were seated in about 15 min. We each ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. I even got the half order and there was so much food! Perfectly crispy, great gravy, eggs cooked just right.. It was a wonderful experience! Took some family and friends here for breakfast when they were in town. It was cheap and good food, however most of the food was luke warm when it arrived. I would go again even though I've been to better breakfast spots, but for the price you can't beat it! I visited this place for the first time today. The decor is a little outdated, but I think it just really adds charm to the restaurant. We waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated. It was a little while before we were greeted by our server, however, the place was packed so it's understandable. From then on the service was great and the food was delicious. We ate everything on our plates plus four cups of coffee. The coffee is delicious too by the way. My family and I are from out of town. This place, however, makes us wish we lived a little closer. Wow!!! Best pecan pancakes I've every had!!!! We pulled into town on New Year's Day and found Susan's on Yelp at the last minute. It was very busy but we got seated immediately. Excellent. Crowded as most good places are. I love omelettes, usually fully loaded. The ham is so good in these omelettes that I would probably go with a simple ham and cheese next time. Not the pre cut little pieces of ham that are common at other places. Seems like a home baked ham that they have chunked themselves. Very pleased with this place. Has the home cooking feel throughout the building. The service staff are very friendly for the most part. The food is the typical "American" breakfast, but feels more like a breakfast with family than a drive-thru egg McMuffin. Susan's is a must if you are a fan of breakfast. I have been wanting to go for some time, and we finally went this past weekend. The line was long, but I think we waited less than 10 minutes. Our server was outstanding. She kept our water, coffee, and milk filled to the brim. The food was just as good. We were craving a little bit of everything, so we got the biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and the chicken and waffles. I was very impressed with the light and flufflyness of the pancakes. The pancakes and waffles both had excellent flavors.
