Little bit expensive for a poke bowl, but the quality of the fish is very good, making up for the price. Really great ahi, nice fresh texture. Love the Mac nuts, although if it was crushed, might blend in the sauce better. Impressed with the spam Musubi, teriyaki sauce and tamago roll. Very great flavor 7/5 Friendly staff, who took the order. Nice dining area and bathroom.

It took a long time to get our food we ordered @710 and got our order @ 750 it was sat and they seem to have a lot of pick up orders .We had the dragon roll and the Philly roll they were ok ...... staff is friendly. They are missing an opportunity. Seems like they want you to pay before you get your food. I never tip upfront missing an opportunity for the waiters and waitresses get tips. I'm sure customers would like to tip after their experience... oh I know I think this will be a spot will come for our lunchtime I forgot to change not for dinner.

Salmon capacious. The soy panzo sauce worked well with the richness of rhe salmon. Fresh and buttery salmon slices.

Finally a sushi restaurant worth visiting. Food was good, flavorful, and fresh. From Poki bowls to sushi it was all good. Family and I had to try some apps which were delicious. Wife had a poki bowl special. And salmon Kama for mom and i. Wish my Salmon Kama was grilled rather than deep fried. Can't wait to try other dishes. Worth coming back too. Keep it up TRCA team

Really happy we found this place! We live in Merced and drove here just for the sushi and we'd do it again! We created our own poke bowl and ordered two rolls on the side. Everything was fresh and the fish seemed to be really high quality! Will definitely be returning.

Now Rainbow Roll cost $19.54 no wasabi, no ginger. And comes with a fork.

Ordered one roll for takeout. Went to pick up the item. One girl working. I walked in and she looked at me and walked to the back room. I waited. She came back and said sushi or bowl I said takeout. So the whole experience started out poorly. Received my roll and left. When I got home, I discovered that there was no ginger or wasabi with my $20 roll. They clearly states that it comes with these items. The roll is small. I won't return there's other places in town to go. With a rude employee and with missing ingredients just not worth it.

This brand new poke place just opened up in my area so I was very excited to take my parents for lunch. I will say it feels like they are still in the process of settling in because the walls aren't fully decorated or painted yet but the bathroom was nice and clean You order at the counter, I love that I can write down and build my own poke myself. It's easier that way and I see all the options. They are have a cool selection of drinks. Where it loses a star to me is pricing though. It's very expensive compared to similar restaurants in the area. There are a ton of people working so the food comes out fast. But there isn't much service. You just grab a table and wait. I liked my bowl, I think the ingredients were fresh and good quantity. Honestly too much to eat in one sitting but not enough for two meals. If it was a little cheaper I'd come back more often!

This place is a hidden gem!! Their sushi is very fresh and they have a good selection. Will definitely be back:)

The ingredients were really fresh ! I got the Medium salmon poke bowl and the cashier was very nice , he explained to me how to order since it was my first time there. I also found out they have 10% discounts for college students which can come in handy. I ordered mine to go but I can see the inside was very clean and in a chill area

Finally went to try this place. It's so close, I can walk over. My 2 kiddos and I built poke bowls and tried the smokey salmon roll. So fresh and delicious! It's just what we needed and look forward to when they open the second half of the restaurant! Tried the melon cream soda, mango cream soda and large strawberry ramune. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everyone seemed professional and made sure we were taken care of throughout the visit, which created a positive first impression and made the overall experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the food, specifically the pho, did not live up to the same standard. I was expecting a rich, fresh, slow-cooked broth with deep flavor and that homemade taste that good pho is known for. Instead, it tasted more like packaged instant pho. The broth lacked depth and tasted overly processed, as if shortcuts were taken in preparation. It just didn't have that authentic flavor I was hoping for. I was honestly disappointed because the great service had me expecting an equally great meal. I really wanted to enjoy it and hoped for a better balance between service and food quality. I'd consider coming back because of the staff, but I hope improvements are made to the pho in the future."

Sushi restaurant or a nightclub?…read more My friend and I decided to go for a night out Downtown. When we arrived at about 7:00pm, we were told there would be about an hour wait. Despite this long wait, there were actually quite a few empty tables, but was overall still very busy. When you put yourself on the waitlist, they notify you through text when your table is ready. This gave us ample time to walk around Downtown while we waited. When we received the table-ready text (just short of an hour later), we were sat quickly in a nice U-shaped booth. This seating arrangement felt a bit awkward for a party of two, especially if you are sharing food. The booth is too big to be sitting close enough to reach but too small to not feel awkward. It is perfect for people watching though since the booths face the entire restaurant. By this time, the restaurant was completely packed, with just about every booth, table, and barstool occupied. Our waiter came quickly to take our drink orders. We got a Cucumber Martini and an Espresso Martini. The Cucumber Martini was incredibly light and refreshing. The Espresso Martini was not impressive. It didn't have a strong espresso flavor and was rather watery, but still alright. This is the type of restaurant, that especially on busy nights like this where they don't accept reservations, you should allocate a lot of time for the dinner service for. There is a significant time gap between each time the waiter comes around to take your order. There was probably 15-20 minutes between placing our drink, appetizer, and meal orders. This was not a problem for us, but if you are eating here before making a show at the Gallo Center, this may be something to consider. For our appetizer, we ordered the Salmon Ceviche. It was insanely good. It was subtly spicy and citrusy. The chips that came with it were light and not oily at all. I wish the portion was larger because the two of us swallowed it up in just a few bites. For our entree, we got the Salmon Tataki and Goodi Rolls to split. They were both very good and came out on a lovely platter. They tasted very fresh and high quality. The prices here are on the higher side but is nice for a special occasion or splurge. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. He was super friendly too. The restaurant was super lively. They were playing club music which was totally a vibe. It looked like this was the spot people hit before going out for the night. I noticed they were accommodating for both small and large parties, serving both rather quickly. I'll be back!

I loved the omelet and crepe stations, two of my favorite things for breakfast. There was plenty of good options to eat. I personally dont eat pork and would love non pork options for sausage and bacon but you can't cater to everyone's desires, I get it. None of the desserts blew me away but the over all meal was pleasant. The only thing that really bothered me was I told the waitress it is our first time here so how does it work. She said you can just start getting the good and bring to your table and she would get our drinks. I said what drinks can we get (as in whats included in the buffet). I had no idea we would get charged extra for every drink otherwise we would have stuck with water or whatever was included with the buffet price. I thought it was all included. There was no prices posted anywhere and there was no menus because its a buffet. That really bothered me for a long time and I wanted to ask for a refund for that amount to be honest. Life happened and I never got around to it.
