Sushi King is literally one of the best AYCE sushi places I've been to that's around the Philly/Cherry Hill area. I love to go during lunch when it's not as busy but haven't ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. You get served super quick and food comes out fairly quick. I love this place because you get sashimi instead of nigiri so you can enjoy more fish! I take all my family/friends here when they come to Philly. Will be back again many times :) thanks again

Very solid spot for ayce sushi. On weekends it's $30 pp. we came on a Saturday night and it was packed. Even though it was very busy, the servers are very attentive and food came out quick. Everything we order was tasty and really fresh especially the sashami. Definitely coming back here whenever I'm in the area.

This is a great all you can eat sushi place. They bring you a menu and you check what you'd like then they bring it out to you. The service is always terrific and the sushi is super fresh. It's also a byob so what more could you want from a sushi restaurant?

Not what I expected. Restaurant was in a plaza/strip mall and inside was just blah. Most sushi places give you that Japan feel like you are being taking there with the music and decor and this restaurant didn't have that appeal. As to the seats, they have wooden booths that are a bit uncomfortable and it set up like a big lunch room with tables in the middle of the floor. The sushi all you can eat menu- was lacking Crab Rangoon? How? Why? Every other place I've been too has it- what a bummer. I am known for being the crab Rangoon queen and eating way too many in one sitting. Disappointed. Those a few sushi rolls and although it came out quickly- it just wasn't it. The rolls were falling apart and lacked flavor. Even the appetizers were overly drenched in oil and just didn't do it for me. After paying $70 for me and my daughter to eat- I felt like I just threw the money away. Left disappointed. Would definitely try another place next time.

Stopped by for a quick lunch after shopping at Cherry Hill Mall nearby. The food was decent. The best would definitely be the appetizers, including the chicken & beef skewers. The hot & sour soup was very good. The sushi was just okay -- sashimi was fine but the rolls weren't the best given smushy rice. I enjoyed the light and spicy flavors of the albacore tuna sashimi. the service was straightforward, no frills.

They have a really big variety of items! Even if you don't like seafood, their kitchen menu is quite extensive. Orders came out very quick and plated nicely. Get the soft shell crab roll! It surprisingly didn't taste too fishy so I enjoyed it. I also liked how I could order separate dips like eel sauce and spicy mayo. They also have free wifi. It's a little loud there and sometimes the chefs are banging on something which was a bit disruptive. Food was an 11/10. It's a busy place, there's a lot of people who love the food and want a great deal as well. So the service isn't the best, understandably. But 3 different waiters came to ask what we wanted to drink and after the 3rd waiter we got our water, plates and menus. Again, it's very busy so understandable but make sure you are prepared for a wait! Also make sure you're prepared to wait before your table. Highly recommend you have a reservation!

It was my first time here and I enjoyed it so much. I came here with my boyfriend, who loves sushi. I never really liked sushi like that but after coming here, I definitely have it down as one of my favorites now. The service was chill and the people who served us were nice. This was a hidden gem! I'm not from the area and I was visiting friends. They have such great tasting sushi and it's very big too! We ordered one rock n roll and two shrimp tempura rolls (shown in photo) and even though we only finished two rolls it was pretty filling for two people. read more

Placed an order through Postmates in well of enough advanced so that it'd be here by 12:30pm and it got pushed so it wouldn't be here in time for me to get it so I had to cancel it. Solid place for lunch or dinner. Their sushi is good quality with low normal prices. There's good variety if you don't like sushi. And if you do, there's a good number of classic rolls and special rolls or sashimi. Like another reviewer said, don't let the strip mall fool you. Staff is friendly and you can order take out. Don't go there!! Omg, they didn't follow the distance rule, the distance between table absolutely not enough, and the service are terrible, my friends and I standing in front of door for like 5 minutes and no one help, and I saw the waitress just standing behind behind the front dest and didn't even say hello to us, really disappointed, totally ruined my day, and we left. I can't eat at these kind of store. Sick of it!!!! read more

Couldn't decide what I wanted to eat last night. Tried Sushi King on Doordash. Ordered Chicken Katsu Bento Box. Crispy chicken filet, 2 shrimp tempura, 2 sweet potato tempura, white rice and all the sauces. Also California roll. And 2 dumpling! Plus miso soup and salad. I ordered extra soup and extra shrimp for tonight. Plenty for 2 dinners. I have never seen take out packed so well. Everything was delicious and hot. Was right on time. Very impressed!! read more

Really good quality sushi I love to eat sushi and when it comes to sashimi , im very particular on the quality of the fish. And I'd like to say that their sashimi has my approval. Really good salmon and doesn't come out frozen like other places I had tried . Definitely would come back again and I do recommend others who read this review to come and give it a try Appetizer were delicious as well but don't get yourself too full the best part is the sushi. read more

All you can eat sushi. Fairly priced. 26 per person. It's a little over 30 per person after tax and tip but well worth it. Sushi came out on time. Appetizers are good as well. They also have ice cream to choose from and it is all included. Definitely get your moneys worth. read more

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing…read more We started with the seafood soup. To our surprise, there seemed to be more boiled onion in the bowl than seafood or even broth. Onion, especially boiled onion, has a very specific and strong taste, and I think when it is used in such a large quantity, it would be considerate to mention it clearly or at least ask the customer if they are okay with it -- especially since some people may have allergies or simply dislike boiled onions. The menu itself does not make things any easier. The descriptions and ingredients are printed in very small text, and the restaurant is quite dark, making it difficult to read exactly what each dish contains. This is especially frustrating with sushi rolls, where customers should be able to clearly see what ingredients are inside each roll before ordering. Under those conditions, it is very easy to overlook an ingredient, particularly one that ends up dominating the flavor of the entire dish. Next, we ordered the shrimp fried rice. Once again, onion was the dominant flavor, except this time it was finely chopped fresh onion. Later, we ordered four different sushi rolls, and somehow even the sushi had a noticeable onion taste. Out of the four rolls, perhaps one tasted reasonably good. The rest were either bland or overwhelmed by the taste of onion. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. The server was unable to recommend popular dishes or offer any helpful suggestions. When we tried asking the sushi chefs questions, they did not seem to understand us at all. Even the manager's attitude made us feel as though our concerns were an inconvenience rather than legitimate feedback from paying customers. When we mentioned the overwhelming amount of onion, the response was essentially that this is simply their style of preparation and that "next time" we could ask for no onion. The problem is that no one told us beforehand that so many dishes -- including seafood soup, fried rice, and even sushi -- would contain such a significant amount of onion. We were never given the opportunity to say that we didn't want it. I actually like onions, but I certainly did not expect nearly everything I ordered at a Japanese restaurant to taste predominantly of onion. Unfortunately, between the food, the difficult-to-read menu, the lack of helpful guidance from the staff, and the indifferent attitude toward our concerns, this was not the experience we expected or hoped for. And on a slightly humorous note, perhaps the restaurant deserves a second name: "Onion Paradise." At least then customers would know exactly what they are walking into. If boiled onions -- or onions in general, especially in very generous quantities -- are not your thing, you might want to think twice before walking through the door.
