Tried Sushi Litto today. I like the small restaurant feel to the place. It's quiet and not too much going on. I sat myself down because there was no "Have a seat or pick where you want to sit" which is fine. I sat down and was given the menu along with chips and salsa and ordered the Mango Roll and Salmon Horneado Roll. I'll start with the chips, usually restaurants that give chips they come fresh, hot and nice right? Not today. The first couple of chips were okay then I noticed a few stale chips and had that rubbery texture to them but salsa was good tasted fresh and had nice flavor to it. The Mango roll was a bit sweet but good though I like the texture of it and surimi with mango was a nice touch. Next, I had the Salmon Horneado Roll and the salmon tasted a bit sweet. I wanted to give a chance for this place to see a potential in coming back but I don't think I'll come back. Hopefully other customers enjoy this place. Good restaurant. They have good ceviche and great Micheladas. I ordered the regular ceviche and the seafood ceviche that comes with octopus and a house sauce added. I had very high hopes for this place. It's very small and not very nice. The sushi was great! It was definitely worth the very very long wait The Agua Frescas were good, however I ordered pineapple and ended up with mango. I guess they are the same color so close enough. The service is extremely slow, the servers are very inexperienced and have a hard time keeping up. Lots of dirty tables and it took forever just to get our drink order. But what gives me pause about going back is that while the sushi was great, it sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes and when she brought it out she told me that a rice and bean burrito was still not ready and would be out in 5 minutes. Her idea of 5 minutes and the actual time are very different. I finished my food and the burrito never came. I finally had to take it Togo so my kid watched me eat and ate at home. The sushi is great but they need to fix their service issues and the cooks that make the hot food need to be trained better, all food needs to come out together and not sit in the counter. Just went here today Sunday March 30 and this place was surprisingly busy but understaffed. The guys helping us and everyone else was taking orders, cleaning tables, cashing people out. He was hustling. The manager was some Hispanic lady with long black hair all she came out to do was bark out orders to him and let him know things he had missed. It's like excuse me why don't you come out and help him more instead. Girl nobody cares about your lip fillers or what you look like. The bathrooms were gross the women's restroom had throw up in it for over an hour when we left it was still there. When you wait to go to restroom there is a door way with no door and you can see into the kitchen. Only one cook lady wearing no gloves she also touched the garbage can wiped down her station and then touched the food without washing hands!!!! She continued to make an order gross!! They had their crab meat for sushi out with no refrigeration. They had so much food out with no refrigeration. Food in Tupperware that they were using to cook with. This place was simply gross. My favorite part is when a customer went up to the lady with long black hair that was clearly the manager and was telling her something about her order and that manager lady replies "usted aquí alegándome de su orden mientras yo estoy tratando de ayudar ha esta gente aquí." Translated she said your over head complaining about your order to me while I'm trying to help these people. I died of laughter. I can't how does she even run this place. I do not recommend and their food is over priced! The sushi has more rice then filling. Almost $20 for one roll! There ceviche was too spicy for my liking and also almost $20. Food was ok but the service was very slow, I mean very slow. The Super Michelada nothing like the picture in the menu. They use very tiny shrimp. They need to take a page out of Tequila's Taqueria in San Jose. They know how to make a Michelada. The rice and beans on the Camerones a la Diabla plate were served cold. Just really disappointing. I went for the first time this week. I have been waiting for this kind of sushi without having to wait 3 hours to be seated. The place is small but does its job. The waitress was very nice and answered our questions in a good manner. I got the jefe de jefes and my husband got a shrimp taco (with fresh handmade tortillas) and a quesadilla. Everything was good! I would recommend that the chipotle sauce and avocado are room temperature instead of very cold since it makes the deep fried sushi roll itself cold. Everything was delicious. No one came, we had to ask them for the tab 3 times and take it upfront because we where not willing to wait for them to pick it up. Food is ok, but we wont be coming back. Maybe pick up but even then the service is horrible. They played music both times I was there, the music is loud so if you what to have a conversation this is not the place to go. For lunch my husband and I went here, because we wanted to try something different. I have allergies to certain seafoods, but I read the menu throughly and I ordered the ceviche roll. (I am not allergic to salmon or shrimp - so it sounded good) After 45 minutes waiting for our food to come, I bite into the roll and good thing the rice was so under cooked that the sushi fell all apart and revealed the fact that it was not what I had ordered. The micheladas are ok..you have to mix them before you drink them though because they don't. I ordered camarones al mojo de ajo and they looked nothing like the picture..They where nasty.. They tasted as if they put Orange tampico on them.. The white rice was completely tasteless and had hard pieces. The customer service sucks. The waitress took our order and brought our food, other then that she never came to The table to see if we needed anything. I was not going to tip, due to the bad service but the waitress hovered over me while I signed the receipt and I felt pressured into leaving tip. Ordered the roll with mango and it was pretty good...my kids ordered fries, they didn't really like the fries they were very greasy. Wasn't the kind if fries I expected.
