food so good it puts a big smile on your face! we will be back... food: - veggie bowl: 10/10 - crazy salmon roll: 10/10 - crispy wontons dessert: 11/10 everything we got was so delicious. it is a little pricey for individual sushi rolls, but they are quite large and filling so I thought the one was enough. service: the server and chef were so kind. one of their chefs didn't come in so the food took a while to come out, but they gave us free dessert which was awesome. it seems like it's not usually a long wait but either way they are super nice parking: 9/10 free shared parking lot with other businesses in the plaza. good amount of spaces Bathroom: super cute bathroom, very clean. they had toothpicks and perfume in there, very stocked and aesthetic

I got the tsunami roll. I think the interior is super nice, but the prices of the rolls were a lot higher than expected. I also didn't like how the process to view the menu was through a QR code. They didn't have any physical menus in the store. This prompts for lack of inclusivity for those who are not tech savvy. The inside also has no acoustics so you hear everyone and their mother's conversations. I came with a fairly big party and felt apologetic to those who came to dine in after we sat down. My party wasn't particularly loud, however due to lack of acoustics, our voices did carry. We didn't get any drinks because the roll itself costs $20~ and that's already pretty steep for an establishment that's only catering to aesthetics and presentation.

I ordered the truffle crispy rice and the golden dragon role and they were both tasty. The only item I was not very fond of was the Poketo poke bowl which was not very filling nor tasted as fresh as the sushi. The restaurant is nice but we aware that it is very small with limited seating so be prepared to either make a reservation in advance or wait for seating.

Sushark is an Asian-Fusion restaurant located in Bayshore Beautiful. I discovered this place from social media, as it's a newer establishment. Reservations are recommended because it is quite small, as it seats about 8 small tables. One of the front tables is a community-shared table for 6 people. You can reserve a date/time on Yelp. The option for food delivery/pick-up is with Uber Eats. The parking is shared with other businesses on the strip. These spots can be limiting, so street parking is available on the side. FOOD: 1. Serrano Salmon Nigiri (4/5): This was the best of the night. The flavor was just right with a slice of serrano pepper on top, and I would have ordered more of these. 2. Eel Nigiri (2/5): We, both, thought the eel was not fresh and rather bland. 3. Sweet Salmon Pizza (2/5): This is similar to your crispy rice appetizers. The salmon layer is too thin. I was not a fan of this overall. 4. Stalker Bite Temaki Tuna (3/5): This handroll was tasty, but the cream cheese was too much. I observed a great number of the options contained cream cheese and imitation crab. I tend to avoid them. The service was good overall. The water glass did run out once or twice, so we had to remind the server for a refill. The food came out timely. Would I come back? I'd try other sushi places first before coming back.

Definitely a place to check out! Finally more great sushi spots in Tampa!! I came here on a Sunday for lunch and it wasn't too busy and it's a smaller space. All the food we ordered was so good! They have Susark Rolls which are all unique rolls but most have cream cheese which I don't like but I would ask without it. I would come back again and try other rolls! What I ordered: - Shrimp Tempura - Truffle Crispy Rice - Edamame - Crispy Kani Temaki - Tuna Tataki - Tuna Roll

Fire tuna, lotus rolls. Sushark bites , tuna nigiri and torched salmon nigiri

Excited this chain opened near us and got to go sushi. First their packaging is impressive! Our favorites of the order: sushark bites, sweet flamed salmon nigiri and fire tuna. Some things to note: their sushi quality isn't the freshest, tuna has some tendon to it and not as "melt in your mouth". Also you can tell from the menu that it's very fusion and not a "true" sushi place but a great place for different flavors. Overall some good rolls and some were misses.

Absolutely love this new sushi place. My boyfriend and I got takeout on a saturday night, ordering two rolls and the pork gyoza. White lotus and ninja roll were phenomenal. The ninja roll had sweet plantains on top that gave it the perfect hint of sweetness -- might be my favorite roll in all of Tampa. Only thing I would love is a little more ginger with each roll :) Excited for more people to try out this spot!!

    Love the packaging

Consistently fresh and good sushi is hard to find in Tampa. We had a couple favorite spots but the quality of the sushi has diminished. We discovered Sushark through a friend and so far it's been great! We dined in once and ordered takeout the second time. The restaurant is small so come early or make a reservation. The menu ranges from traditional sushi rolls to something interesting items like the sushi pizza. The Truffle Crispy Rice with Tuna is amazing, the dynamite roll and the Mongolian beef are also a few favorite items. I was a little surprised that most of the rolls have cream cheese, which I don't prefer but you can order without. Overall, fresh and delicious.

Delicious food in a very small but modern setting. All of the rolls were unique and very well prepared. The service was fast and friendly. They are a small location in a strip mall with only a few tables. They seemed to do a lot of takeout and delivery orders, but I chose to dine in and found a table. Their menu is online and they have a very modern selection and also have daily specials. Excellent choice in S Tampa!

Sushi is some of the best we've had in Tampa. Very, very fresh and great, unique flavors. We also had the Mongolian beef (not pictured). Everything we had was delicious. No liquor license yet, but they said it's coming soon! BYOB for now. They do have regular, non-alcoholic drinks of course. I'd dare to say this place is near perfect - amazing food, service and ambiance. I can't wait to visit again!

