Great experience! I did the happy hour right before picking up my older daughter from her school. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt like the ambience here is very relaxing and quiet here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can picture myself coming here with a friend coming for a quick happy hour in the future since you can actually talk to the person you're with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most restaurants are just too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the mango slushie drink and it was so refreshing and you can't go wrong with the potstickers. Service was also good, my server was friendly. Overall I enjoyed this experience. Thanks Melodie and Ramen Lab!

First off, excellent service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you are an anime lover you will definitely love this place with its anime themed ambiance throughout the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the mango Mojito with sake, this drink completely blew me away! The balance of flavors is perfect: the sweetness of the tea pairs beautifully with the subtle, smooth kick of sake. It's refreshing, indulgent, and has just the right amount of alcohol to make it feel like a treat without being overpowering. The tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy, and the overall texture was spot on. This is hands-down one of the most creative and delicious drinks I've had in a long time. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to level up their boba game with a little adult flair!

We went for the chef's robatayaki tasting menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is casual, but for this event they set aside a group of tables with tablecloths[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It started with 4 different vegetable preparations. After that there was a very large chicken wing, 3 skewers of meat, 3 seafood items, and a little dessert. I appreciated that they tried to bring us what they learned in Japan including some unique items like the ika tentacles and both Australian and Japanese wagyu beef. We left very full! If any of these items get to the regular menu, I would reorder the mushrooms, wagyu, shrimp, and miso seabass again. The ika tentacles and chicken wing were my least favorite items. We were told that they plan to offer these special dinners a few times a month. Note: we had to book and prepay on Eventbrite; at the restaurant we were informed that tip wasn't included. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The chairs were a little uncomfortable for a 2-hr meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came here for their Snow Bunny Boba but ended up trying some of their food. I got the Bao Bros Chicken Karaage Buns and it was the worst Baozi I've ever had. The chicken was super dry and seemed old. I didn't like the sauce they used or the veggies honestly (I love my vegetables especially carrots but..) the best part were the buns itself. On the contrary their SnowBunny Boba was really good. I got the Matcha Milk Tea and my companion got the Ube. We loved the tea, it tasted great! The tapioca balls were a 3/5 though. Kitty Boba's tapioca balls are a 5/5 -- they're fresher and tastier and perfectly chewy ( they make them fresh in house daily) but their tea is a lacking. We went during the early afternoon around 1pm and it wasn't busy. The Boba guy at the counter was nice, and greeted us as we entered. Our server was ok she was attentive enough but we had to flag her down at one point even though it wasn't busy at all. The lack of business could also explain why my chicken looked and tasted like it was just sitting there all day, not freshly made at all! I gave them 3 stars because of the Boba and The awesome decor. I'm a big anime fan so I love that it seemed like an Otakus' dream eating spot from the Naruto menu to the large Aang and Goku Hologram frames, they even had Astro Boy playing on the TVs. The Gundam light and the anime wallpaper that lines the restroom hallway with all sorts of anime. I would like to give them another chance and try a different dish, with the hopes I'll have a better experience. I definitely want to try some of their unique Boba flavors.

I was invited to a special, private event to preview their new summer menu items - What the Flavor where they will add new menu items each week. In this small group of 20, we tasted upcoming new, creative menu items with brief narratives from the chef/owner explaining each dish. The first item was a spicy tuna sashimi on a crispy rice cake - small, only 1-2 bites but the flavor was amazing. I could have eaten 6 but knew there was more coming! The app was a crispy chicken parm Bao Bun. The bun was so soft and tender. The sauce had an Asian spin with the addition of soy sauce. Messy, but a fun fusion. There weree 3 entree tasting. First, there was a cold ramen with roasted pork chunks, corn and house pickled veggies. Subtle, amazing flavors. Next up was Hot Honey Chicken and Mochi Wafflle - another fun fusion. Tasty - but beware - the sauce really brings the heats! The final entree was Beef Bulgogi Philly Cheesesteak. A fusion using bulgogi sauced meat in a sub bun that had been toasted crisply to hold in the goodness, The evening finished with Ichigo strawberry cupcake. By then, I was so full and happy that I can hardly remember it, except for appreciating a little sweet bite at the end. NOTE - these items are not available but will be appearing on the menu over the summer with Wednesday releases planned. Gotta go every week to sample the new items! Oh, and the sevice - while different from the regular restaurant - was equally amazing to the food. Try and stop me from going back! Thank you Louis for a creative menu and such an enjoyable evening.

Great food and service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I look forward to visiting soon and trying others dishes and boba. The Tonkotsu ramen had great flavor.

Came to Ramen Lab for happy hour for the first time on a Tuesday. Was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too crowded and they had Bingo which was super fun! Admittedly, I went about a month ago and am just now posting this review, but the service itself didn't seem incredibly memorable. Not great, but also not bad. We got the chicken karaage bao buns, burnt ends kimchi fried rice, the salmon wonton tacos and two drinks. The bao buns were probably the highlight of the meal. The bun was really soft which was a nice contrast to the crispy chicken. I was most excited about the kimchi fried rice, but the pork belly was not at all crispy, and the rice was pretty dry. Although I cant remember what I paid exactly, I certainly remember it being a bit expensive, even for a happy hour. The food was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. I think most people probably go here for the ambiance/theme of the restaurant itself (which doesn't do much for me personally). I cant see myself craving ramen lab, but wouldn't decline if someone invited me out.

