My next favorite is the Kanisu roll, but I didn't really like the sauce it came with. Tasted very vinegary, could've been paired with something else. And the cucumber felt a little dry, it wasn't as crispy fresh and I expected it to be. The other two rolls were average. When here last night for dinner by a friend's suggestion. And what a good suggestion it turned out to be LOL. Seriously the best Pad Thai I've ever had. It was amazing!! It was fresh and warm and gooey. Perfect for cold weather night. I don't remember if all paid ties come with fresh cut chives over top of it but it made such a big difference. It's like it made the rest of the dish stand out. The best way I know how to describe it is that scene from Ratatouille when he's eating the mushroom that got struck by lightning. Hahaha. It was this explosion of flavors in my mouth. Love it. We also ordered the JJ B, and spicy tuna rolls which were amazingly fresh and savory as well. Sushi lico was phenomenal! I live by the area and couldn't believe how spectacular the food was. I ordered a pad Thai and was blown away on how authentic it tasted, I had to call to let them know how good the food was. I've had many pad Thai's in my life and this is as good as my favorite Thai spot due to how close to the real deal it is without leaving the country. The food was so good it had me coming back a 2nd time the next day just to try out their sushi and a Thai tea. My wife and I were blown away on how good the sushi tasted and how authentic the Thai tea tasted. Thai tea is hit or miss for me, with me only enjoying from a local mom and pop Thai restaurant, but this place matched that flavor and consistency that I crave. I will be going back soon to try some of their other Thai dishes but now knowing that some of the chefs are Thai, I know the food will taste amazing. We visited Sushi Lico or the first time on a late Saturday evening. We were delighted they were open and had a full menu. We were actually surprised of the amount of customers that kept coming in. The gyozas and the sushi were very good. Not quite a five-star situation but a solid 4. Our biggest issue was the service. We never got our waters refilled and we had to wait about 30 mins. after we were done for our meal for our server to acknowledge us so we could request our bill. Though he went around us he failed to ever make eye contact and instead chatted with the cooks. I started off with a Tom Ka Khai with shrimp. It is a hearty big cup they give with a good amount of shrimp and the broth was delicious with just the right amount of coconut milk. For my main dish, I went with the Yao Ming 76. It had Tuna, salmon, white fish, crab salad, asparagus, 1/2 tuna & salmon on top with special wasabi mayo sauce. The roll is rather big and so filling you have to get creative on how to eat it! The only thing I will note is that I didn't taste the wasabi mayo sauce. We've ordered from here a lot since this is very close to our house. Food is reasonably priced, rolls are really good, appetizers are also good. We ordered from here last night and I noticed upon placing my online order I was automatically made to put a 13 percent tip. I had three options and they were all to give different amounts. There was no option for not putting a tip. My problem with this is. I am not having the food served to me and sitting at a table, I'm also not having the food delivered to my house. I am going to the restaurant and picking up my order so I don't think there needs to be a tip for that.
