First the good. The food was fabulous. Easy parking, shown to a table right away, a glass of plum wine and all was good with the world. We ordered 2 apetizers and 2 entrees Bao buns, spring roll, then lobster volcano and Blufin noodles. Sounds good and Is always good at Blufin. We spoke ti our waitress 3 of 4 times to ask someone to make it cooler, which never happened. I made a mistake by not asking for the manager. The waitress wasn't to blame as she told us she asked whomever is in charge to lower the temperature. I abruptly asked fir a check as I couldn't sit another minute . We took home almost both of our entrees, which is not why we went out to dinner. We ordered UberEats. It arrived fast but our order was huge and it was all stacked to the top of a single paper bag that almost ripped getting it into my house - there was no care in the packaging. we used to love bluefin. Tonight we wanted really good Thai and decided to order Pad Thai from them. We called for pick up and I asked please just make the pad Thai moist and I would like some ginger. There was no ginger and the pad thai was SO dry no matter what I tried , it was barely edible. Blue Fin Sushi has always been my go-to spot for a sushi lunch. The fish is consistently fresh, and the service is impeccable--truly a standout experience every time. I have a few favorites: the sliced yellowtail with jalapeño is a must, and the miso-braised sea bass is absolutely delicious. Their range of specialty rolls is impressive, and they're more than happy to accommodate special requests. Bento boxes and specials are available for lunch. Thai food also served, although sushi is where they tend to shine. It's reliable, high-quality, and always hits the mark. A favorite of mine for good reason. We came here for lunch midweek. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were quite popular as the tables were constantly filled. And there were large groups of people from a few offices enjoying lunch at long tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Inside, they were well staffed both on the restaurant floor and in the open kitchen/sushi bar. They have two main menus for lunch (along with their regular menu) -- one featuring Thai food and one featuring Japanese food. We both decided to order from the Japanese lunch menu. You got your choice of miso soup or salad with your lunch. We both ordered the salad that came with ginger dressing. My husband got the number 3 lunch box special: sushi, sashimi, and sunomono. When it was delivered, it was as gorgeous to look at as it was to eat. The bento box had three pieces of sushi (tuna, salmon, white fish) over rice; a slice of a large tempura battered roll; six thick slices of sashimi fish; a small dish of sunomono with octopus; and five pieces of a California roll. I got their #12: Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp Tempura. The only glitch was that they delivered steak teriyaki instead of chicken. They took back the steak and replaced it with newly cooked chicken. But when the bill came, they charged us for the steak (!) which was $2 more. (We adjusted the tip accordingly after the server erroneously told my husband they were the same price.). My lunch was also delivered in a bento box. One section each for the teriyaki, the shrimp and vegetable tempura, two fried wontons (crab rangoons?), and some white rice. The service here is incredible. I love going here for dinner, they make me feel so welcomed. I feel like I can take my time and enjoy my food without being rushed out. The food is always spot on and delicious. My favorites are the pad Thai, classic spicy tuna roll, and the hot tuna sandwich. The hot tuna sandwich is actually a new thing I discovered on the menu! Very disappointed. Had duck in a chili sauce. The duck honestly faster like it was prepared before hand and frozen, defrosted, sauced. It was extremely Dry And tasteless. Did not have that juicy flavorful duck characteristics. Never had duck before that was not dripping with the suck jiices that we all expect. For $35 I expected something better and fresh cooked. Dining partner ordered a chicken & cashew thai dinner. Just a very bland sauce. No heat, no typical thai kick to it. Desert was very good. Thai donuts were spectacular. Great lunch specials! I've been here a couple of times for lunch. Usually taking advantage of their lunch specials. You can get a Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, with soup or salad, for just $15. A sushi/ sashimi bento box for the same price. And many other combo options sure to keep you filled for the rest of the work day, They also offer full menu which has A LOT of Chinese, Japanese and Thai options. I've gotten the Orange Dragon Roll and it was excellent. Bluefin was okay and I've had better Sushi and better Thai food but I've also had much worse and the restaurant is like many other combined Sushi/Thai restaurants and for us was all about the average. I might have enjoyed the food better had I did take out as the restaurant was busy and service faltered big time. We had trouble flagging down the waitress and getting her attention and this certainly lessened dinner. The Thai food would have benefited from more heat and spice but was okay. I visited here for the first time on Thursday. There was no wait and we were seated instantly. Delicious and beautifully plated sushi. Portions are generous and can generally be shared. Usually no wait for seating and food tastes fresh. My favorite item as a light sushi eater is the Sushi Bomb roll with Tuna, salmon, snapper, avocado, asparagus, scallion, masago (roe). This dish is served tempura style with tiger sauce. The shrimp fried rice was also really tasty. It wasn't heavily salted or even seasoned but packed with flavor. It was nice and quiet and the servers were attentive. I will definitely be visiting again soon. I did not get pics as the food was delicious and eaten quickly haha! Doesn't look like much from the outside, as it's nestled in the corner of a strip mall. Though once you step inside it's much nicer and a bit busier than expected. My boyfriend and I were seated immediately and ordered spring rolls (fried), baby octopus, and three rolls. The best by far were the spring rolls which is something I'm not usually a fan of but it took all my willpower to not eat the whole plate. The sushi was okay in my opinion. The fish tasted fresh but I'm not sure if the rice was over cooked or just too wet because it tasted pretty soggy. The Miami roll had the potential to be great it was just missing a little something - maybe a sauce of some sort? The octopus was marinated beautifully but was just served a little too cold for my liking. I may come back because it's such a short walk from where we live but I won't be rushing back. read more

The ambience is intimate and relaxing, the service is attentive and exceptional, and the food is brilliant. Chef Yozo Natsui and his staff prepare the freshest, most flavorful appetizers, soups , entrees, etc. for whatever you and the guests at your table come up with. It's best to come with a large party so you can order numerous dishes and everyone can have a taste. Of course, you can always 'play the room' stopping at each table and engage the guests with some witty comedic banter while surreptitiously noshing on their orders. Since there were only two of us tonight, our sushi selection was very limited. Be sure to double check which location of Bluefin you are ordering from! My fiance made the mistake of calling the Boca Raton location thinking it was the Parkland location. They have the same exact website layout and menu. Aside from that, the options are plentiful and there's something for everyone. If you love sushi, there's a lot of raw options as well as cooked. So many rolls and quite a few unique creations that sounded delicious. They have stir fry dishes and noodles. We were craving sushi and ended up driving 25 minutes more than we had to just to pick up our correct order. The owner at this location was very friendly. Our American Dream Roll was refreshing and light. Great use of lettuce. The Crazy Roll had eel and salmon skin. The taste was fantastic. Unfortunately with the waiting time of our order, the salmon skin wasn't super crunchy anymore. Definitely need to go back and dine in next time. My favorite place to go is amazing there and I know we are my family used to go here and they own business like this place for a long time recently the rolls are amazing they have mackerel whenever I ask for it very friendly and they have the best roles of any other place that I've been to. The owner is amazing and the lobster is the best price as well not very expensive but very impressive and never gotten insecure. My family had a business in the office park behind. Bluefin is a popular spot for the lunch crowd in East Boca. It's always super quick service and the food is always good. I visited so many times yet this is the first time I am leaving a review. They have a great selection on their lunch menu of both Japanese and Thai options at a very reasonable price. The lunch specials also come with soup or salad. Today we opted for a green salad with ginger dressing, the steak teriyaki, lunch special and the steak teriyaki with sashimi and sushi special. We also got a red dragon roll.
