The Ninja - Round Two. This is the second time our family had tried Sushi Ninja, and it was a great improvement. To be fair, the first time was soon after they had opened, and it was a busy night. I'm really glad we went back. The food (a couple of make-your-own poke bowls, individual sushi rolls, miso soup, etc.) was good. Service was above par (fast, prompt). They just opened the inside. It's small and simple. People were definitely waiting for indoor dining. This visit was in the winter and it was a tad cold inside. So bring a jacket. We ordered Philly roll, Salem roll, Hannah roll and the blackened tuna roll. They were all yummy and fresh. But the Hannah roll was my favorite. Husband also ordered blackened tuna nigiri and tofu pouch nigiri. I tried the blackened tuna nigiri and it was delicious. I didn't try the tofu pouch but he said it may be the best he's ever had (he loves them). We spent a little more here than we do at the other local spots but it is definitely justified. read more

It's ok.. I have been twice now and think Moshi is much better and more reasonable. Their nigiri sake is thicker than Sushi Ninja. The location is awkward .. on an early weekday not too bad but we go around 5 so Moshi is easier and their selection is better. This place is great! They have a grand opening deal for a free California roll if you order $15 worth of sushi and it goes until October 31, 2022. They are on GrubHub. They also have online ordering on their website and you can order by phone. On a busy Saturday night, GrubHub and online orders said orders were paused because it was busy but we were able to place an order by phone without issue. We ordered for five people on and the wait was only 20 minutes, it was perfect. So I recommend ordering by phone on a busy night. The sushi was super good! I got the Oregon roll and the Vegas roll and California rolls. All were really high-quality and really well-made. These were some of my favorite Oregon roles I've ever had. We also got the chicken Katsu, teriyaki chicken, and yakisoba noodles. All incredible, the portions are huge too. The yakisoba noodles were my favorite they were really good! Customer service was awesome, the guy working was super nice and friendly. For parking there was street parking and a small parking lot with about seven spaces. And when we went five spaces were open so no issues parking. You just walk up to the window and pay and get your food! Very easy! Love this new business and I hope they do well! read more

Cute little sushi restaurant. Good miso and the sushi was good. Some rolls where better than others. The takoyaki octopus was tiny and rubbery. The ninja poke was covered in too much Mayo sauce. We've given this restaurant numerous chances , not to make a judgement on just one or two visits. Every single time we were treated incredibly rudely by the same young girl waiting tables, cashiering, and doing take/out orders- every time. We've even had to wait to place our order because she was sitting behind the counter busy on her phone and couldn't be bothered to check on her table. Her only table. The food itself was good. I would have said I'd go back again for that, but the attitude of the wait person was ridiculously , unapologetically, one of complete apathy. When my son asked , while picking up a small takeout order, what's with the attitude, she said " no tip", tossed the bag at him. No thank you, no nothing. We tip when dining in but not small takeout or drive through orders. That's crazy. Manager simply said " I'll let the owner know." No one cared. My entire family will no longer go here. Best sushi in Mac right now! It was definitely a little pricey but with these times I am not sure it is considered pricey anymore to be frank. I ordered delivery, and they said it would be done in 20 minutes. It was more like 40 minutes. And I do understand that businesses are busy, but I was a little bit disappointed in a 40 minute wait time... Other than that I would absolutely recommend them . This is definitely a local spot because you really have to be local to nowhere to park. They have a drive up window for pick ups, which is convenient. But I did find a parking spot went in with my parents who were experiencing sushi for the first time. Go figure. They enjoyed it. I enjoyed it and I would recommend you enjoy it too. read more

Seems primarily geared toward making sushi for takeout; there's not much of a proper "dining room." It is tiny, but it is there, and it's cozy; my partner and I ate in there twice before the first time we ever got takeout from them, and they made us feel very welcome and comfy! The menu is huge, and after ordering different stuff from it 6 different times, I can say it has all been *excellent*, and beautifully presented, too. We stopped by McMinnville for lunch driving back from the coast and stopped by this nice little sushi spot. The food was very warm and welcoming on a rainy winter day. Started with miso soup and hot green tea. Our appetizers and entries came just as we excepted so the service was very good even with just one person working the floor. Flavors of the bento box and unagi bowl were on point. The negative aspects were the visible boxes of carryout containers in the seating area and the restroom was out of toilet paper. We've placed more than a few to go orders, they're always correct and decent for McMinnville sushi but they've yet to be on time when picking up. If you place an order online for anything with sushi/sashimi be prepared to wait 20 minutes or more past the timeline they provide, 5:00-5:15 on the text alert for pickup but didn't leave with our food until 5:45. read more

Delivery took double the estimated time - understandable it's a new place and on a Friday I imagine it was crazy busy. They forgot a roll and I also didn't receive the free roll that is their current promotion. The driver almost didn't take the money threw the food and ran to his car my bf had to chase him down to pay. I tried to call to report the missing food but was met with a busy signal and no way to report it online that I could see. The quality was excellent and prices at about the same as elsewhere in town but the portion sizes are a lot smaller.
