I ordered the Teriyaki Combo Plate with beef and honey spicy chicken. The food itself was good. The flavors were solid, the chicken had a nice glaze and char, and everything tasted fresh. The salad and sauce were good additions as well. That said, for $17.49 before tax and tip, the portion of meat felt a little skimpy. The plate had more rice than protein, and I expected a bit more meat for the price point. Service was pretty quick, we ordered this to go and it only took about 10-15 mins to get our order. Overall, the quality and taste were good, but the value could be better with a slightly more generous portion size. Despite the name giving mass produced product the food we had was actually very damn good, mind you this is a Togo order and not a reflection of the restaurant, and didn't feel as if I was filling my body with oil. We ordered the shrimp tempura, chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, and lion king sushi--you know a nice variety of food from here. Each dish tasted how I expected and then some. I very much enjoyed the flavors and the dishes we got, without the after effect of too much heaviness. I'd 100% order from here again. The lion king roll didn't give me a perfect example of so, but it wasn't bad, my biggest gripe was the wasabi had 0 spice. I mouthed it solo and had no spice at all, so that was a bummer. I don't even know where to start with this place. Ordered the Lion King and the Chicken Teriyaki and it was so darn good! I haven't had a good Lion King in forever as this was my go to, and I was so happy to taste what a true Lion King tastes like again. I absolutely love this place! The name gives it a generic feel but the food is so good and so fresh! I usually don't love strip mall place sushi but there's is on point and not overly sauced. The noodles r the perfect texture and always steaming hot. We don't order much food for delivery but what's better than a bowl of stemaing hot noodles while sitting on the couch watching ur fave show? They're still hot when we get them and everything is expertly packed. The place is small and clean and simple. The people that work there r very nice. My nephew Zach took me out to dinner. He introduced me to this secret spot. The food was fantastic. Hot, fresh, great flavor. I had no idea this was near my home.
