Driving into the location was a bit of a hassle and it is in a shopping plaza that is rather tight, but completely worth it! Prices aren't astronomically high and for what you're getting it's definitely worth every penny. Owners are super sweet and polite! I tried their ramen soup, could've had a little bit more flavor, but overall good! I also tried their dynamite roll with baked seafood on top and a tuna roll. This was the first time I visited this eatery and was somewhat surprised. Although the Yelp ratings were very high, I must have come on an off day. However, today's visit was Good Friday and a game plan should have been in place. I am not a fishmonger, nor a sushi connoisseur, however I consume both rolls and sashimi on a weekly basis. During my visit, I ordered both rolls and sashimi to include tuna tataki. The service was good, yet a customer that arrived well after I did received his food before me. Granted, I didn't see him pay for his meal and thought that maybe he ordered ahead and paid online. Who knows? Maybe an owner or a well known customer? I was surprised to have been served miso soup since I didn't order it. But I enjoyed it. The rolls were fine, yet the rice could have been a bit more sticky. The octopus was not as fresh as I normally expect and the salmon was slimy, but the tuna and yellow tail were okay. The tuna tataki were small bites, and was not served with ponzu. The ambiance was good, yet YouTube content is not for everyone. I will give them a fair evaluation where it is due and will be back to visit on another date and try them again. read more

Companion and I did take out dinners. The place is very clean and owner chatty and very willing to hear what you want. We shared garlic spicy edamame to begin; excellent! It's a mom and pop shop. The owner took my order and made our food. It's small inside with a few tables and we noticed a lot customers were coming in for just pick up. We were the only customers eating there. The sushi was so good and you can taste the freshness. Everything we ordered was good. The only thing is that everything comes out at different times. Our appetizer came out after we got our food because they're making it as they have a chance. They are going back and forth between cooking and taking orders. The food is great though! read more

Stopped in for dinner when I was craving sushi one night. Table service was fast. We had two rolls, edamame and a round of drinks. The red wine was Josh brand and it was a 2-serving bottle which was nice. The rolls we had offered a variety of different seafood - tuna, salmon, shrimp, and white fish. I am so blessed to live right across the street from this little gem. It is truly the best sushi I've had since moving to south Florida. My friend group is a big fan of their salmon roll, salmon lover, and tuna and avocado roll. The spicy tuna hand rolls are also so divine. There is limited seating inside but the customer service is truly phenomenal. The people inside know that we love spicy Mayo and eel sauce and always give us extra to go containers. I placed a to go order in my way home the other night. It was super easy to order on the website, and everything was packed and ready when I arrived! My only request would be to pack the soup separately from the sushi so the sushi doesn't get hot, but I got there fast so it was no big deal. My husband ordered the daimyo roll, which was big and full of fish, and I got the Hamachi jalapeño roll, which was half the size but also half the price, and delicious. I also thought it was such a nice feature of the menu that you can get a small ramen, since ramen at most places is so big and expensive. This time I opted for a veggie dumpling soup, which was loaded with vegetables, garlic, a flavorful broth, and soft dumplings filled with more veggies. All in all, such a good experience! read more

Very disappointing... There are dozens of sushi joints in the area. Skip this one, try one of the others and you'll probably have made a better choice. Uninspiring food. This is a pretty cool place. It's really small on the inside but they do have a small size inside eating area. I ordered the poke tuna bowl and it was absolutely delicious! Next time I'll definitely get extra sauce and mangoes. They also have an attractive menu of food playing on the tv inside so there are a few things I want to try as well. The staff was sweet and everything came out fast. Definitely recommend for a quick bit or quick pick up and go lunch. read more

I wanted some sushi for lunch and this place popped up while doing a google search near my job. Its a very small place seems to be family owned. I wanted a roll and some soup, so i called to place an order and ask some questions. The guy who answered was extremely nice and pretty much told me he would put in my sushi order and help me decide on tje soup once i came in. Once i got there i was instantly greeted and my roll was already done! Impressive super fast! I pretty much just wanted like a dumpling with ramen soup and they gave me suggestions cause other ramens wasnt calling my name haha and they were able make me exactly what i wanted. This is not a formal sit down restaurant, but for a takeout spot, I would give it five stars. Reason being is the food was good and the service was very good. Let's start with the food. My friend and I decided to try a couple different things on the menu. We started with the garlic edamame, which were very tasty. We also got the gyoza and takoyaki as appetizers. The gyoza was good but standard however, the takoyaki was delicious. Seems like it was freshly made piping hot and had big chunks of octopus in it major plus because most places just give you minced pieces of meat but not this place. The udon soup was very flavorful and the Poké bowl very fresh. I opted to try a couple different sauces for the poke bowl so the fish did not have any flavoring on it but that was my fault because I ordered the sauces on the side. That being said, the sesame sauce was delicious. The woman who ran the restaurant seem to be the owner, and she was super attentive and very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. They have a pretty large menu with lots of selections to choose from. There were a few tables inside, so we opted to sit inside as it was raining that day, but there are also tables to sit outside as well if you prefer not to do takeout. They have a great selection of beverages and even desserts. I will definitely be ordering lunch from here again. read more

I have been going here since they opened. Every time I have eaten here, my order is correct, food is consistent, and the customer service is terrific. The staff are friendly and my meals have always had great flavor. I have eaten the chicken bowls, dumpling/pork appetizers, noodle soups, and tried a couple different sushi rolls. My wife really likes the tempura shrimp rolls and has said they are always made the same way. I would highly recommend this spot, good customer service is hard to come by in South Florida, this place has been an awesome go to spot! read more

Went here for lunch with my daughter and we waited 40 minutes for 3 rolls to come out one at a time because there was only one person making the sushi. So happy I found this place! This is a cute little take out sushi spot and feels very mom and pop. It's mostly take out but there are some small dining tables if you want to eat in. Even though it's a small shop they still have a nice selection on their menu. Despite being in East Boca their pricing is very affordable and their portion size is good.
