I come here often and usually have a great experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I ordered three miso soups, and since one comes with the kids bento box, I should have only been charged for two. When I asked about the charge, the server made me feel like I was wrong or didn't understand the menu, even after I explained that the kids bento clearly includes miso soup. It's not about the few dollars, it's about how the situation was handled. No customer should be made to feel talked down to for asking a reasonable question, especially when the menu supports what they're saying. Whenever I need a quick fix without breaking the wallet, I like to order the chirashi bowl, which is typically an assortment of sashimi over a bed of rice. This is the first place that I've been to where they separated the fish from the rice, but none-the-less, it was good and satisfying. The rolls that we ordered was also pretty good. Awesome service! Solid food! Let's set the stage...Saturday nite...end of September. It was a good day (kids and dog fed), but something was missing?!? started with a beer...nope, wasn't that! Tried some water...pass. But what?!? We jump into the car, bolt out of the batcave and head to Sushi House! We were greeted by a man named Bat. Bat gave the specials, and asked if we had questions. "Nope Bat...we're good!". When I had questions about the rolls, Bat said "we can take care of that"! (he modified our orders to better suit our needs). Now the wait...about 5 minutes later, Bat emerged with an elegant array of fine sushi. Me being me...I gobbled it back. My much better half tried her first piece and said "good call". I enjoyed and reveled in her accolades knowing I have done well. We enjoyed until our bellies couldn't take it anymore. Now the hard part...the bill... my finer half looked at me and gave the nod.
