I was stunned to find great sushi in our neighborhood at a reasonable price! I will def return to Sushi Bites. Good food, good portions, good prices. I ordered 4 tuna rolls, 1 tuna sashimi, and 1 tuna negiri for my wife, while I got the shrimp tempura appetizer and chicken teriyaki. Everything was excellent quality. My total came to less than $80 for everything - very good. Best of all, very little plastic was used in the packaging - only the teriyaki was in a plastic container (huge portion.) Everything else was in cardboard boxes and the bag was paper. As a result, my tempura stayed crispy and delicious with no steam sag, and my wife said her sushi was good quality and very tasty. What you need to know is that this is not a standalone restaurant, and it's a bit tricky to see from the street. It's in a commercial kitchen building where several small restaurants rent a kitchen. There are no tables, waiters, or personnel - just the proprietors and their mom & pop shops. The "salmon" in the Salmon Lover Special looked like pink Barbie house plastic, and the cuts weren't correct. Look at the 2 pieces of "nigiri"... Purchased $40 worth of sushi online last night that was to be ready for pickup in 20 min. 35 min later I arrived at the location and a sign on the door said that "we will return in 15 min". Absolutely unacceptable sushi. I ordered two "giant" spicy tuna shrimp tempura rolls. they were made of 5 pcs each, but they were about the size of a normal cut of a sushi roll. Only problem was that the rolls were full of rice and cucumber! I guess they thought I ordered the small veggie roll instead. The owner is one of the kindest people I've ran into and he really takes pride in what he's doing. I got the ultimate shrimp roll and the tempura dinamite roll and this stuff blew my damn mind. Like eye opening type of good. I literally ate slower to enjoy what I had. My girlfriend got a couple rolls and nigiri but she fell asleep so I ate her food too even though I was full.
