    Yellowtail with Jalapeño

Blue Fin Sushi has always been my go-to spot for a sushi lunch. The fish is consistently fresh, and the service is impeccable--truly a standout experience every time. I have a few favorites: the sliced yellowtail with jalapeño is a must, and the miso-braised sea bass is absolutely delicious. Their range of specialty rolls is impressive, and they're more than happy to accommodate special requests. Bento boxes and specials are available for lunch. Thai food also served, although sushi is where they tend to shine. It's reliable, high-quality, and always hits the mark. A favorite of mine for good reason. Located in a strip mall with parking available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is not a super fancy place, but it is good quality, unpretentious, and reliable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We came here for lunch midweek. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were quite popular as the tables were constantly filled. And there were large groups of people from a few offices enjoying lunch at long tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Inside, they were well staffed both on the restaurant floor and in the open kitchen/sushi bar. They have two main menus for lunch (along with their regular menu) -- one featuring Thai food and one featuring Japanese food. We both decided to order from the Japanese lunch menu. You got your choice of miso soup or salad with your lunch. We both ordered the salad that came with ginger dressing. My husband got the number 3 lunch box special: sushi, sashimi, and sunomono. When it was delivered, it was as gorgeous to look at as it was to eat. The bento box had three pieces of sushi (tuna, salmon, white fish) over rice; a slice of a large tempura battered roll; six thick slices of sashimi fish; a small dish of sunomono with octopus; and five pieces of a California roll. I got their #12: Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp Tempura. The only glitch was that they delivered steak teriyaki instead of chicken. They took back the steak and replaced it with newly cooked chicken. But when the bill came, they charged us for the steak (!) which was $2 more. (We adjusted the tip accordingly after the server erroneously told my husband they were the same price.). My lunch was also delivered in a bento box. One section each for the teriyaki, the shrimp and vegetable tempura, two fried wontons (crab rangoons?), and some white rice. My lunch was good, but my husband's sushi lunch was the star. Next time, I think I'd like to try one of their Thai dishes.

The service here is incredible. I love going here for dinner, they make me feel so welcomed. I feel like I can take my time and enjoy my food without being rushed out. The food is always spot on and delicious. My favorites are the pad Thai, classic spicy tuna roll, and the hot tuna sandwich. The hot tuna sandwich is actually a new thing I discovered on the menu! It's genius! Tuna, spicy tuna, carrots, scallion and masago... what more could you ask for? It is spectacular. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is cozy, clean, and not too bright.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They created a well lit ambiance for people to feel comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't recommend this spot enough!

The food was okay. My steak and chicken teriyaki was not bad but it wasn't great either. I did have a good pad Thai there before but this time I was not impressed. The waiter was very attentive which kind of made up for it. It's ok for a quick lunch.

I don't always make my way up to Boca, so if I do it has to be worth it. I would 100% make the trip to this restaurant! Inside feels elegant and the ambiance dances the line between dressy and casual. The food was delicious, but my favorite part of the dinner was the sushi. Definitely get lobster bomb and the fried rice! It was recommended by the manager and it did not disappoint!

Always love Bluefin! My favorite place at lunch for sushi and lunch boxes. They have Thai and Japanese selections! I normally ordered the following, Yellow curry, Phad Thai, sashimi soup or salad with ginger sauce. Always my go to. Perfect for coming in for lunch time when at work, it's quick and fast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My girls go here all the time! The smells is always inviting![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend!

Great lunch specials! I've been here a couple of times for lunch. Usually taking advantage of their lunch specials. You can get a Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, with soup or salad, for just $15. A sushi/ sashimi bento box for the same price. And many other combo options sure to keep you filled for the rest of the work day, They also offer full menu which has A LOT of Chinese, Japanese and Thai options. I've gotten the Orange Dragon Roll and it was excellent. The restaurant can get very busy and service can be hit or miss, meaning sometimes you have to wait longer or they're not as friendly as others, but food is always on point and when you get a friendly staff the experience is 5 stars

Boca Raton can be... polite…read more Safe. Predictable. A place where flavor sometimes shows up wearing loafers. And then there's Chow Thai Cuisine, which kicks the door in and reminds you that spice is not a suggestion -- it's a lifestyle. Let's begin with the Tom Kha Gai. This soup isn't comfort. It's therapy with a PhD. Coconut milk silky enough to calm your nervous system. Galangal and lemongrass punching through like they have something to prove. Lime snapping you back to attention. It's hot, bright, layered -- the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-sentence and just nod. Fire. Absolute fire. Then came the Spicy Virgin Chicken -- and whoever named it that undersold it. This thing was off the chain. Bold heat. Real heat. Not Florida "mild but we call it spicy." The kind of balanced burn that builds instead of bludgeons. Flavor first. Heat second. Respect maintained. You can tell when a kitchen knows what it's doing. This one does. And here's the real test -- the only test that matters: Would we come back? Not "maybe." Not "if we're in the area." Not "with a coupon." Yes. Without hesitation. The Thai tea deserves its own paragraph. Creamy, sweet, but with this subtle floral undertone that sneaks in at the end like a quiet encore. It doesn't scream. It lingers. It knows exactly what it's doing. Now the tragedy. I didn't order the spring rolls. Why? Because I ran out of stomach. Which is both a failure and a victory -- because now I have a reason to return. And I will. The decor? Unexpectedly transportive. You walk in and it feels like you left Boca for a minute. Warm lighting, layered textures, a quiet otherworldly vibe. Not cheesy. Not forced. Just enough to shift your mood. Some restaurants serve food. Chow Thai serves intention.

Obviously others feel the same because this quaint small restaurant often has at least a short wait for a table. Just Thai has lots of lovely teas and unique drinks. I also recommend speaking with Annie or any of the servers for recommendations on their menu. The son-in-law eggs are absolute perfection. They make the sauce in-house, and it's SO good. Be sure to check out the specials when you enter, because they often have lots of amazing dishes on the board. They also cook up their tofu perfectly here, and it captures all the seasons and flavors of the dish. The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca.
