Okay. So it's safe to say the decor of this place is terribly maintained. I was able to look past the wear and tear of the interior and give this place a go. The rolls are "Americanized", meaning they put a ton of sauce on each roll for no good reason. They also put cream cheese and mayo in everything. Their calamari is very good though. I wish I could have the same love for this place that I used to, but they don't even really try to be good anymore. Every once in a great while I'll stop in again when I am feeling too lazy to drive to Portland. Every time I am disappointed. Last time I went I ordered baked mussels and literally received a mussel topped with gobs of mayo. Not even spicy mayo. Just straight nasty mayo and they didn't even bother to throw a few green onions on it. Slow. Dismissive. Rude. Waiting way too long for a small order. They're not overly busy. It's always a long wait at this place.

Came here to take advantage of the $2 sushi, and ordered sake. The waitress tells me upon ordering that the sake is $4 and I could take it home if I don't finish it. At checkout the manager tells me I'm unable to take the sake home. No worries, I thought, it's only $4. The waitress had tallied up our order and marks that I ordered $4 sake. I come up to the register and the manager tells me the waitress gave me a large, which was $7.50. That's not my fault that your employee served me the incorrect drink. I asked her for a certain product, was given one by your employee that I thought to be the correct one, and was charged more because you don't know how to train your staff. The manager at the counter then proceeds to glare at me as I go back to the table to search for a card I accidentally left, and doesn't do anything to compensate the charge. The waitress did the best she could, but the manager was not understanding and does not know how to run a business. Food is okay, but I'd say do not go here. The $2 sushi is not worth the shitty service and rude manager. read more

This is where you go when you want a quick and dirty sushi experience. There is nothing particularly special about Sushi Factory. it is sushi in the round and selection will vary widely on a day to day basis. Quality is fairly consistent, but I wouldn't call that remarkable in any way. It is just that the two sushi chefs (whom have been working there for many years) are able to put out the same product the same way every time. Décor and seating is functional/no fills. Pricing is about average with other similar establishments, so you are able to fill your family without breaking the bank. A nice stable of beer/soda offerings allows for you to wash down your Vegas roll (which is tasty) and is just about what you would hope for in a complete dining experience. Sure, there are better options for sushi in Vancouver, but it is a good place to drop by for a quick sushi fix. read more

It's ok, nothing special. When I walked in I was surprised to find the restaurant wasn't open for dinning in at 25 % capacity - just take out. Well, now I know why, they are making more money on take out charging 1.50 per take out box and charging for sauces! This sushi restaurant always over charge customers thinking we won't notice. I always have to pay an extra $1 or 2 for unexplained reasons. It's a sneaky finesse they do in order to make more money but I notice every time.. They might aswell call it gratuity. Won't be returning because my money is important. Decent sushi place if you're in a hurry and don't feel like going to Sushi Express in the mall. (Let's be real; malls are boring if you're not buying anything and going online is easier to browse). Quality is fairly consistent but occasionally there are questionable ingredients on the plates. "Is that avocado supposed to be brown? It smells really fishy." Anyways, come in with low expectations and you won't be disappointed. This isn't as bad as Sushi and Sushi on 82nd Ave in Portland. That's the definition of bad. It's not worth 1.00 a plate. Sushi was okay, and nothing looked too appealing or appetizing. There wasn't that much variety and the sushi is on the conveyor belt sometimes it seems like for a while or a couple hours. I ordered the mochi ice cream but it was sooooo overpriced for only one piece! They always make Gyoza for me as soon as I walk in!! =] Prompt and friendly service!! Cup is always full of water and I am always being asked if I need anything else! This was literally the worst dining experience I've ever had. First off when we walked in no one greeted us so we just sat our selves. Then it took about 25 minutes to get water after we had already eaten. The food itself was the worst part about the whole experience. Everything consisted of the same 4 ingredients: IMITATION crab... Yes disgusting, some sort of very old fish, rice and seaweed. But to top it off they put some random sauce on everything to make it actually have flavor. After we had been sitting for about 40 minutes to get our bill we decided to just get up and tell our waitress what we had and leave as soon as possible. Me and my lil girl and my older sons come here about once a month. It's her favorite place so we haven't tried very many of the other sushi places in our area. We usually all get dragon rolls and Dynamite rolls which are almost always prepared right in front of us. For the price I am always satisfied with the amount of sushi we get, sometimes even cheaper than I would expect. Only bad ever was we got calamari once and it's wasn't that great. My food sat at the counter for almost 30 minutes because I couldn't get an employee to help. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before having to go outside to cool off and was never even spoke to. We really like their sushi; great scorpion rolls and crab salad rolls. However it feels as though every time we have gone their prices have gone up. This last time it seems they went up drastically. This place had the worst sushi I've ever had. Even sushi from a grocery store deli was better. I didn't just pick plates off of the belt either. I ordered chicken teriyaki, because that is simple and hard to ruin. I was wrong! The chicken tasted cheap and previously frozen. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. Needless to say, I left hungry. I paid for my sushi, but not for the teriyaki bowl that I couldn't eat more than one bite of. Hopefully this place won't be around long. Not the best place in town, but not bad enough to avoid either. Been going to this place for years now (and have never gotten food poisoning.) Service is usually friendly and kind enough to provide an order sheet if needed. Of course, they usually forget one or two items, but I've usually eaten so much by that point that I don't care. One thing I've seen in other reviews is refills on drinks. I asked about this once, and they are not provided unless you pay extra. 2 s because they gave us fried calamari and we ordered edamame and then my husband flicked a bug off my shirt and then found another one on my straw wrap and the employees here don't care about the customers and when you ask them a question they get mad I'm not sure if it's because my husband and I are Hispanic but it's disrespectful and many other times we've came here they've been rude to service us and they speak their language and look at us with mean faces and then laugh at us, it's just disrespectful the food is sometimes good but there's times the food has tasted microwaved. while we got our food one of the employees there kind of has flippy hair like Justin beiber he started vacuuming in the area where the sushi spins around, while there was still customers, ourselves included and we were all eating I asked for a box and left I'm not sure if I'll be eating here again. Not great, probably should have figured that from some place called The Sushi Factory. It was pretty slow, the waitresses looked bored and irritable and seem to be bickering among themselves. As a rule I avoid conveyor belt sushi places but having good luck at Sushi Mioga last week and craving sushi while at the mall I figured I'd give this place a shot. As soon as I walked in my instincts told me to turn around and leave but I didn't, 12:30 and the place was dead. I sat and watched the conveyor go round and round for 5 minutes before I settled on Salmon nigiri...meh. It had clearly been circling for a while. I grabbed a couple of unidentifiable rolls and was equally disappointed. This place isn't good even by conveyor belt sushi standards....and those are pretty low standards. read more

The only recommendation I can make is to not just eat off the conveyor belt as you can't tell how long its been sitting, but you can instead order it fresh for no additional cost! The chefs make the sushi very quickly, it tastes fresh, and you certainly can't argue with the price at 1.50 a plate. read more

I love this place the atmosphere is relaxed the staff are super friendly and polite they genuinely care if your enjoying the food. This is my regular sushi spot it's less than a mile from my house. I love that we always get a booth seat the sushi is very yummy I usually order off the menu so it's made fresh. This place is also super cheap so it's definitely worth it. I like trying new things but sometimes I don't end up liking them and the waitress will take it off the bill if I don't eat it which is nice because then I can find out which ones I like and what I don't.