Ramen Lab is located in a clean shopping Plaza in West Boca. As you enter, the entire place is transformed in a very cute and fun way. A perfect date day/night/atmosphere. Kid friendly & adult friendly. Front area laced with hanging flowers, entire restaurant laced with anime pictures and decor. Ceiling lights are unique and grandiose. Anime playing in the car area TV! Plenty of workers, everyone is young and kind. Allows you to be a kid!! The food was fun to pick out. Everything could use more salt and flavor. Pan Seared Gyoza - 5 dumplings on a cute plate, delicious Ramen Tonkotsu - green noodles for St Patty's! Everything delicious inside + a perfect egg Yasai Fried Rice - nice crunchy rice, loaded with veggies, presentation perfect, lacked salt/flavor Lavender Snow Bunny Milk Tea - Lavender flavor was light and delicious/refreshing. No bubbles at Noon on a Saturday, and I asked to wait for the bubbles. But they were not going to make them so I had a bubble less milk tea. If you know, you know.

Food was excellent, waitress was super nice, very nice sake menu, easy parking... we loved this place and will go back!

Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Salty Cheese Foam

Fantastic experience! Everything from the food, ambiance and service was top tier! The Tonkotsu Ramen broth was rich and the pork was incredibly flavorful. I also got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with a salty cheese foam which was also delicious. Our waitress was great and the food came out fast. I'd highly recommend Ramen Lab Eatery, and they definitely have the best Ramen in the area.

I was looking for good ramen in the area for months and stumbled upon this quaint space going to Dick's Sporting Good. Upon entrance it feels like a fairy tale, very pretty, atmosphere is calm but energized and the staff all seemed very welcoming as I waited for a take out order. The menu is very diverse and on brand. There will be something for everyone, kids, vegetarian etc. Korean Beef Bulgogi - 20/10 It was flavorful, had a little kick and tender meat. Miso Ramen (Vegetarian) - 7/10 The broth was a bit thicker than other ramen dishes I've had which affected the broth-full meal I was looking for but flavor was perfect!

I had read that they opened a Ramen Lab in West Boca and decided to try it. I did takeout since I only live 15 minutes away. Both item weren't hot by the time I got home. I tried the Gyoza Hand Wrapped Dumplings with Lobster and Shrimp, tasteless. Beef Bulgogi Don with marinated beef, cucumber, carrots, radish, cilantro, scallion, sesame seeds, and Kimchi, Over Japanese Rice. Very nice and flavorful but would have been better if it wasn't slightly warm .

YES! YES! YES! YES AGAIN!…read more My boyfriend and I had date night last Saturday, and it was our first time dining here. The staff was really nice, the restaurant was super clean, and the ingredients were fresh. I had the spicy Taiwanese soup base. My boyfriend had the Coconut Tom Yum. We enjoyed a nice selection of different meats such as pork, lamb, and beef. Seafood options include shrimp, squid, and octopus. Quail eggs, frog legs (if you're into that :), and tofu. The conveyor belt was super fun because you could watch it as it went by and pick up whatever garnishes you wanted. Green onions, mushrooms, parsley, cilantro, cauliflower ... I could go on and on. We also had dessert. My favorite is the red bean and macha ice cream! Can't wait to go back! ***ALSO order the tea***

This place offers a set price for Hot pot and is buffets style as well as conveyor belt delivery for veggies; you just swipe what you want. You start by picking a soup of choice and then you gather the food you need, cook it yourself in the pot and there are instructions and available on the wall for cooking times. It's relatively straightforward. Be careful with how much you grab as they will charge you for any excessive leftovers. I got the tom kha and my fiance got the tom yum. He found his soup to be a little on the lemony side for his taste but I think that's just a preference not a reflection of the quality of the soup. I loved my coconutty tom kha. Our waiter showed us how to operate the dial and gave us information about cooking time recommendation. We ordered some hot tea and had a wonderful time. The buffet appeared to be clean and the food fresh and well kept. I tried a variety of meat as well as seafood. The shrimp had a little bit of a previously frozen kind of taste but the scallops were excellent. I think in the end I'm not a big fan of the red meat even though it cooks quickly and tastes fine I just think preference wise I more so enjoyed loading up on the vegetables and noodles. The best thing I had there was the gyoza, so freaking good, highly recommend. It is worth noting that my fiance love the meat, so the great thing about this place is the variety and how multiple people can sit down and enjoy what they like, together. Drop by!

Ambiance: very nice facility. Service: EXCELLENT…read more Food: Absolutely the very best sushi restaurant I have been to in many years. It was a Saturday night around 8 and it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. I ordered a scallop sushi, Mexican roll and salmon basil roll. The scallop sushi was so fresh, and melted in your mouth. The party I was with ended up ordering one each for themselves as well! The mexican roll was simple and enhanced with a little wasabi and ginger. Perfectly bite sized pieces. The salmon basil roll was unlike anything I've ever had before. Pretty much tasted like a caprese in sushi form! Salmon was incredibly fresh, again super tender and melted in your mouth, no fishy taste. The party I was with also ordered three pieces of uni. Was $14.50 a piece, so pretty steep! However the uni was incredibly tender, very similar to butter, however the tail end did have a slightly fishy taste, but it is sea urchin so that's not uncommon. Someone ordered the tempura udon, they said the broth was a little bland, the udon were cooked perfectly, but of course the tempura gets soggy as it's sitting on top of the udon. They also ordered the fried JB roll, the hot mama roll, and an eel and salmon hand roll. While I can't comment on those things, everybody was incredibly satisfied with their meal and everything was reasonably priced. I didn't pay for this meal, so unfortunately I can't comment on the bill, but I can say this is not a cheap sushi restaurant. The prices are a little higher than average, but you're also getting what you pay for. The quality is spot-on and is exactly what you hope for when you have a sushi craving. The service was fast and they made great recommendations. Their sushi roll selection is not huge by any means, but their menu has a lot of diverse options on it. The only thing that I can't stand, but is of course very common with Sushi and Asian restaurants, is having canned soft drinks. This is a personal preference and didn't impact my rating at all. Overall, I would definitely come back to try other things!