This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Tampa! The place is super small, so plan accordingly. We went on a Tuesday night and still had to wait 30 minutes. But, it was well worth it! Their menu is super intricate, but it comes with pictures which is super helpful. I wish I studied it more before we got there because it is 17 pages long. We split the chicken gyoza and tuna crispy rice as our appetizers. Both were incredibly delicious! For our mains, we each got a sushi roll. I got the almond crunch roll, with shrimp tempura, cream cheese, almonds, and a fruit reduction. It was so unique and delicious! They also have sushi pizza which we did not get a chance to try, but I hope I can taste it next time I go. Our server was really nice, but I wish she gave more of a description of menu items. Overall, I will definitely be back!

I love any new chance to try a new restaurant in town! This place is great. First off, the packaging of the food is a winner and I felt this has been lacking from other sushi restaurants in town. This food travels well. We ordered a few different items: * Truffle Crispy Rice * Pork Gyoza * Yaki Soba * Truffle Sweet Potato roll * Golden Dragon roll I highly recommend the gyoza, sweet potato roll and golden dragon. The crispy rise was good too! The yaki soba could use a little more flavor. Overall, the food was great and I will DEFINITELY be ordering SuShark again.

Spicy salmon crispy rice - VERY crispy and flavorful

Excited to add a new fresh and fabulous sushi spot to my list! Sushark may be small, but the food and service was mighty. Had Brooklyn restaurant vibes, very cute and trendy decor. Everything was super delicious - love that it's Asian and Latin fusion and will definitely be back to try some of their main plates as well. We tried the spicy salmon crispy rice, samurai roll, crazy salmon, tuna and salmon nigiri. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. I love that their speciality rolls have some different combinations that I haven't seen at other places. Will be back

The tuna tartare was super tasty as well and I would definitely order this again same comment for micro greens on this dish - didn't need this and found myself moving it off the dishes to actually enjoy the item. The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. We also love Hyde Park and it's just so nice to walk around that area before or after your meal. We started off with cocktails -- I went with the pomelo (nikka coffey gin, aperol, grapefruit, szechuan peppercorn) and she got the shinshun (sparkling sake, yuzu extract, & honey). We both really enjoyed our drinks. For appetizers, we shared the wagyu gyoza and I also got a couple pieces of nigiri -- Hokkaido Hotate (scallop) and the otoro (fatty tuna belly). Yum! We both ordered sushi rolls (maki) for our mains. I got the Ro signature roll which has spicy tuna, avocado, and hamachi. My sis got the classic tempura shrimp roll topped with crispy potato chips which was a nice twist. We definitely got our sushi fix! The end of every meal comes with a complimentary sweet surprise and I'm so glad we saved just enough room for dessert. They make their own ice cream in-house and have fun rotating flavor combinations. I can't remember the exact flavor we had, but it had a passion fruit ganache on top with some crumble topping and it was phenomenal! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. That alone is worth going back for.

We checked out a bunch of different restaurants, but they were all booked up. So, we ended up booking Wagamama for our dinner on Sunday night. After finding roadside parking near the restaurant, we checked in at the register and were shown to our table. Our server greeted us and provided us with menus. Following a discussion among ourselves and with our server, we began our order with a lychee martini and a coconut drift for drinks. For appetizers, we selected the Bang Bang Cauliflower, which our server highlighted as a very popular option, along with chicken pot stickers. For our main courses, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, Karage Chicken Strips for our toddler and the chicken firecracker dishes. Our drinks arrived first: a Lychee Martini and a Coconut Drift. The Lychee Martini contained a significant amount of vodka, so much that my spouse could only manage two sips. The Coconut Drift was better, but it still had an excessive amount of sugar. We got our Bang Bang Cauliflower appetizer. However, upon tasting it, we found it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted like they simply coated the cauliflower with sauce without properly cooking it. We were disappointed to have to return it. Following that, our chicken pot stickers arrived. The chicken pot stickers were just okay, without anything particularly noteworthy about them. They weren't even properly cooked around the edges. Both appetizers we ordered turned out to be disappointing. Our dinner arrived and included Pad Thai and Chicken Firecracker. Both dishes were just alright; they could have been better. Compared to how other reviews described them, they didn't live up to the expectations set by those reviews. We couldn't get the Chicken Karage Strips we wanted for dinner. We ended up having to comp the whole thing because even though the restaurant wasn't that full (only about 70-75% empty), we had to wait a super long time for the food to be ready. Our visit to Wagamama was so disappointing that we may not return. We were unhappy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

My cousins had the Godzilla and Flaming Hot sushi burritos, it was packed with fresh fish and super filling not soggy or overstuffed. It's a great option if you want sushi that actually satisfies your hunger. The crab meat Rangoon had great flavor with a savory filling. A solid appetizer, especially if you're sharing. The ginger salad was the same size as a poke bowl for $5...it was light and refreshing. I enjoyed the ginger dressing. I've seen other reviews mention pricing, but I honestly found it very reasonable...actually cheaper than most sushi spots or even lunch prices around Westchase, with noticeably better-quality fish. The wait was about 15 minutes on a Saturday evening, which felt totally reasonable. It was a gorgeous night at Armature Works, so we ordered, walked around, and came back once we got the text that our food was ready. With all the large garage-style doors open, it was easy to explore the market hall and check out the other restaurants. Fun coincidence: I always order the Ocean Roll at Ocean Prime, which I consider the one of the best and crave worthy sushi in Tampa. I recently learned the owner of Zukku Sushi actually pioneered Ocean Prime's sushi menu! and it's still being served today after his departure. Getting that same level of freshness and quality here at about half the price makes this place an easy win. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.
